Abstract

Base lending rate is the implementation process of the management of bank funding. Inbanking industry which more competitive, banks are required to offer a low base lendingrate. On the other hand, the banks had no motivation to maximize revenue. This study isaimed to analyze the effect of reserve requirements, deposit interest rates, third partyfunds and cost of loanable funds to the base lending rate.The samples used in this study are 14 private national banks and state-owned banks listedon the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2014. The method of this research is usingmultiple regression model with IBM SPSS Statistics 22 program to analyze the effect ofindependent variables to the dependent variable.The result shows that the deposit interest rate and the cost of the loanable funds havepositive and significant effect to the base lending rate. However, reserve requirementsand third party funds does not affect to base lending rate. These results proved that highinterest rates on time deposits are the bank's strategy to increase market share of timedeposits which is bank's largest sources of funding and the component that has thebiggest influence on BLR is COLF amounted to 33.79% of the components that formBLR.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of product quality, promotion, and product design over buying decision through brand image in matic motorcycle yamaha mio brand in Semarang city. This research was conducted on consumers in the city of Semarang where the respondents had purchased Yamaha Mio brand motorcycle more than 1 time of purchase. The total of sample used in this research is 100 respondents with questionnaire as the collecting data method and non probability sampling as sampling method used with purposive sampling technique. The research used Structucal Equation Modelling as analyze technique which is estimated with SEM AMOS 21.0 program. The results of this study state that brand image has the most powerful and significant influence on purchasing decisions, followed by product quality, promotion and then product design which also has a strong and significant influence on brand image. Brand image factor is an important element that can influence buyer to make a purchase decision. So that the higher the level of brand image, the higher the decision to make purchases on these products and services.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Managing brand equity has become a major issue for the marketers and marketing researches for a several decades. In service industry, such as hospitality, company can encourage customer repatronage intention through high brand equity it has. The problem of this research is how to improve brand equity that affects repatronage intention. The reseacher has developed a model and four hypotheses that have been proposed in this research. The sampling technique used is purposive method. Sample  used in this research is 120 respondents in which the visitors of DOME coffee shops at Surabaya. The data analysis that is used in this research is Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) in AMOS 7.0 program. The result of SEM analysis has fullfiled the Goodness of Fit Index Criteria which are: chi square = 129,585; probability = 0,123; GFI = 0,887; AGFI = 0,846; CFI = 0,976; TLI = 0,971; RMSEA = 0,036 and CMIN/DF = 1,140. It has been discovered that there is only three out of four hypotheses are accepted. Here are the result of those four hypotheses: 1. Country of origin perception has positive and significant effect on brand equity, 2. Sales promotion has positive and significant effect on brand equity, 3. Physical environment does not have any effect on brand equity, and 4. Brand equity has positive and significant effect on   repatronage intention. Abstract

The research has the efforts of junior high school, high school and vocational school inUnggulan Nurul Islami (Nuris) Semarang, to become the institution that not only deliverswhat the needs of the students, but is also able to offer values that can satisfy the students.This research identified at least 4 (four) the troubles in this research besides found theproblem in service quality, human resources quality, and location of Unggulan NurulIslami Semarang. The research also get a referral earlier research that deserves to beresearched further in an upcoming research. Therefore, the formulation of the problem inthe research is how to increase student satisfaction in accordance with the expectationsof the school through the value of the customer. This research also formulate models and4 (four) research hypothesis.This research uses a sample of 100 students in junior high school, high school andvocational school Nuris Semarang. In this research using of intervening models (multipleregression analysis) and survey methods with questionnaires. Primary Data is requiredand tested is the quality of human resources, the quality of the education service,location, customer value offered and satisfaction of students.The results of this research demonstrating that the model and the four (4) hypothesisreceived significantly. And the research found that the quality of human resources (HR) isthe most dominant variables that affect student satisfaction through customer value.Therefore, it can be concluded to improve the quality of human resources at the juniorhigh school, high school and vocational school became the main determinant in studentsatisfaction through customer value at Unggulan Nurul Islami Semarang.Keywords: Human Resources Quality, Service Quality Education, Location, CustomerValue Offered, and Student Satisfaction

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meninjau kembali instrumen-instrumen kuantitatif yang dapat digunakan peneliti untuk mengukur kualitas layanan. Pencarian literatur dilakukan dengan menggunakan layanan penyedia database akademik terkait instrumen pengukuran kualitas layanan yang tersedia bagi berbagai sektor. Pencarian literatur berfokus terhadap instrumen yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengkuantifikasi instrumen yang memiliki rekam jejak penggunaan di organisasi. Untuk setiap instrumen, penelitian ini melakukan perbandingan kritis terhadap dimensi kualitas layanan, skala pengukuran yang digunakan, contoh penerapan, serta keunggulan dan kekurangannya. Terdapat beberapa alternatif instrumen untuk mengukur kualitas layanan yang dapat dipakai oleh peneliti, dengan atau tanpa melakukan modifikasi terhadap butir-butir pertanyaan dalam kuesioner. Pemilihan kuesioner mana yang akan digunakan dapat diputuskan oleh peneliti/tim peneliti atau berdasarkan dari tujuan penelitian.

