Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa dan mengetahui sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika yang menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematik siswa SDIT Madani Cilegon kelas 5 yang menggunakan pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) mempunyai pengaruh dan lebih baik dari yang tanpa menggunakan pendekatan tersebut, hal ini berdasarkan hasil dari pretes kelas eksperimen 55,45 dan postes kelas eksperimen 69,9 serta hasil pretes kelas kontrol 54 dan postes kelas kontrol 63,5, begitupun dari hasil angket siswa yang rata-rata persentasenya diatas 80% menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika

Abstract

Guru memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam mengkondisikan suasana pembelajaran, sehingga guru dan siswa dapat secara bersama-sama dalam proses belajar mengajar yang kondusif sehingga tujuan dari pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang benda-benda yang ada di sekitar kita atau fenomena alam dan gejala yang menyertainya. Dalam proses pembelajaran IPA dari dulu sampai sekarang dipandang menjadi sesuatu yang sulit, padahal IPA mempelajari hal-hal yang dapat dilihat, dirasakan dan dipikirkan. Kesulitan siswa dalam mempelajari IPA paling tidak ditentukan oleh dua faktor yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Tulisan ini bertujuan membantu guru dalam menentukan sebuah model pembelajaran IPA sehingga kesulitan belajar siswa dalam mempelajari IPA dapat diatasi. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang bisa dijadikan rujukan adalah model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E yaitu suatu model pembelajaran yang memungkinkan siswa menemukan konsep sendiri atau memantapkan konsep yang dipelajari, mencegah terjadinya kesalahan konsep, dan memberikan peluang kepada siswa untuk menerapkan konsep-konsep yang telah dipelajari pada situasi baru. Learning Cycle 5E meliputi 5 tahapan, yaitu engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, dan evaluation.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low basic multiplication ability at MI Tarbiyatul Mubtadiin. This is due to the lack of learning media and learning is also dominated by the teacher. So student activities are limited which results in low ability in basic multiplication. Therefore, this research was conducted to improve the ability in multiplication at the basic level using the Congklak-matika game media with a sample of 8 students. This research method uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle has four phases consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques in the form of tests and observations and interviews. The results showed that the students' multiplication ability increased in each cycle. The increase was based on the acquisition of students' numeracy test results. this is evidenced in the first cycle the students' multiplication ability, which is 37.5%, is categorized as lacking and in the second cycle, the students' multiplication ability, which is 87.5%, is categorized as good and it is stated that the basic level multiplication learning through the congklak-matika game has reached the minimum completeness criteria or is declared successful. Therefore, the results of this study prove that the application of the Congklak-matika game media is able to improve students' abilities in mathematics subjects in the basic multiplication material for class 3 MI Tarbiyatul Mubtadiin so that the Congklak-matika game can be used as a learning medium

Abstract

Permasalahan pembelajaran IPS di SDN Kubang Puji I adalah kurangnya minat belajar siswa dalam mengikuti proses belajar mengajar dan siswa mudah jenuh di saat proses belajar mengajar berlangsung oleh karena itu hasil belajar siswa kurang maksimal. Hal tersebut disebabkan penggunaan media yang kurang optimal dan proses pembelajaran yang monoton sehingga siswa merasa jenuh dalam mengikuti proses kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dari permasalahan tersebut peneliti ingin memecahkan masalah tentang kurangnya media pembelajaran sebagai pendukung pada proses belajar mengajar dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran siswa dapat mengoptimalkan media pembelajaran yang ada karena media juga sangat berpengaruh pada proses belajar mengajar sehingga diharapkan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran secara optimal dapat meningkatkan terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa aktivitas pembelajaran guru pada siklus I sebesar (76%), pada siklus II sebesar (90%), dan terjadi peningkatan sebesar (14%), antara siklus I sampai siklus II. Aktivitas pembelajaran siswa pada siklus I sebesar (75,25%), pada siklus II sebesar (85%), dan terjadi peningkatan sebesar (9,75%), hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar (16,91%), pada siklus II sebesar (21,33%), dan terjadi peningkatan sebesar (44,2%) antara siklus I dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kondisi geografis lingkungan sekitar, menggunakan media pembelajaran peta dan kompas. Dengan demikian media pembelajaran peta dan kompas dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS pada materi kondisi geografis lingkungan sekitar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine differences in increasing understanding of mathematical concepts between students who learn using a contextual mathematics approach and students who use conventional learning. The quasi-experimental method was chosen with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample is the fourth-grade students of East Bekasi Elementary School, Bekasi City, West Java. Mathematical understanding tests, observation sheets, and interview guides are the instruments used. Data obtained from interviews and observations were analysed descriptively to determine students' responses to learning and see the implementation of learning and students' activities in learning. Data on students' understanding of mathematical concepts were examined through descriptive statistics and inferential statistical tests to calculate the effect size. The results of the study show that there is a significant difference in increasing understanding of mathematical concepts between students who are treated with contextual mathematics learning and students who take conventional mathematics learning. No interaction was found between learning factors and school level on increasing understanding of mathematical concepts. The results of the calculation of the effect size confirm that the effect size of the study can be categorized as a large criterion

