Abstract

This research is motivated by the condition of students in choosing professional ideals. They have minimal description of the various professions, the more science and technology develops, the more types of work and professions develop. Through this Serang Inspiration Class (KI) movement, students will see first-hand various interesting professions to aspire to. Character education in the 2019 Serang Inspiration Class movement is a qualitative field of research. This study describes, identifies, and qualitatively analyzes character education in the 2019 Serang Inspiration Class movement activities. The 2019 Serang Inspiration Class movement is a movement in the world of education with the concept of introducing various professions by presenting these professional figures directly in front of students. elementary level. The subjects in the study were 10 elementary schools in the Anyar sub-district, Serang district, which were the targets of the 2019 Serang KI after going through the survey stage by committee volunteers. There are about 220 volunteers who work directly with various professions. The object of this research is the inspirational class movement and character education. Then the main instrument in this study was the direct researcher involved in the activity as the organizing committee. While the analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model. The character education values ​​that emerged in the implementation of KI Serang 2019 were 98 divided into 5 domains, namely: 1) Characters related to God (religious), 2) Characters related to oneself (honest, disciplined, hard-working, creative, independent, curiosity, fond of reading, responsibility), 3) Characters related to fellow human beings (tolerance, democratic, peace-loving, friendly/communicative, appreciating achievement), 4) Characters related to nationality (love for the motherland), 5) Character related to the environment (environmental care, social care).

Abstract

Reading skill is an important ability for elementary school students to help understand the subject matter, communicate skills and solve problems that involve understanding, analyzing, and introducing concepts. The aim of the research is to provide an understanding for teachers in diagnosing dyslexic students, namely students who have difficulty reading so that their reading ability can be maximized through multisensory methods. The research was conducted on second-grade students at Margaluyu Public Elementary School, Serang City, involving four dyslexic students and one teacher. The research method uses descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques using the Huberman and Milles model through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion or verification at the end. Data collection instruments used interview sheets, field notes, literature review, and analysis of treatment results documents. Based on the results of the study it was found that the multisensory method has effectively improved dyslexic reading skills in a systematic, direct, and explicit instructional manner by utilizing sensory functions related to visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile. The increase in ability is evidenced in the results of the screening value which increased by 60% after the multisensory method was implemented. The multi-sensory method is very helpful in developing reading skills for dyslexic students, especially for students who have difficulty pronouncing certain letters

Abstract

Children with Special Needs (ABK) in 4th grade at SDN Srengseng 04 West Jakarta have difficulty comprehending the material area and perimeter of geometric shapes. The study objective is to point out the contributing factors to these difficulties. This kind of examination is subjective with an elucidating approach. The methods of gathering data are Interviews, documentation, and observation. According to the findings, there are four categories of learning difficulties: learning disorders, learning disabilities, underachievers, and slow learners. Other factors that contribute to learning difficulties can be broadly separated into two kinds: internal factors and external factors. Physical and spiritual factors are internal factors, while family, school, and social environmental factors or the community around them are external factors. Two children with special needs were found to be slow learners and to have IQs that were below average, so the factors that influenced them were looked at. Additionally, it is hoped that, now that the causes of learning difficulties have been identified, the family and the school can come up with effective solutions

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal parental guidance strategies for elementary school children in wise social media. This type of research is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The data was obtained in this study using interviews and observation. This research was conducted in the village of Wawai substation located in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. This research was conducted in February-March 2023. In-depth interviews were conducted with 3 parents whose children attended Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 13 Hulu Sungai Tengah. The data collected was then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana models through the stages of condensing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. The formulation of the problem in this study is what are the strategies of parents in guiding their children to wise social media and the negative and positive impacts what happens in using social media itself. The results of this study indicate that elementary school-age children still need adequate supervision in using social media, so they can use it properly and correctly. Parents are influential figures in children's lives, for this reason, it is necessary to optimize their role as mentors in all areas of their children's lives, including in social media. The guidance strategy given by parents to their children for wise social media can be done by: (1) time management, namely setting time limits for using social media, (2) monitoring, namely parents accompanying, monitoring, and accompanying children when using social media, and (3) explanation, namely explaining to children what the benefits and risks are when using social media. There are 2 negative impacts of social media, they are addiction and lack of physical activity. While the 2 positive impacts are easy access to information and learning to be creative.

