Abstract

This research aims to develop conventional media in the form of writing learning savings to improve the learning process of cursive writing for grade II elementary school students. The method developed in this research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model which consists of the Analysis Stage, Design Stage, Development Stage, Implementation Stage, and Evaluation Stage. Data collection techniques were done by interviews and observation. Meanwhile, the data analysis test used qualitative descriptive analysis by explaining the learning design for cursive writing skills assisted by tabeli media. The validity of the data in this research used triangulation of techniques and sources. According to experts, the results of the assessment and development of the media can be concluded to be suitable as supporting subject for the learning process of cursive writing skills for grade II elementary school students. The level of feasibility of the Tabeli media according to media experts, teacher questionnaires, and small-scale limited trials on grade II students obtained results in the "decent" and "good" categories. So it can be concluded that the Tabeli media is suitable for use as a support for learning to write in cursive order for second-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is a curriculum that emphasizes the development of holistic competencies, creativity, and entrepreneurship of students to face the challenges of complex times more effectively. In secondary education, the application of the independent curriculum is able to have a significant impact on learning objectives, including the craft subject on the topic of processing. The research method used is qualitative by applying interview data collection, observation and field documentation studies. The results of the study found that the implementation of the independent curriculum at Nurul Huda Porong Sidoarjo Junior High School was carried out in stages from grade 7, with teachers who had received training to develop their own learning tools. The learning process for food processing crafts is interactive and fun, despite the lack of equipment and practice rooms. The integration of Independent curriculum in food processing craft in junior high schools produces students who are competent and knowledgeable in the culinary world.

Abstract

Cooperative learning can be defined as a method in which students work together in small groups to support each other's learning, with the goal of understanding class objectives and engaging in learning activities. An instructional approach that utilizes this new framework is known as Think Pair Share (TPS), a pedagogical model consisting of several learning stages that can increase student engagement and interaction. The Think Pair Share (TPS) cooperative learning model is a structured approach to group learning where students exchange ideas to improve their cognitive abilities, articulate their viewpoints, and foster collaboration among peers. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of implementing the TPS (Think Pair Share) cooperative learning model to improve student learning outcomes. This study used a methodology by conducting a literature review. The methodology used in this literature review is based on a qualitative approach and uses data collection techniques from the literature review. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the TPS (Think Pair Share) type cooperative learning model can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes. The TPS Learning Model is suitable for MIPA learning because it effectively meets students' learning needs through its implementation

Abstract

The utilization of technology in digital era has been beneficial for all aspects of human live including education. Technology is also used as the problem solvers and solutions for educational problems faced by teachers and students in schools. Based on that situation, this research proposed to analyze and discover the impact of School Tube utilization as the learning media at Madrasah Aliyyah Negeri (MAN) 1 in Lhoksemwe. This qualitative research used a descriptive approach and employed two data collection techinques that are interview and observation. The respondents of this research were teachers and school administrators at MAN 1 in Lhokseumawe. This research found that the utilization of SchoolTube at MAN 1 Lhokseumawe has positive impact to help students in learning their subjects. It directs students to learn independently that promotes autonomous and asynchronous learning model. Besides that, Shool Tube also helps teacher in providing materials for students to learn when the teachers need to attend their administrative duties outside the classroom. On the contrary, some teachers were still found not proficient in using this media. Moreover, as a free learning media, School Tube still has limitation access, so the students could not use it outside the school compound. Thus, it is suggested to the school authorities to train and enhance teachers’ ability through workshop in using School Tube and other audiovisual application as learning media.

