Abstract

PT Putra Chandra Sentosa is a company engaged in food and packaging machinery. In the business process that runs in the customer service division, the process of recording service submissions by customer service is carried out using word processing software which has the potential for data accumulation and the search for information on service submissions to be slower. Customer service has difficulty dividing technicians' duties due to service status updates that are not real-time, and they have to wait for technicians to submit a letter of assignment after the visit. In addition to using conventional data processing, customers who complain about service results or technician attitudes make management feel they need feedback reports regarding customer satisfaction. This study aims to design a website that is useful to facilitate the search for service information, perform a balanced division of technician tasks and assist management in seeing customer satisfaction in the form of reports. The Helpdesk Ticketing website in this study has been developed using Website Development Life Cycle (WDLC) model with the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language, Unified Modeling Language (UML) notation and MySQL database. The PHP programming language is used in this research because various operating systems can run it via a browser. This research produces a Helpdesk Ticketing website that can answer the needs of the company PT Putra Chandra Sentosa. This research also proves that the website can optimize business processes in recording service submissions compared to using word processing software

Abstract

Abstract—Information is an essential element for organizations today. Confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information have a vital role in supporting organizational performance. Therefore, it is necessary to take information security measures so that the use of information can run effectively, efficiently, and integrated. The more valuable the information, the more security standards are needed to protect it. Among other things, the purpose of computer security is to protect information. The higher the security standards provided, the higher the protection of the privacy of that information. Protecting company employees' privacy is one factor that must be considered in the implementation of information systems. PT Telkomsel is one of the companies that experienced a data breach. This report will discuss nine hypotheses to determine the factors that affect Information System Security Behavior for employees of PT Telkomsel. Thus, validity, reliability, and hypothesis tests were carried out using the SmartPLS 3 software. The results showed a significant influence between the Security Education and Training variables on Information Security Awareness, Employee Accountability, and Employee Relationships. Abstract

— The Software Engineering and Information System Laboratory of Sriwijaya University is in charge of building a technology-based system, in accordance to the strategic objectives of Sriwijaya University which prioritizes the principles of Good governance. To support laboratory operations, a management information system is needed to improve efficiency in planning, managing and reporting. The purpose of this research is to develop a laboratory management information system that adheres to the principles in the SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard. The software was developed using the Framework for the Application System Thinking (FAST). In the requirement analysis phase, an in-depth study was carried out to formulate requirements in accordance with the principles in the SNI ISO/IEC 17025:2017 clause control standard. In the end, a Laboratory MIS was successfully developed using this approach. It improves laboratory performance, so that capable to provide better services

Abstract

Due to the prospects for financial gain, forex is always attractive to many people. However, because forex market analysis is not simple, a computer is needed to assist in creating predictions using features that are understandable to people. This study employs the Multilinear Regression technique to identify these kinds of features. The features and prediction target have a very strong correlation. With a very low RMSE and a very high R square, the prediction quality is quite outstanding. The outcome will help academics in the forex field use machine learning algorithms to make better predictions.

Abstract

As an obligatory application during the COVID-19 pandemic by Indonesians, PeduliLindungi must have provided outstanding quality services to its users. However, as of December 2021, users’ sentiment toward the quality and service of the PeduliLindungi application was still low, with an application rating of 3.6 out of 5 on the Google Play Store. This study uses text mining techniques for the Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA) task in the PeduliLindungi application review, a sentiment analysis task based on the aspect category of the application. This study aims to classify the users’ sentiment on aspects of the application and provide insight and knowledge to improve the quality of the PeduliLindungi application. The ABSA method used in this study is the classification of aspects and sentiments using the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm. The results showed that the CNN model could produce such good performance with an f1 score of 92.23% in the aspect classification and 95.13% in the sentiment classification. The results of user sentiment modelling showed the dominance of negative sentiment in the eight aspects of the application, namely Visual Experience, Scan – Check-in/Out, Vaccine Certificate, eHac, COVID Test, Register/Login, Performance and Stability, and Privacy, Data, and Security. Abstract

