Abstract

. Faced with the evolution of tools and method of mathematical modeling in epidemiology that we have for the treatment and prevention of the phenomenon of propagation of infectious diseases today, global warming plays a very important role in the genetic modification of microorganisms. This leads to the unsuitability of existing models such as the Susceptible, Exposed, Infected, Retired (SEIR) model proposed in the literature. The present paper proposes a Susceptible, Exposed, Precontaged, Infected, Retired (SEPIR) model adapted to the mechanism of diffusion of the new forms of the infectious diseases studied. This SEPIR model is specialized in cases where the infection spreads directly: first between precontagious individuals (asymptomatic) and susceptible individuals, second between infectious individuals (symptomatic) and susceptible individuals.

Abstract

In the study of American literature, the social reality is reflected; the influence of capitalism is seen with its full might. Individualism and capitalism claimed to be movable factors that influence the direction of human attitude as they are pursuing materialistic goals for self-fulfilment. The severity that is found in the construction of the families is portrayed in the literary works. Saul Bellow’s Seize the Day and O’Neill’s Desire Under the Elms have depicted father characters obsessed with their material possession and always obsessed with the fear of losing capital in the long run. These depictions of fathers’ figures are the opposite of the image of fathers that we have in our minds. Here, the fathers are not afraid of their sons for being tyrannical, imbalanced and ill-mannered individuals but are reluctant to treat them even as successors. They are in fear of being claimed financial support or the property by their sons. They consider their sons’ rivals and chased them away because they failed to fulfil the fathers’ roles as expected. This paper analyses and examines the reason behind the behavioural changes and the forces that shape the characters’ natural conduct.

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the effectiveness of Bil Hal's da'wah in the community of Muneng Ledokdawan village Grobogan District. Namely da'wah that can improve the quality of faith as well as the quality of life of the target da'wah. Da'wah is an obligation of Muslims, so it must be adjusted to the limits of each individual's ability. The selection of methods must be right so that da'wah is right on target. Efforts to approach Islamic teachings can be carried out with 3 approaches, namely oral (bil-lissan), written (bil-risalah), and actions (bil-hal). The content of this paper is in the form of da'wah activities that apply the bil hal approach. For example, congregational prayers, regular recitations once a week (Saturdays), and teaching local women to take care of corpses. The teacher's strategy is to provide an understanding in advance of the activities to be carried out.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to show how the life skills education curriculum has helped students at SMPN 2 Ajangale in Bone Regency achieve gender equality. This study is categorized as qualitative. There were two types of data used in this study: primary data and secondary data. Purposive sampling was used to select the informants, which means only utilizing persons who actually understand the situation, such as trainers, school principals, trained instructors, students, and parents' representatives. Secondary data, is a source that is not directly from the informant, but through a search in the form of important documents related to research. The results showed that LSE learning consisted of 5 modules divided into 22 themes/meetings taught in 2 semesters instilling 13 skills, namely; the ability to self-regulate, creativity, critical thinking, making decisions, negotiating, collaborating, solving problems, participating, managing emotions and stress, resilience/resilience to life's tests, empathy, communication, and respect for differences. Meanwhile, the Implementation of Gender Equality in SMP 2 Ajangale Students, Bone Regency, can be seen in 4 aspects, namely; students have access to equal education between boys and girls, have the same opportunity to actively participate without discrimination, involve students fairly, both boys and girls, in exercising control over school policies, all students have the right to benefit from progress education

Abstract

In epidemiology, the search for new behaviour of infectious agents, processes and mechanisms of diffusion of infection of emerging infectious diseases caused by global warming has already led to tangible results. This paper proposes a dynamic endemic model Susceptible, Exposed, Precontaged, Infected, Retired, Susceptible (SEPIRS). This model is specialized in epidemics that persist for a long time and in cases where the infection spreads directly: first between pre-contagious individuals (asymptomatic) and susceptible individuals, second between infectious individuals (symptomatic) and susceptible individuals. This model characterises the individual recovering from an infection to develop a temporary immunity and then become susceptible again after some time.

Abstract

Siri' Na Pacce is not something new for the Bugis-Makassar community. Even the Siri 'Na Pacce culture existed in the royal era before Islam entered Sulawesi. This paper uses a qualitative method using an anthropological, sociological, and religious approach. The Siri' Na Pacce culture from the beginning was known for the emphasis on personality in relationships with others as a good moral image. In Bugis-Makassar culture, someone who does not have Siri' Na Pacce, then his attitude and nature are the same as animals. The implementation of Siri' Na Pacce values in the marriage of the Bissoloro Village community includes high solidarity, respect for local culture, and sensitivity to others. Uang Panai is not known in Islamic teachings, there is only a dowry. In the tradition adopted by the Bugis-Makassar community, if we are based on the values of Siri' Na Pacce Uang Panai that is given by men to women is a form of appreciation and gratitude to women's parents before transferring the responsibilities of their daughters.
