Abstract

This study aims to reconceptualize analytical capacity as a competency framework capable of supporting the management of complex education systems through the integration of complexity theory and Islamic values-based education management. The research method used was a systematic literature review, which examined reputable articles indexed in Scopus using structured identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion procedures. Data were analyzed through thematic and configurative synthesis to identify patterns, themes, and relationships between the complexity of education systems, analytical capacity, leadership, education policy, and Islamic education governance. The results indicate that analytical capacity can no longer be understood solely as the technical ability to read data, but rather as a structured competency framework encompassing critical thinking, data literacy, systems thinking, modeling, and decision-making in uncertain situations. The findings also indicate that analytical capacity can be systematically developed through contextual, collaborative, and reflective training. However, a research gap remains regarding the application of complexity theory in Islamic education management. The conclusion of this study confirms that the integration of complexity theory and Islamic value-based educational management can strengthen adaptive, ethical, and sustainable educational governance, making analytical capacity a crucial foundation for leadership and decision-making in navigating the increasingly complex dynamics of the education system.   Keywords: Analytical Capacity, Educational Complexity, Islamic Educational Management

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation, work discipline, and learning agility on the operational performance of firefighters in Cirebon Regency. The research method used was a quantitative explanatory method with a census technique (total sampling) of 160 firefighters spread across 11 Technical Implementation Units (UPT) in Cirebon Regency. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, the classical assumption test, the coefficient of determination test, the t-test, and the F-test. The results showed that work motivation had a positive and significant effect on operational performance with a regression coefficient of 0.320 and a significance value <0.001. Work discipline had a positive and significant effect with a regression coefficient of 0.913 and a significance value <0.001 and was the most dominant variable. While learning agility had a positive and significant effect with a regression coefficient of 0.208 and a significance value of 0.025. Simultaneously, work motivation, work discipline, and learning agility had a positive and significant effect on operational performance, with an F-value of 252.947 and a significance level of <0.001. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.829 indicates that 82.9% of the variation in operational performance can be explained by these three variables. The conclusion of this study is that work motivation, work discipline, and learning agility are important factors in improving the operational performance of firefighters, with work discipline being the most dominant factor.   Keywords: Work Motivation, Work Discipline, Learning Agility, Operational Performance, Firefighters

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the role of the madrasah principal in religious activities at MTsS Raudhatul Jannah Kotabaru, including aspects of planning, implementation, supervision, evaluation, factors influencing the implementation of religious activities, and their impact on the formation of students' religious character. The research method used was a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the madrasah principal, teachers, administrative staff, and students. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively through the stages of editing, classification, data presentation, and inductive conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the madrasah principal plays a very strategic role in the implementation of religious activities through establishing a vision and mission oriented towards the formation of religious character, developing a religious activity program, providing moral and material support, and implementing ongoing monitoring and evaluation. The implementation of religious activities is influenced by internal factors such as students' religious motivation, discipline, and coordination among madrasah members, as well as external factors such as support from teachers, parents, the community, and the availability of supporting facilities. Congregational Dzuhur and Dhuha prayers have a positive impact on improving students' discipline, responsibility, togetherness, and character development. The conclusion of this study indicates that the role of the madrasah principal is crucial to the success of religious activities in shaping students' religious character through sound planning, ongoing support, and an effective monitoring and evaluation system.   Keywords: Evaluation, Religious Activities, Religious Character, Leadership

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of involvement, consistency, adaptability, and mission on employee performance at the Pematangsiantar State Asset and Auction Service Office (KPKNL). The research method used a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to all 34 permanent employees. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results showed that all independent variables—involvement, consistency, adaptability, and mission—had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with the mission variable having the most dominant influence. An R-square value of 0.825 indicates that these four variables explained 82.5% of the variation in employee performance. The conclusion of this study is that involvement, consistency, adaptability, and mission are important factors that simultaneously play a strategic role in improving employee performance at the Pematangsiantar KPKNL.   Keywords: Adaptation, Employee Performance, Involvement, Consistency

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and work environment on employee performance, as well as to examine the role of work motivation as an intervening variable in these relationships among disturbance service personnel at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Kudus Kota. This research employs a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires and analyzing it using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with SmartPLS software. The population consists of 75 disturbance service personnel, and the sampling technique uses total sampling. After data screening to avoid bias, 74 respondents were included in the analysis. Data analysis includes outer model and inner model testing to examine the relationships among variables. The results show that transformational leadership does not have a direct effect on employee performance, while the work environment has a positive and significant effect on performance. Transformational leadership and work environment both have a positive effect on work motivation, and work motivation positively affects employee performance. Furthermore, work motivation is proven to mediate the relationship between transformational leadership and work environment on employee performance. The study concludes that improving employee performance is more effectively achieved through creating a conducive work environment and enhancing work motivation, while transformational leadership plays an indirect role through increasing work motivation.   Keywords: Transformational Leadership, Work Environment, Work Motivation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT Akuamarin Indonesia Raya. The research method used is a quantitative method with an explanatory approach. The study population consisted of 154 employees, and the entire population was sampled using a census technique (saturated sampling). Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS. The results show that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a calculated t-value of 7.881 and a regression coefficient of 0.503. Job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a calculated t-value of 5.311 and a regression coefficient of 0.549. Simultaneously, the work environment and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with an F-value of 272.279 and a significance level <0.001. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.783 indicates that 78.3% of the variation in employee performance can be explained by the work environment and job satisfaction. The conclusion of this study indicates that the work environment and job satisfaction are important factors that can improve employee performance, with the work environment having a more dominant influence than job satisfaction on employees at PT Akuamarin Indonesia Raya.  Keywords: Work Environment, Job Satisfaction, Employee Performance, Human Resources