Abstract

The formation of the character of students can be done through habituation or school culture as it has become the grand design of character education. School culture plays an important role in instilling character education values, especially in schools. This study aims to determine the effect of habituation of Al-Qur'an tadarus on the religious character cultivation of students at SDN Brangol 1. This research uses quantitative methods with ex post facto techniques. The population in this study were all students of SDN Brangol 1, totaling 78 people, and the sample of this study was 26 people using a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire prepared by the researcher. Hypothesis analysis of this study uses a simple linear regression test. Because the value of to 3.522 > tt 2.064, it can be concluded that the habit of reciting the Al-Qur'an affects the religious character of students at SDN Brangol 1.

Abstract

Pendidikan IPA selama ini lebih banyak berlangsung secara teks book, hal ini menyebabkan pembelajaran menjadi tidak ber-makna, peserta didik tercerabut dari kehidupan nyata, dan pada akhirnya pendidikan tidak mampu memberikan bekal keterampilan proses sains kepada peserta didik. Pendekatan STM menghajatkan agar pembelajaran yang berlangsung di dalam kelas senantiasa bersesuaian dengan perkembangan yang terjadi di masyarakat. Sesuai dengan objek kajian IPA yaitu segala fenomena alam, maka semestinya pendidikan IPA dengan menggunakan pendekatan STM diharapkan mampu membekali peserta didik dengan keterampilan proses sains

Abstract

Berkaitan dengan pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia diarah-kan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam berkomunikasi dan mengekspresikan diri melalui bahasa tulisan yakni menulis surat. Menulis surat merupakan keterampilan yang membutuhkan kompetensi yang komplek yakni memadukan kemampuan menu-angkan ide dan kemampuan menggunakan bahasa yang benar. Oleh karenanya penulisan surat harus mengikuti aturan-aturan yang ada yaitu memperhatikan unsur-unsur surat, menggunakan bahasa yang baik dan benar, meletakkan tanda baca dengan benar. Hal ini bertujuan agar surat menjadi bermakna dan mudah dimengerti oleh pembaca. Untuk itu pembelajaran dengan meng-gunakan metode Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) diharap-kan dapat membuat siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran dan siswa harus sering dilatih kemampuan menulis suratnya agar mampu berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi dengan lingkungannya terutama dengan teman sebayanya. Hasil dari studi ini sebagai berikut: 1) Setelah mengguna-kan metode Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) pada materi Menulis Surat untuk Teman Sebaya, siswa lebih tertarik, aktif dan suasana belajar lebih efektif sehingga pembe-lajaran pun lebih menarik, menyenangkan 2) Penerapan metode Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran siswa kelas IV pada pokok bahasan Menulis Surat untuk Teman Sebaya, dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata siswa pada pra siklus (51,76), siklus I (66,17), siklus II (80,29) dengan ketuntasan belajar siswa 100%. Hal ini karena siswa menerapkan metode CTL dengan baik dan siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran sehingga hasil yang diharapkan tercapai secara optimal

Abstract

Measure activity, assess, and evaluate it is important in education. This is not independent because it is a cycle of activities required to determine the extent of educational achievement has been accomplished. For example in the evaluation of student lear-ning outcomes assessment, the measurement and assessment activities is the first step in the evaluation process. Activity mea-surements made are usually stated in various forms of tests and this is the most widely used. However, the test is not the only tool in the process of measurement, assessment, and evaluation of education because there are other techniques that technique non tes. Non-test technique is usually done by way of interviews, dis-tributing questionnaires, observations, performance, project work, a biography. In the evaluation of learning outcomes assess-ment, this technique is usually used to measure the affective and psychomotor domains, whereas the test technique used to mea-sure the cognitive domain

Abstract

The Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) is one of the newest forms of assessment issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture. AKM is designed to measure student achievement from cognitive learning outcomes, namely reading literacy and numeracy. Numerical ability is related to the application of basic knowledge and mathematical principles and processes in everyday life. Agriculture is one of the fields that apply the basis, concepts, principles and processes of mathematics in its use. Then tourism which is part of local wisdom can develop knowledge, problem solving and student character. This study aims to develop numeracy questions that are used to measure cognitive aspects in the form of numeracy abilities of elementary school (SD) students through AKM. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method. The steps in developing the assessment instrument are (1) compiling test specifications, (2) writing questions, (3) examining the contents of the questions, (4) improving the contents of the questions, (5) conducting trials, (6) analyzing each item, (7 ) interpret the test results. The data analysis used is the Gregory formula to test its validity, and the Guilford formula to test its reliability. Based on the Gregory formula, the results obtained in this study were 0.8 with very high validity criteria. As for reliability using the Guilford formula, the results obtained are 0.717 with high reliability criteria.
