This article examines and discusses (1) the concept of emotional literacy, (2) the concept of the child and his emotions, (3) the metaphor of windows and mirrors in a cooperative game, (4) metaphor window and mirror technique in cooperative games for develop emotional literacy on children. Emotional literacy means the ability to recognize, understand, and realize the emotional self, labeling emotions felt, expressing emotions and situations experienced by way of an appropriate and proper emotional management. Using the metaphor of the window and the mirror technique, students can understand his emotions as well as others. This study aims to find out there is a direct effect of school-based management in the professionalism of teachers. Subjects were teachers who served in secondary schools in Central Lampung, participants were 40 teachers. The study used a survey method causal. The study proved that the school-based management influence on the professionalism of teachers. This research is aimed describ the learning motivation and self-concept of students who truant. This study used a descriptive quantitative method. The research conducted by the students of SMAN 5 Padangsidimpuan in the period of 2015/2016 with the total of the population was 420 students. Amount of research sample was 36 students and had been chosen by using purposive sampling technique. An instrument employed in this study was a Likert-scaled questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using percentage technique and the relationship between the two variables was analyzed by using nonparametric statistic, that is Spearman’s Coefficient of Rank Correlation. Results of this research are just like the following: 1) participants’ level of achievement on self-concept of students who truant is about 69,8%, 2) participants’ level of achievement on learning motivation of students who truant is about 69,2%, and 3) correlation coefficient of self-concept and learning motivation of students who truant is about 0,581. Therefore, it can be concluded that students who truancy have very low self-concept and learning motivation, and there is a significant relationship between self-concept and learning motivation. To  pass the examination, the most important thing to be considered by the students is the examination preparation. There are so many kinds of examination faced by the students, one of it is national examination. Therefore, the national examination should be prepared well by the students, school, and parents since it is a tool to measure students competency of achievement which held by education unit in order to obtain learning confession and it is a requirement of finishing education level. This research is aimed to describe and differentiate the preparation of students with high learning achievement and the students with low learning achievement in facing national examination. This is a comparative quantitative descriptive approach supported with interview. The target of the research is students of SMA Adabiah Padang, with 327 students as the population. There are 80 students placed as sample. The research finding reveals that (1) physical preparation of students with high learning achievement and the students with low learning achievement in facing national examination is in well prepared category (2) psychology preparation for both students with high learning achievement and the students with low learning achievement is in well prepared category, (3) the preparation in mastering the learning material for both students with high learning achievement and the students with low learning achievement is in well prepared category,(4) the analysis of t test result reveals that there is a significant difference between students with high learning achievement and the students with low learning achievement of SMA Adabiah Padang.Keywords: Preparation National Examination, Students Learning Achievement.

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui apakah pelatihan efikasi diri dapat menurunkan kecemasan pada siswa yang akan menghadapi Ujian Akhir Nasional. Partisipan dalam penelitian berjumlah 20 orang, yang dibagi dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Karakteristik partisipan yangdigunakan dalam penelitian adalah siswa-siswi kelas 3 SMA baik laki-laki maupun perempuan yang cemas dalam menghadapi UAN dengan rentang usia 16-18 tahun. Hipotesa penelitian yaitu ada perbedaan kecemasan menghadapi ujian akhir nasional antara siswa-siswi yang mendapatkan pelatihan efikasi diri dibandingkan dengan siswa-siswi yang tidak mendapatkan pelatihan efikasi diri.Pengukuran kecemasan dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala kecemasan menghadapi UAN. Hasil penelitian dengan analisa uji t menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan gain score 17,5 dengan signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05) yang menujukkan bahwa siswa yang mendapat pelatihan efikasi diri secara signifikan menujukkan ada penurunan kecemasan dalam menghadapi Ujian Akhir Nasional.Kata kunci: efikasi diri, kecemasan menghadapi ujian

The purpose of this research is to improve the ability of students in guidance and counseling  to  analyzing the case through journals and learning logs This research is classroom action research consists of two cycles. The research phase consisted of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subject are students in guidance and counseling while they are in sixth semester, totaling 20 people who were taking courses in Case Study. The research instrument is the observation guidelines, assessment rubrics and documentation of case studies in the form of journals and learning logs, and case study reports. The study was conducted collaboratively with student magister’s program guidance and counseling. The results showed that in cycle 1 students are able to identify cases, to develop ideas about the case, select and use instruments to analyze the cause of the problem. The results of the research cycle 2, showed 17 of the 20 students were able to analyze the cause of the problem, select the type of service and provide appropriate assistance in accordance with problem cases. Overall value obtained by the students in the subject of Case Studies also increased. In terms of the ability of explanation of the concept, the concept of truth and creativity, based on the ratings given by fellow students of average ability students were in either category, although there is less good, as are associated with the activity of the opinion and the quality of the opinions expressed.

National Final Examination is one of the tests that must be passed by each student in Indonesia who want to continue to pursue higher education. The test could cause anxiety on students due to graduation standards. One of the things that influence anxiety toward this test is individual characteristic especially the ability to regulate emotions which are very closely related to emotional intelligence. The sample of this study was 350 students in grade 3 junior high school that will facing National Final Examination from three schools in Banda Aceh. Data collected by The Emotional Intelligence Scale and The Anxiety Toward National Final Examination Scale. The results showed a correlation coefficient r = – 0.376, p = 0.000 ( P <0.05 ). Abstract: One of the factors that can influence student learning is the motivation to learn. Students' motivation can be built with an understanding to students about the importance of learning how to learn effectively, and how to overcome learning problems. Departing from this, the research problem is formulated as follows: Is there any influence of information services on the students motivation ?. The aim of research to determine the effect of information services on the students motivation. The study design was one group pretest-posttest design. Subjects numbered 20 students. To determine the study subjects used the technique Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling.Hasil hypothesis test showed the value of t = 8.75> 1.729. The conclusion of the study is an information service that executed can affect motivation. Cyber counseling is divided into various shapes, one form is the use of facebook. Guidance and counseling teacher in schools can implement the cyber counseling assited with facebook to reduce online game addiction the students who are more likely to prefer to communicate by text relationship, and students who do not feel comfortable with counseling services by face to face. Problems of children who are addicted Online Games at school require a relief to effort with Group Counseling assited with facebook services for addressing and alleviating the problems experienced, both personal and social through cyber counseling. Abstract: Humans live in this world depends on culture. Culture greatly affect every aspect of human life that occurred as a whole according to the demands and needs. Human activity ranging from waking to sleep again did not escape the influence of culture. Culture is indeed long life for each event experienced by humans is closely related to culture. For example, as socialize with other people very concerned with culture because every human being has their cultural awareness. Just as a counselor when faced counselee when giving guidance and counseling services. The counselor must have the cultural awareness in the face of the counselee for bringing the essence of each culture. In providing guidance and counseling services, counselors need to pay attention to cultural awareness of being able to bring counselees to understand the psychological characteristics such as intelligence (intelligence, emotional, and spiritual), aptitude, attitude, motivation, and others. Counselors in Indonesia are still not paying attention because of cultural awareness in the provision of guidance and counseling services helped form a new behavior and to determine the success of the counseling process.Keywords: cultural counselor, guidance and counseling services, the ASEAN economic community