Abstract

Mathematics is a mandatory subject that plays an important role, therefore the lack of adjustment to learning models and supporting media in the learning process can be one of the factors causing low learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of think pair share supported by wordwall on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at Elementary School. The research was conducted at SDN Batu Ampar 02 Pagi in the second semester of the academic year 2023/2024. The research method used was quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The sampling system used non-random sampling of 30 students in the experimental class and 30 students in the control class. The instrument used was an essay test that had been validated and tested for reliability. In data analysis, tests for analysis requirements were conducted through tests of normality (Kolmogorov-Smirnov) and homogeneity, while hypothesis testing used independent sample t-test with SPSS version 29.0.0.0. Based on the analysis, it was found that the average learning outcomes of the experimental class using think pair share supported by wordwall were 79.75, which was significantly better than the average learning outcomes of the control class students using conventional learning, which scored 70.25. The t-test result obtained a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.003 (0.003 < 0.005), hence Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that in this study, there is an influence of the think pair share supported by wordwall learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Students' ability to write poetry must be more meaningful, this will not happen if Indonesian language teachers still use conventional models in their learning. Breakthroughs such as Contextual Learning are needed so that learning to write poetry is more meaningful for students. The aim of the research is to determine the differences in the poetry writing abilities of students who study using Contextual Learning and conventional models at SMAN 1 Lembang. The research used in this research is experimental, with Non-equivalent (Pretest and Posttest) Control-Group Design. The population in this study was class X students of Senior High School 1 Lembang, totaling 10 classes. The sample was determined randomly, so classes X 3 and X 7 were determined, each with 31 students. The instrument uses the Poetry Writing Ability Test. Data analysis follows the following steps: 1) Normality test with p-value > 0.05, 2) Homogeneity test with p-value < 0.05, and 3) ANOVA test with p-value < 0.05. If the data is not normal or homogeneous then a Non-Parametric test is carried out using the Wilcoxxon and Mann-Whitney U tests. The research results show that the use of Contextual Learning in learning to write poetry provides better results when compared to conventional models.

Abstract

Proportional Reasoning is a complex mathematical way of thinking about interconnected ideas such as multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions, ratios, powers, measurements, and percent. This research aims to identify students' thinking processes in solving decimal problems that require proportional reasoning. This research was conducted on 5th grade elementary school students in Klaten, Central Java, Indonesia, using test instruments, interviews and documentation studies. The test given consists of five types of questions, namely tests on questions that require students to use additive, multiplicative thinking skills, use reasonable or appropriate ratios, build unit structures (groupings), and understand invariants. The research results found that the proportional reasoning indicator that was more dominantly used by students was the ability to think multiplicatively, while the sub-indicators were writing and completing calculations but the final results were not correct. Apart from that, other findings explain that the low ability is due to the prerequisite material not being mastered, students not understanding the questions, and students not understanding the concept of the topic. Thus, these results confirm that proportional reasoning abilities in grade 5 elementary school are still quite low.

Abstract

Praktisi kesehatan perlu mengintegrasikan keterampilan dan pengetahuan baru untuk memenuhi tuntutan era global. Pendidikan Berbasis Kompetensi (CBE) merupakan alternatif yang menjanjikan dibandingkan dengan pendekatan konvensional. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan CBE dalam pendidikan kesehatan, peningkatan kompetensi klinis, tantangan, dan solusi potensial. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Scoping Review dengan lima langkah untuk mensintesis literatur yang ada, diikuti dengan analisis mendalam menggunakan pendekatan Population, Exposure, Outcome (PEO). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dari April 2024 hingga Juni 2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa CBE secara signifikan meningkatkan kompetensi klinis praktisi kesehatan dan meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

Service marketing strategy is the main aspect that needs to be explored to identify potential for improvement and development. This research discusses formulating marketing strategies that will be implemented, analyzing student preferences and needs, and evaluating customer satisfaction. The results obtained are Analysis of Student Preferences: Students from the FIP UNJ Education Management Study Program prefer face-to-face learning methods (78.3%), although a small number also support blended learning; Various digital learning media have been used, showing readiness for further technology integration; Students need additional support such as tutors and workshops for their personal development. Satisfaction Level: Student satisfaction with various aspects such as lecturers, curriculum, campus facilities, and administrative services varies, with some areas requiring improvement, particularly in campus infrastructure and teaching quality. Recommended Marketing Strategy: Strengthening academic branding by highlighting alumni successes and improving teaching quality; Utilization of digital technology for learning and communication with students; Improvement of campus facilities to support offline learning and student comfort; Promotions and digital marketing campaigns to attract prospective new students. Conclusions and Suggestions: There is a need to improve the quality of teaching and campus facilities, optimize technology in learning, as well as more aggressive marketing campaigns to strengthen the competitiveness of study programs; Adapting the curriculum to industry needs is also important to ensure graduates remain competitive in the job market.

Abstract

This research examines the development of educational resources in the millennial generation era by utilizing the Society 5.0 and Local Genius 6.0 approaches. The main focus of this research is how these two concepts can be applied in developing an educational curriculum that is more adaptive, relevant to modern technology, and still maintains local values. Using an explorative method, this research found that the merging of technology and local wisdom resulted in significant improvements in education quality, student engagement, as well as strengthening cultural identity. Despite some obstacles such as gaps in access to technology and limited resources, the results show that this holistic approach is effective in improving the quality of education in the digital era.
