The United Nations (UN) in 2010 report entitled “Born Too Soon, The Global Action Report on Preterm Birth” placed Indonesia in fifth place as the country with the highest number of premature babies in the world. This was supported by data from the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2016, saying the infant mortality rate (IMR) reached 25 deaths per 1,000 babies born. The implementation of the community service (PKM) is through a strategic approach to the community in the form of promoting free incubator lending to families with premature babies. The approach is carried out directly (direct approach) by using effective communication to health workers, as well as to urban villages around the work area. With the free incubator, many parents who have LBW babies feel helped and are very grateful, the incubator lending process that has been loaned to parents ranges from 1 to 2 months, but there are also families who borrow more than 3 months. This is because the baby's condition is difficult to develop. With the availability of free portable incubator loans carried out by the Surya Nusantara Nursing Academy Free Incubator Volunteers, in collaboration with the Indonesian Premature Baby Foundation, the people of Pematansgiantar and its surroundings feel helped, and are very grateful, not only that the babies who feel comfortable being in the incubator but also the parents also who feel happy, and they do not worry about the development of their baby. They also do not need to experience stress in connection with funding for the care of premature babies, because the incubator and blue light phototherapy equipment is lent out for free without being charged a penny.

Housewives (RT) in one of the Talun Districts are active in activities every month, namely “arisan”. Unfortunately, those who are members of the RT Community just fill their spare time because on average they don't work in the formal sector. They want to increase their potential by not forgetting their obligations as wives or mothers at home. This is urgent to do to increase the potential of women in order to produce superior resources. Currently, women's participation in the business sector is increasing. This is due to the provision of equal and fair opportunities for women to carry out business activities, so that it is expected to help improve the family economy. Thus, it cannot be denied that women can strengthen the economic resilience of families and communities. Therefore, the team seeks to take advantage of opportunities to increase the potential of mothers by providing appropriate skills, raw materials that are easily available and having economic values. This skill is the decoupage. Method used to carry out community service in the form of lectures, questions and answers, and practice through four stages starting from the analysis process to determining the target output. The results obtained by partners are very enthusiastic and have a desire to practice independently to be more skilled. In addition, the participants had mastered the knowledge of techniques for making decoupage crafts and marketing.

Students at Public Elementary School 03 Ujung-Ujung Pabelan learned English only in extracurricular activities, where grade 4 and grade 5 were joined in one class. The learning was done by memorizing vocabulary and learning the structure of English grammar. During extracurricular activities, students were not introduced to HOTS-based storytelling, they only learned English vocabulary and structures. Based on this explanation, students needed HOTS skills in learning English so that they can stimulate critical thinking skills in responding to reading and other English language materials. But in reality, they tended to memorize vocabulary and grammar relatively. Based on this statement, our service team focuses community service on the implementation of storytelling to increase student’s HOTS at 03 Elementary School Ujung-Ujung Pabelan Semarang, which had 42 students. The service method used is the lecture method, brainstorming, storytelling practice, and evaluation of the satisfaction of community service participants. The results show that the student’s HOTS in learning to read English stories, retelling what they had read, and increasing the students' critical thinking patterns. The students become motivated to retell story in English and the students improve their critical thinking patterns.

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) in West Nusa Tenggara in 2017 has an incidence rate per 100,000 population of 26.86 above the national rate of 22.55% and a Case Fatality Rate of 0.15%. Prevention of mosquitoes with insecticides is the main choice for people to avoid mosquito bites. Insecticide products circulating in the community include combustion, electricity, spray, burn, and lotion. The chemicals contained in mosquito repellent insecticides include organochlorines, organophosphates, carbamates, pyrethroids, and DEET. The synthetic active ingredients pose a threat to human health. This underlies the implementation of Community Service Program from Undergraduate Programm in Pharmacy STIKES Nasional for the development of safer insecticide products use natural potentials such as lemongrass, cloves, and lime leaves. The method used is to provide education about dengue disease, the Aedes Aegypti mosquito, and a workshop by making bio spray. The results show that there is an increase in the knowledge of the people of Taman Sari, Ampenan, West Nusa Tenggara about the efforts to prevent DHF, as indicated by an increase in all correct post-test answers, In addition, the results of evaluations of overall community service satisfaction programs are very interesting.

Lansia adalah setiap orang yang berusia 60 tahun atau lebih, yang secara fisik terlihat berbeda dengan kelompok usia lainnya. Pengetahuan merupakan faktor yang membentuk perilaku seseorang. Perilaku seseorang memiliki peranan penting dalam menetukan kesehatan gigi mulut. Salah satu kondisi yang sering terjadi pada rongga mulut lansia yaitu kehilangan gigi yang disebabkan oleh karies gigi. Hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar (RISKESDAS 2018) menyatakan penduduk Indonesia yang memiliki masalah gigi dan mulut dengan proporsi usia 55-64 tahun sebanyak 61,9% dan usia >65 tahun sebanyak 54,2%. Untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan kesehatan gigi mulut, perilaku kesehatan gigi mulut, dan status gigi pada lansia di Panti Wreda Surakarta. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif observasional dengan cross sectional design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 55 orang. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif survey. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa dari keseluruhan lansia di Panti Wreda Surakarta yang berjumlah 55 orang memiliki tingkat pengetahuan dengan kategori sedang sebanyak 30 orang (54,6%) dan perilaku kesehatan gigi mulut dengan kategori sedang sebanyak 40 orang (72,7%). Status gigi geligi lansia menunjukan bahwa lansia yang mengalami karies gigi sebanyak 41 orang (74,6%), gigi yang dicabut atau hilang sebanyak 53 orang (96,4%), gigi yang di tambal sebanyak 6 orang (10,9%), dan gigi yang goyah sebanyak 4 orang (7,3%). Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan kesehatan gigi mulut lansia dan perilaku kesehatan gigi mulut lansia yang tinggal di Panti Wreda Surakarta termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Status gigi geligi lansia menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar lansia sudah kehilangan banyak gigi-giginya yang disebabkan karena karies gigi dan sisa akar pada gigi.

