Abstract

Learning outcome, student achievement and academic achievement are some of the variables that get a lot of attention in educational research. Nevertheless, from several national studies collected there are inconsistencies in particular with regard to English terminology as well as inconsistencies in methods and instruments of data collection. Therefore, this study aims to explain the different methods of data collection research on learning outcome, achievement learning, and academic achievement. This study is a study desk study using literature review to explain the different methods of data collection on learning outcome, student achievement, and academic achievement. Based on the results of research can be concluded that the method of data collection of learning outcome, can be done through three ways, namely, perception survey, interview, and forum group discussion (FGD). While the instruments that can be used to collect data learning results are questionnaires, interview guides and minutes. Methods of collecting research data about student achievement, can be done through two ways namely, (1) test and (2) non test. Data collection methods of academic achievement can be done through documentation.

Abstract

Self adaptation is individual skill to react effectively in social connection environment individual in a place. The training guidance self adaptation in prakerin is developed for make counselor easier in the school for give service optimally and prepares students well before prakerin. Research subject is 11 grade of SMK PGRI Pakisaji Malang. The purpose of the research is produce training project self adaptation SMK student in prakerin place. Test effectiveness is done with one group pre-test post test planning. The instrument which is used is self project scale in prakerin with grain validity ≥ 0,3 and reliability alpha Cronbach 0,882. The result of the research show that (1) the project that is developed has complete acceptability and, (2) it has improve of effectively self adaptation SMK student in prakerin place.

Abstract

Abstract: The study design using action research applied in guidance and counseling services (follow-services research). Subjects in this study, researchers took VII.4 grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Metro Odd Semester Lesson Tabun 2012/2013. Of the 24 students, there are 10 students who experience a lack of motivation to learn to 41.66%. The method used in collecting data by observation and field notes. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data. Validity test is done through assessment experts /specialists ie counseling teachers SMP Negeri 1 Metro, other friends peer discussions that instrument with other friends FKIP students with courses in counseling. The results of this study, it can be concluded that the results obtained through the implementation of the procurement of content services in increasing the motivation of learners class VII.4 SMP Negeri 1 Metro Tabun Odd Semester Lesson 20 12/20 13 is visible from the change in behavior and ability of learners in learners become more willing to meet the needs of achievement, students can understand or have confidence in learning, learners have the ability to overcome failure in learning, and learners have a good competitiveness in the service learning. Through mastery of content supplied by BK teacher can increase the motivation of learners class VII.4 SMP Negeri 1 Metro Odd Semester Academic Year 201212013. There is increased the motivation of learners in the first cycle seen from the average percentage that is equal to 27.5% and in the second cycle of 75 %, resulting in an increase of 47.5%. Response and activity VIl.4 grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Metro Odd Semester Lesson Tabun 2012/2013 on the service in the content mastery enhance learning motivation is very positive, it is shown by the participation of learners in the service following the mastery of content, learner motivation and enthusiasm in participating services as well as content mastery learners were active in service activities mastery of the content.Keyword: Motivation, Content Mastery Service.

Abstract

This study is purposed for guiding students to use their smartphone appropriately and opportunely through School-Wide Positive Behavior Support (SWPB). Location of this research was at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta which used Classroom Action Research and Spiral Self-Reflective as its design. The research process was undertaken within 2 cycles where each cycle consists of the planning phase, action phase, and reflection phase. Group counseling and individual counseling were applied as the form of SWPB in which students who received these services were selected purposively. All data collected through observation, questionnaire, and interview. Respondents participated cooperatively during counseling service sessions; as a result, they can manage their selves to not use smartphone unless it is necessary for learning resource and assignment in the classroom.

Abstract

The continuous improvements in order to optimize the basic education to higher education are still running. Based on that purpose, there are many factors to supporting the students' learning activities success; one of the factors is suitability with majors in university. The purpose of this study is to reveal the condition of the compatibility of students majoring with their interest, then to describe the information when the student choose their majoring. Samples in this study were 122 peoples, taken by random sampling from the Padang State University. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires. The results showed that there are students that their major do not match with their interest (22.13%), only 3.28% of students who feel compatible with their major. This result should be a major concern, particularly for counselor in schools for design counseling services to solve these problems. The result of this study used as a grand tour or a preliminary study for further research.