PT X is required to ensure that IT governance runs well. The maturity level of IT governance needs to be measured to determine what factors each company can improve on. The purpose of this study is to assess the level of capability of PT X, which will be measured using the COBIT 5.0 framework from ISACA, as well as to provide recommendations regarding governance and management of information technology that can build PT X. Measurements were carried out on BAI09 (Manage Assets) and DSS03 (Manage Problems). The results obtained are the BAI09 process and the DSS03 process both stop at Level 4 (Predictable Process), with an average value of 81.30% for the BAI09 process and an average value of 81.84% for the DSS03 process.

Abstract

PT Andalan Bunda Bijak is a company engaged in the distribution of baby equipment. In running its business, PT Andalan Bunda Bijak implements a system called MySoft to assist the company's business activities. The business development of the company has not fully run optimally. This is because there are still problems related to risk management (no SOP for handling problems, no division to handle problems, and no problem recording) and information security (no information security policy and no information security training). With this problem, it is necessary to measure the level of capability in corporate information technology governance. This study was conducted to analyze the level of corporate information technology governance capability using the COBIT 5 framework. This study uses 3 domains (EDM, APO, and DSS) and 4 processes (EDM03, APO12, APO13, and DSS05) obtained from the mapping results of PT Andalan Bunda Bijak's vision, mission, goals, and strategies for the problems faced by the company. Data was collected by interviewing the company's operational leaders and managers and observing the systems, documents, and company environment. The results of this study determined that each process was at level 1 (performed process). There is a gap of 1 level between the level of capability of the company's current state and the level of capability of the company's expectations. There are 28 recommendations for improvement given to the company.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to carry out and understand the evaluation of the success rate on SAP Business One, and the results of the evaluation are developed into the configuration and customization activities of the Odoo ver 15.0 open-source ERP system, because they do not have access rights to perform customization in the SAP Business One system. As a result, Odoo is one of the open-source ERP systems that can accommodate research recommendations and outcomes. The goal of this research is to determine the issues that arise throughout the company's use of the SAP Business One system. It is then anticipated to be a solution to company difficulties and to suit the firm's needs.

Abstract

Web Ultima Infosys is one of the websites owned by Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN) which contains a collection of journals majoring in information systems. Based on the results of a survey conducted on the use of the Ultima Infosys website for information system students, many students feel that the appearance of the website is lacking or difficult to use. Especially in journal search and journal submission. Therefore, the usability evaluation of the Ultima Infosys web was carried out. The method used in this research is a usability test and system usability scale (SUS). Where the researcher will evaluate using questionnaires and interviews. The results of the questionnaire were measured using SUS. Based on the results of the evaluation score that has been measured by SUS, the result is a score of 50.25. Knowing that the score is below the average, a recommendation for improvement is made in the form of a recommendation mockup. After re-testing and measuring using SUS, the mockup of the recommendation results got a value above the average of 81,265. Thus, it can be concluded that the mockup of the recommendations proved to be easier to understand and use by users.

Abstract

The Laboratory of Software Engineering and Information Systems at Sriwijaya University is one of the services or learning media for students provided by Sriwijaya University. In order to support operational activities and good laboratory governance, a good management information system is needed. However, the adoption of new technology has some dificulties. It is necessary to know the level of readiness to accept new technology and one method to measure the level of readiness to accept new technology is the Technology Readiness Index (TRI). This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to lecturers, structural laboratories and regular students of the 2018-2019 fasilkom. Data was processed using the Technology Readiness Index method by dividing the number of statements per variable by the variable weight. Then, the average total score for each statement is multiplied by the variable weight and the TRI value is obtained by adding up the scores of all variables. The results of this study found that the level of user readiness is included in High Technology Readiness with a score of 3.76. The Optimism value contributes the largest value to the total TRI value of the other variables, namely 1.010018. Then followed by Innovativeness of 0.986842, Discomfort of 0.917793 and Insecurity of 0.848009.