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in students' understanding through the development of flipbook-based learning media on plant body parts in grade IV of elementary school. This study uses Research and Development (R&D) research using the ADDIE model which includes 4 stages: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate. The type of data in this study is in the form of quantitative data and qualitative data. The data used in this study are in the form of primary data and secondary data. This research will be conducted on fourth grade students at SDN Tegal Ratu. The instruments used as product data collection tools were validation sheets by media experts, material experts, learning outcomes instrument grids, and learning outcomes instruments by experts, as well as a Likert scale. The data analysis technique is the result of the test questions (pre-test and post-test) and tested with the paired sample test in SPSS. The results of this study resulted in the feasibility and effectiveness of developing flipbook media towards increasing students' understanding of plant body parts material marked by achieving a KKM score of > 75 after using flipbook media as a learning medium.

Abstract

Learning difficulties (learning disabilities) are one of the obstacles that children with special needs experience in their learning process. So that children with special needs may have their learning rights realized and not disrupt the learning process for other typical kids, the government implemented an inclusive program in public schools. The purpose of this study is to describe the learning conditions implemented for students with learning disabilities and explain the learning strategies carried out by teachers for students with learning disabilities in inclusive schools. This study used a qualitative research method with a case study approach, conducting an in-depth study of learning strategies for students with learning disabilities at Public Elementary School (SD) 01 Bojongsari Depok. The three stages of data analysis carried out by researchers are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the learning conditions of students with learning disabilities were that they lacked focus during learning and their attention was easily distracted. They were not yet independent and had difficulty in counting, spelling, reading, or writing. Learning strategies carried out by teachers in dealing with students with learning disabilities in Elementary School (SD) Negeri 01 Bojongsari Depok, such as using an adaptive curriculum approach, special services with learning methods (auditory-visual, repetition of regular class material, question and answer, and remedial), reducing the level of difficulty of questions and material as well as minimum completeness criteria, and selection of special learning media for students with learning disabilities such as word cards, blocks of numbers and letters, miniature fruits or animals, and others.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the development procedures, feasibility and effectiveness of comic book learning media to improve HOTS abilities in class V science learning at SD Negeri Batuceper 1. This type of research is research and development with the ADDIE model through 5 stages namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires, test results and documentation. Data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative and descriptive quantitative. Based on the results of the due diligence, the media expert obtained a percentage of 90.76% and the results of the due diligence of the material expert obtained a percentage of 91.66%, both of which were included in the very feasible criteria. The average result of the feasibility test obtained a percentage of 98.90% which was included in the very feasible criteria to be tested in the field. Meanwhile, the results of the effectiveness test using the results of the pretest and posttest tests in the field test to get a score 0.70 ≤ (g) ≤ 1.00 which is 0.82 included in the high criteria. Based on the results of the feasibility and effectiveness of comic book learning media to improve students' HOTS abilities, it is feasible and effective to be used in helping students' understanding, attracting students' attention and interest in learning and hone students' thinking skills in science learning at SD Negeri Batuceper 1 Tangerang City.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by various problems that occur in students 'soccer games, including the frequent loose balls in their control, the students' ability to process low movements such as agility, flexibility, balance, speed and others. This study aims to see the effect of Small Sided Games Training on Dribbling Ability in Football Games in elementary school students who take extracurricular soccer training. The design of this study was the experimental randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population consisted of 20 elementary school students in Sukamaju 2, Labuan sub-district. Pupolation was divided into two groups randomly, where the experimental group was given small side game exercises while the control group continued to do exercises using conventional methods. Each group received a test before and after treatment. This research was conducted using t-test analysis with analysis using the SPSS statistical program. This hypothesis testing was conducted to determine the effect of small sided games training on dribbling skills in soccer games among students at SD Negeri Sukamaju 2, Labuan District, Pandeglang Regency. Based on the results of the analysis evidenced by the calculated significance value in the t test of the pretest and posttest groups, the result was 11,895 with sig. 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 (sig <0.05), therefore it can be stated that small side game practice can improve students' ball dribbling skills in playing soccer well. Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of using the guided inquiry model with audio-visual assistance on cognitive learning outcomes of social studies class IV of elementary school on the theme of my hero and to find out how much influence the guided inquiry model with the assistance of audio-visual media has on cognitive learning outcomes. The research uses a quantitative approach, quasi-experimental design method, and non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was 11 elementary schools in North Singkawang District, whose accreditation was B. The experiment was carried out on samples that were selected at simple random. The selected sample is SDN 82 Singkawang. The data collection instrument in the form of essay questions is used to measure knowledge (cognitive) abilities. Of the 10 questions, the results of the validity test were 8 questions having moderate validity and 2 questions having very high validity with a reliability level of 0.752. Data were tested and analyzed using the t-test and effect size. The results of data processing show that: (1) There are differences in social studies learning outcomes of experimental and comparison class students with t-test> ttable, namely 4.717 > 2,01 ; (2) The model in the experimental class has a high effect on cognitive learning outcomes in student social studies learning 1.65 (high criterion). So it can be concluded that the audio-visual assisted guided inquiry model is effective in increasing cognitive learning outcomes in social studies learning for fourth-grade elementary school students
