Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance measurement of lecturers at STKIP Yayasan Abdi Pendidikan in the fields of teaching, research, and community service. The method used is a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that although lecturers have carried out tridharma activities according to their workload, there are still shortcomings in performance measurement, especially in terms of data validity and the inconsistency of research or community service with the scientific field. In addition, there are no performance indicators that explicitly support the achievement of the institution's vision and mission. By using the Guidance Scorecard, the relationship between lecturer performance indicators and the institution's strategic goals is analyzed, which shows the importance of strengthening the lecturer performance evaluation system based on relevant indicators and integrated with the institution's strategic direction.  Keywords: Lecturer Performance, Guidance Scorecard, Performance Measurement

Abstract

The decision to purchase a product or service is not an isolated act; it is the result of a long process influenced by various internal and external factors. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of culture and personality on purchasing decisions. This study employed a quantitative associative method, utilizing primary data, and a sample of 30 individuals. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression. The results demonstrate that the cultural factor (X1) has a positive influence on purchasing decisions of 0.233, while the personality factor (X2) has a positive influence of 0.160. The coefficient of determination of 0.813 demonstrates that in addition to their independent influence, the cultural variable (X1) and personality variable (X2) also have a joint influence on purchasing decisions. These findings suggest that understanding consumer culture and personality is necessary for developing effective marketing strategies.   Keywords: Culture, Personality, Consumer Behavior, Purchasing Decisions

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of compensation, workload, and work environment on individual commitment, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable, among contract employees at the Regional Secretariat of Boven Digoel Regency. The research employs a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 100 contract employees selected through stratified random sampling. Data analysis is conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with SmartPLS software. The results indicate that compensation, workload, and work environment significantly and positively influence individual commitment. Furthermore, job satisfaction serves as an intervening variable in the relationship between compensation, workload, and work environment with individual commitment. Hence, appropriate compensation, balanced workloads, and a conducive work environment can enhance job satisfaction, ultimately strengthening the individual commitment of contract employees. These findings provide implications for policymakers at the Regional Secretariat of Boven Digoel Regency in enhancing employee welfare and loyalty through more effective human resource management policies.   Keywords: Compensation, Workload, Work Environment, Job Satisfaction, Individual Commitment

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the principal's participatory leadership style on the involvement and effectiveness of teacher performance in schools. There are several types of leadership styles, one of which is participatory leadership style. This leadership style provides space for subordinates to participate more in making a decision. Subordinates' opinions are listened to, of course, if they provide new views and are in accordance with the goals to be achieved. The relationship between superiors and subordinates is very friendly and warm and there is no authoritarian atmosphere. Teacher involvement is an important aspect that includes various dimensions, from active participation in work to roles in decision-making in schools. Factors that influence the effectiveness of teacher performance are ability, motivation, environmental conditions and opportunities. This study uses a literature review approach. The conclusion is that various previous studies strengthen this finding, showing the influence of the principal's participatory leadership style on the involvement and effectiveness of teacher performance in the school environment.  Keywords: Teacher Performance Effectiveness, Participatory Leadership Style, Involvement

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the work discipline of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Lekok District Office, considering the importance of discipline in improving the performance of the apparatus and the quality of public services. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with a focus on collecting and describing detailed data on the level of work discipline. The results of the study indicate that in general, the level of discipline of ASN at the Lekok District Office is quite good, especially in terms of punctual attendance, utilization of working hours, and compliance with home hours and not being absent. Although there are several obstacles such as delays and sudden tasks, this does not significantly affect productivity. This study contributes to the understanding of the dynamics of work discipline in the sub-district government environment and can be the basis for a more effective strategy for developing improvements in apparatus performance.   Keywords: ASN Performance, State Apparatus, Work Discipline

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work discipline and work motivation on teacher performance with academic supervision moderation on private vocational high school teachers in Mijen District, Semarang City. This type of research is explanatory research. The results of the study, Work discipline, has a coefficient of 0.298 with a t value of 2.624 and a significance of 0.010. This shows that work discipline has a significant positive effect on teacher performance. Work Motivation, has a coefficient of 0.269 with a t value of 4.483 and a significance of 0.000. This shows that work motivation also has a very significant positive effect on teacher performance. Academic Supervision does not moderate the effect of work discipline and is not significant on teacher performance, and Academic supervision moderates the effect of work motivation and has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Conclusion, work discipline and work motivation have a positive effect on teacher performance, while academic supervision is not a moderating factor that influences work discipline and motivation on teacher performance.   Keywords: Work Discipline, Teacher Performance, Academic Supervision Moderation, Work Motivation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze digital asset management during the inventory process at the Pasuruan Regency Manpower Office to improve efficiency and accountability. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on asset governance and the inhibiting factors in the implementation of a digital-based asset management system. The results show that the implementation of a digital system through SIDIA and E-Inventory supports real-time asset recording, verification, monitoring, and disposal, with an audit trail feature that strengthens transparency and accountability. Although obstacles remain related to reliance on physical documents and human resource adaptation. The study concludes that asset management at the Pasuruan Regency Manpower Office has transformed significantly toward an efficient and integrated digital system. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of waste collection services provided by the Lekok Asri Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDesma) in the coastal area of Wates Village, Lekok District, Pasuruan Regency. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document study. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results indicate that waste collection services are generally well-organized and cover the entire area. However, their effectiveness is hampered by inaccurate collection times, limited manpower, road access constraints, and minimal response to public complaints. The study's conclusions emphasize that improving the effectiveness of waste collection services requires additional manpower, strengthening the monitoring system, improving coordination between relevant parties, and optimizing infrastructure to ensure more consistent and sustainable service delivery.   Keywords: Service Effectiveness, Waste Collection, Bumdesma, Waste Management

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) policy based on Regional Regulation No. 05 of 2016 in Pejangkungan Village, and to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, as well as data analysis of the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of PTSP has brought positive changes to the pattern of public services, marked by a good understanding of regulations, the preparation of SOPs, and commitment from village officials. However, its implementation still faces obstacles, such as limited human resources, minimal technical training, inadequate infrastructure, and weak evaluation and monitoring systems. The conclusion shows that although the implementation of the policy is quite effective in changing the service system to be more structured and efficient, strategies are needed to strengthen the capacity of the apparatus, utilize technology, and provide ongoing support from the local government so that the policy implementation runs optimally.   Keywords: Policy Implementation, Public Services, Village, One-Stop Integrated Service, Resources

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate both the successes and weaknesses of the implementation of Character Education Strengthening (Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter/PPK) in elementary schools in building students' character. The research method used is meta-analysis through a systematic literature review. This method was chosen because the primary studies reviewed in this research employed a qualitative approach. The study concludes that: (1) PPK is clearly defined in terms of its legal basis, concepts, objectives, and implementation strategies; (2) teachers and education personnel in elementary schools tend to have a limited understanding of the concept and implementation strategies of PPK; (3) elementary schools' readiness to implement PPK is generally still at the planning stage; and (4) the implementation of PPK has not yet produced the expected outcomes.