Abstract

The presence of welder is very important regarding the sustainability process of oil & gas company. Unfortunately, the welders who have working competence in oil & gas company in Bontang City have not met the requirement. On several occasions, oil & gas company has brought in welders from outside Bontang City. Consequently, there are many welders in Bontang being unemployed. If it is not immediately be overcome, this paradoxical condition will be a problem for the community and the company itself. Therefore, there is the need for appropriate search and approach in dealing with the problem mentioned above. This paper contains a research on the program of increasing welder’s capacity in the form of certification for working standard in oil & gas company conducted by Badak LNG.The purpose of the research is to better understand the strategy and approach implemented by Badak LNG. Through the quantitative-analysis method based on the secondary data obtained by the researchers, as well as qualitative-analysis method in the form of observation and direct interviews with the involving parties in the program of increasing welder’s capacity, the writer of this paper concludes that the approaching strategy used by Badak LNG, called as Creating Shared Value (CSV), is a program implemented strongly considering the community interest and internal interest of the company.CSV approach in increasing welder’s capacity through the oil & gas certification has increased the community’s income, the welder’s thinking capacity on their potency and skills, promoting awareness to strengthen the welder groups in Bontang in organization (Ikatan Welder Bontang), as well as providing long-term warranty for Badak LNG on the availability of local welders who meet the requirement of working standard in oil & gas company.

Abstract

This research study aimed to determine the influence of customer value, experientialmarketing, trust toward customer satisfaction of Hotel Pondok Tingal Magelang. Asample of this study is 100 customers. The technique used in sampling is purposivesampling. The results of this study showed that customer value, experiential marketing,trust toward customer satisfaction have been effect on positive and significant .Customervalue represent most dominant factor in influencing customer satisfaction.Keywords : customer value, experiential marketing, trust, customer satisfaction.

Abstract

ABSTRACTS During 2000-2004 Indonesian banking had increased their performance, but in 2005 it had decreased. The objective of this study is to analyze Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loans (NPL), and Biaya Operasional dan Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO) to Return on Asset (ROA). The financial reports of 84 banks were the population and by using purposive random sampling methods, 59 of them were used as sample. The multiple regression analyzes were used to test hypothesis. The results shows that variables CAR, LDR, and BOPO were significantly influences ROA, but not for variables NPL and DER. CAR, LDR, and NPL have positive influence to ROA, meanwhile BOPO and DER have negative influence. Key words : Performance; ROA; CAR; LDR; NPL; DER; and BOPO

Abstract

The performance is a result of the quality and quantity of work achieved by an officer in carrying out his duties in accordance with the responsibilities assigned. One of the causes of the declining performance of the employee is occupational safety and occupational health. This study aims to analyzed the effect of occupational safety and occupational health on employees performance at PT. Apac Inti Corpora Bawen Jawa Tengah Unit Spinning 2. Sampling in this research was using the method of random sampling by taking a sample as much as 81 respondents on PT. Apac Inti Corpora Unit Spinning 2 and using analyze regression method. Collecting primary data is done using the methods a questionnaire, while collecting secondary data done with a method of literature and the source of the internet. Based on the results of the calculation of regression analysis it can be concluded that the variable that have the greatest influence on the performance of the employee is Occupational health (X2) with the value of coefficient regression of 0,371, while the Occupational safety variable (X1) has a value of coefficient regression of 0,272.   Keywords : occupational safety, occupational health, employess performance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of problems of the many employeeswho left the company at PT Madu Baru Bantul, Yogyakarta. Moreover, accordingto the pre-survey interviews that have been done, there is a lack of communicationbetween the leaders with employees. Objective of this study was to analyze theinfluence of organizational commitment, leadership, employee performance, andjob satisfaction as intervening variables in PT Madubaru Bantul Yogyakartace.Method of analysis of the data used in this research is descriptive andquantitative. The samples in this study were employees of PT Madubaru amountedto 77 people. Data collection was carried out by using a questionnaire that hasbeen tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis method was using classicassumption test, path analylisis, as well as the coefficient of determination.Descriptive analysis shows that organizational commitment, leadership, jobsatisfaction and employee performance was moderate. Based on the results ofmultiple linear analysis and test of Sobel test indicates that organizationalcommitment, leadership, positive influence on employee performance and jobsatisfaction mediate organizational commitment and leadership on employeeperformance. The coefficient of determination shows that the work satifaction ofPT Madubaru Bantul Yogyakarta are influenced by organizational commitment,leadership and job satisfaction by 32.o%, while the remaining 68,0% areinfluenced by other variables in which the research did not examined in this study.The coefficient of determination shows that the employees performance of PTMadubaru Bantul Yogyakarta are influenced by organizational commitment,leadership and job satisfaction by 47,7%, while the remaining 52,3% areinfluenced by other variables in which the research did not examined in this studyKeywords : organizaitonal commitment, leadership, work satisfaction, andemployees performance