Entrepreneurship in this time is still less echoed because the ratio of entrepreneurs in Indonesia is meager. The community of conducted at Porong 2 state middle school various problems by empowering the existence of students' entrepreneurial canteens to have entrepreneurial skills, courage to face challenges, and entrepreneurial independence. This method of implementing into several stages, including 1) the planning stage, 2) the organizing stage, 3) the implementation stage, 4) the monitoring and evaluation stage, 5) the follow-up stage. The Covid-19 pandemic (Corona virus) is a pandemic transmitted by the corona virus that attacks humans, especially children and the elderly. The transmission of Covid-19 can be through droplets; therefore, it is necessary to prevent it through health protocol, namely clean and healthy living habits, including using masks, washing hands, maintaining distance, and increase body immunity, The purpose of community service is to provide education about the function of vitamins, and how to use an alcoholic-based antiseptic solution for children Ar-Rodiyah Tembalang Orphanage, Semarang. This activity was carried out by lecturers, D4 Health Analyst students and S2 Clinical Laboratory Science students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang on January 31, 2021. The target of this activity was 51 children aged 8-20 years. The results of the implementation of community service at the Ar-Rodiyah orphanage Semarang were distributing 2 posters about the function of vitamins, and how to use an alcoholic-based antiseptic solution, then during the meeting an explanation of the material and the function of vitamins, and how to use an alcoholic-based antiseptic solution and questions and answers was delivered during the meeting. The conclusion from this community service increase knowledge of orphans about function of vitamin from 30 to 80 and knowledge to use alcohol-based antiseptic fluids correctly can increase from 45 to 90. The orphaned children also really hoped for sustainability of this community service activity with other counseling material.

Sauce and chili sauce are pasta product that well-known and popular in the community. These products can be processed through simple technology at the household level. Local food ingredients such as papaya, pumpkin, and chayote can be used as raw material for sauces. Not many people know about the appropriate technology for processing sauces with local ingredients. This activity aims to introduce appropriate technology for processing sauces and chili sauce with local ingredients. The method of implementing activities was through training includes lectures for theoretical material on food safety, food additives and packaging. While the introduction of appropriate technology was carried out by practicum. For carrying out practicum, participants were divided into groups (5 people / group). The target of this activity is 50 members of 'Aisyiyah Semarang City. In general, the results of the activities showed that the target participants were 50 people, and all of them followed a series of activities until the end. The participation and activeness of all participants in lectures and practicum showed that this service activity has been achieved. The results of the practicum in the form of sauce and chili sauce products generally had fairly good characteristics. This shows that the appropriate technology for processing sauces and chili sauce with diversification of local food ingredients can be understood and implemented properly by all participants. This activity has been able to provide new information to participants in addition to the processing process as well as the utilization of local materials that have not been known to the participants beforehand.

This program aims to build public awareness of the values of Pancasila in preventing Tuberculosis. Community service activities were carried out on Friday 4 September 2020 at the multipurpose building Aisyiyah Batang, Jl. Wahid Hasyim, Kauman Batang. The participants of the activity were 44 health cadres who were representatives of all sub-districts in the Batang Regency.. This community service method is carried out by providing socialization and education to the people of Batang Regency. Results of this community service are: 1) the increase in the cultivation of Pancasila values in patients with tuberculosis in Batang Regency, 2) the increase of public awareness of the values of Pancasila in the prevention of Tuberculosis, 3 )the capability of the community to keep the environment clean and avoid environmental pollution according to the values of Pancasila, and 4) the increase of the sense of concern among members of the community for tuberculosis sufferers according to values. In addition, community participation in the culture of Pancasila values in tuberculosis patients has increased. The conclusions are: 1) the cultivation of Pancasila values can increase public awareness in preventing Tuberculosis, 2) through community service activities regarding the culture of Pancasila values, the community is able to maintain personal and environmental hygiene to prevent Tuberculosis, and c) community service activities regarding the culture of Pancasila values can increase the sense of concern among community members towards people who are sick with Tuberculosis. Therefore, through the cultivation of Pancasila values, especially the second principle, a just and civilized humanity becomes very important. The culture of Pancasila values in people with tuberculosis is one of the state's efforts to protect citizens.

During this pandemic, all sectors have collapsed, even the education sector, which is accustomed to face-to-face classes, has become mandatory for offline or online classes, so English teachers are also required to be more creative in developing learning media. Although English is a compulsory subject, the results attained from English subject are not very satisfying. Learning activities is one of the stages that determines the success of student learning. The quality of education and teaching can be enhanced by optimizing several elements such as students, teachers, learning indicators, lesson content, methods, media, and evaluation. Because of the importance of reading material for students, the Bangun Nusantara Sukoharjo Veteran University service team offers Kahoot application training for class X SMA Veteran 01 Sukoharjo. The method utilizsd in this method is a quiz that is taught to class X students according to the lesson plans and syllabus of class X students, as well as the reading material given. The target to be achieved from this service is to increase knowledge and instruction about reading training using Kahoot media for class X SMA Veteran 01 Sukoharjo. In addition, this dedication is expected to be able to achieve several things, nemely: (1) the teacher knows more about the ability of each student in reading comprehension; (2) teachers can think logically and systematically by utilizing existing media in answering quizzes through reading training; (3) students are assisted in learning to think from a point of view in thinking practice; (4) teachers can further develop students' motivation to learn; and (5) students are actively involved in class planning and management.
