Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality and investigator attitudes on public satisfaction, with public trust as an intervening variable in the Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Nunukan Police. The research method used a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design. The study population consisted of 390 public complaint reports from 2024 to April 2025, with a sample of 197 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and proportional random sampling technique from six police stations. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing (t-test and F-test), and the Variance Accounted For (VAF) mediation test. The results showed that service quality had a positive and significant effect on public trust and satisfaction. Service attitude did not have a significant effect on public trust, but a positive and significant effect on public satisfaction. Public trust had a negative and significant effect on public satisfaction. Furthermore, public trust did not mediate the effect of service quality on public satisfaction, but partially mediated the effect of service attitude on public satisfaction. The study's conclusions indicate that in the context of border areas, the quality of technical services is a key factor in building public satisfaction, while high levels of public trust can lead to excessive expectations, potentially lowering public satisfaction with police services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Public Service Motivation (PSM) on the performance of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) by considering the role of functional positions as a mediating variable in ASN at the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of North Sumatra Province. The research method used was a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Data were collected through a survey using a structured questionnaire measured on a Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 4. The results showed that PSM had a positive and significant effect on functional positions (β = 0.636; p < 0.001), PSM had a positive and significant effect on ASN performance (β = 0.660; p < 0.001), and functional positions had a positive and significant effect on ASN performance (β = 0.257; p = 0.001). Testing for indirect effects indicates that functional positions partially mediate the influence of PSM on ASN performance (β = 0.163; p = 0.001). Furthermore, the research model has strong explanatory power, with an R² value of 0.716 for the ASN performance variable. The conclusion of this study is that Public Service Motivation is the primary factor driving improved ASN performance, both directly and through institutional mechanisms such as functional positions. Therefore, strengthening public service motivation and optimizing the functional position system need to be synergistically implemented to improve the performance of public sector organizations.  Keywords: Public Service Motivation, ASN Performance, Functional Position, Mediation

Abstract

is study aims to analyze the business development of the Gendar Benang Raja Crackers MSME in Bogor Regency using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) approach and SWOT analysis to formulate a sustainable business development strategy. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through direct observation and in-depth interviews with business owners. Data analysis was carried out by mapping the nine elements of the Business Model Canvas, identifying internal and external factors through SWOT analysis, and compiling the IFAS, EFAS, SWOT, and Internal-External (IE) Matrix. The results of the study indicate that the Gendar Benang Raja Crackers MSME has the main strengths of a distinctive traditional taste, affordable prices, the use of raw materials without harmful preservatives, and good relationships with customers. On the other hand, weaknesses found include limited product innovation, unattractive packaging, low digital marketing, limited production capacity, and unstructured business management. Business development opportunities are supported by increasing public interest in traditional products, the development of digital technology, partnership opportunities, and government support for MSMEs. The IFAS analysis results obtained a score of 2.48 and EFAS of 2.59, placing the MSME in Quadrant V of the IE Matrix with a hold and maintain strategy. Recommended strategies include increasing digital marketing, product and packaging innovation, strengthening business partnerships, increasing production capacity, and improving financial management and recording systems. The conclusion is that the integration of the Business Model Canvas and SWOT analysis can provide a comprehensive picture of the internal and external conditions of MSMEs and serve as a basis for formulating adaptive and sustainable business development strategies.  Keywords: Business Model Canvas, Business Development, Business Strategy

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how school administrative management through the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) function can support the standardization process of Child-Friendly Schools (SRA) at Fransiskus Elementary School, Kalirejo, Central Lampung. The research method used was a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data were then analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The results showed that the implementation of the planning function was aligned with the school's vision and mission and SRA regulations. Organization was carried out through the formation of a decree-based SRA Team structure with a clear division of roles. Implementation (actuation) was characterized by instructional leadership and positive discipline, as well as stakeholder involvement. Controlling was carried out through participatory audits, supervision based on child-friendly indicators, and an effective complaint system. Overall, POAC-based administrative management proved to be a key foundation for the institutionalization of SRA, although challenges remain in the digitalization of administration. The conclusion of this study is that the success of Child-Friendly School standardization is largely determined by the strength of an integrated, adaptive, and child-protection-based school administration system, which needs to be strengthened through digitalization and system enhancements that are not dependent on individuals.                                       Keywords: School Administration, Management, Child-Friendly Schools, Standardization

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of individual characteristics and employee learning on digital performance, with dynamic capabilities as a mediating variable, focusing on financial managers using the SAKTI application at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Central Java. This research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing path analysis on a sample of 80 respondents. The results indicate that individual characteristics have a positive and significant effect on digital performance, whereas employee learning does not. Both individual characteristics and employee learning are found to have a positive and significant impact on dynamic capabilities. However, dynamic capabilities do not affect digital performance and fail to mediate the influence of either individual characteristics or employee learning on digital performance. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening individual characteristics and relevant learning to support capability development, even though dynamic capabilities have not been proven to directly enhance digital performance in the context of SAKTI application implementation.   Keywords: Individual Characteristics, Employee Learning, Dynamic Capabilities, Employee Digital Performance