Abstract

Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan di SMP Negeri 2 Trimurjo yang berjumlah 32 peserta didik dapat ditunjukan 1). Kurangnya minat dan kesadaran siswa untuk belajar sejumlah 10 peseta didik, 2). Mudah putus asa dalam menghadapi kesulitan belajar sejumlah 12 peserta didik, 3). Kurang percaya diri (merasa kurang mampu terhadap pelajaran tertentu) sejumlah 3 peserta didik, 4). Sering mencontek sejumlah 7 siswa.Terlihat dari latar belakang masalah tersebut peneliti mengambil penelitian tentang Pelaksanaan Bimbingan Belajar Dalam Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa SMP Negeri 2 Trimurjo Tahun 2011-2012.

Abstract

This research uses qualitative method approach. The data is taken through semi structured interviews so that the researcher can get the deepest information from the subject but still use interview and observation guidance. Aims to determine the perspectives between ethnic groups by looking at how the interactions or relationships that occur in everyday activities, the management of conflicts, what activities are usually done together, and the attachment that exists between various ethnic groups in Kelurahan Pengasinan Kota Bekasi to meet Practical needs. The theory used is the group definition theory of Joseph S. Roucek, Major Polak, and Wila Huky, inter-group relations of Kinloch and Stanley Liberson, social interaction theory of Soekanto, Sunarto-majority minority relations theory, Budiman, Suparlan and Edward M Bruner, and the inter-ethnic perspective theory of Setiaman. Social relations itself has a sense of relationship in which there are interactions that occur in society in order to prevent the emergence of conflict. Based on the results of research and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that, good interaction among ethnic groups is the key in maintaining relationships among ethnic groups. This will affect the survival, social behavior, and perspectives that arise and develop among others.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the condition of stress student in completing the thesis viewed from a physiological reaction, psychological, cognitive and behavioral. This study was a descriptive study with a sample of 93 people using simple random sampling. The instrument used in this study is the Student Stress Measurement Scale Completed Thesis (SPSMMS). The study findings revealed that 1) most of the students in completing the thesis stressed in general at a moderate level with a percentage of 35.5%, 2) most of the students in completing the thesis under stress with physiological reactions at a moderate level with a percentage of 40%, 3) most of the students in complete the thesis experiencing psychological stress reactions at a moderate level with a percentage of 38%, 4) most of the students in completing the thesis stressed with cognitive reaction at a moderate level of 35.5%, 5) most students in completing the thesis stressed by the reaction behavior at moderate levels 38.7%. The study recommends necessary counseling services in order to reduce student stress conditions in completing the thesis.

Abstract

Abstract: Activity instrumentation applications is supporting activities that strongly supports the achievement of the effectiveness of counseling services organized by BK teacher. Goals to be achieved by the researchers is to determine how the level of mastery of instrumentation applications teacher guidance and counseling junior at Metro City. The quantitative Descriptive research design used. The results showed mastery of instrumentation applications BK junior high school teacher in the city of Metro is quite good, with the percentage of 64.81% . In all four aspects studied lowest percentages are aspects of the execution and reporting that is 15.46%, and which has the highest percentage is the aspect of evaluation ie 17.13%. Suggestions put forward, namely upgrading of instrumentation in guidance and counseling teacher training and seminars on instrumentation activities.Keyword: Instrumentation Applications, Master of Guidance and Counseling

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the discrepancy between the performance of group counseling program on SMP Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang with standards. This study uses a standard of Guidelines for Performance Based Professional School Counselor Evaluation. Standard reads, “the professional school counselor counsels individual students and small groups of students with identified needs/concerns”. This study is an evaluation research using a discrepancy model. The approach used is a systems approach that is focused on the planning, implementation, and evaluation of group counseling programs.
