Abstract

Adolescents who live in orphanages will only have their physiological needs met but not their psychological needs, this is because the condition of the orphanage with the number of caregivers and orphans that are not comparable can cause psychological problems. The lack of guidance from caregivers in more depth can be one of the triggering factors for adolescents who live in orphanages when experiencing problems in their lives to be more susceptible to stress, pressure and depression. This makes it easy for individuals to fall and find it difficult to get back up. The implementation method in this service activity is carried out offline by giving lectures, case studies and games. Activities were evaluated using the pretest and post-test measurement models. Based on the results of the analysis using the Paired Sample T-Test, it was found that there was an increase of 17.98 with a difference in the mean score of pretest 56.95 and post-test 74.93. This shows an increase in resilience in orphaned adolescents after being given training. The activities that have been carried out are very useful for adolescents by increasing resilience and gaining new knowledge which before this activity teenagers did not know the meaning and importance of individuals having high resilience.

Abstract

As we all know that the Covid-19 pandemic has paralyzed various aspects including education. In the field of education, learning habits are limited face-to-face and are required to apply strict health protocols. On the other hand, the ability of teachers to teach their field of study using online methods still has limitations, for example, the ability to design teaching materials and transfer learning using media is considered to be very limited. Training and improving teacher competence through blended learning and the use of hyper content with hyperlinks are seen as one of the solutions so that teachers can design teaching materials oriented to text and image processing by using QR Codes. The subject matter, whether text, images, graphics, diagrams, or models designed by the teacher, can be delivered by using hyper content and inserting links to being content on the internet such as YouTube, to enhance the knowledge supply of teachers and students. The training activities were carried out face-to-face at the New Building, UPI Campus in Purwakarta, involving 20 Junior High School Teachers and 18 Madrasah Tsanawiyah Teachers in Purwakarta Regency. The results of the activity show that the blended learning hyper content with hyperlink training can improve the ability of teachers in designing engaging, interactive digital modules or teaching materials that are rich in content that can be accessed online anytime and anywhere or printed and then scanned via QR Code when students want to access the provided learning content. Thus, blended learning hyper content with hyperlinks can be used as an effective solution in improving the ability of teachers to design teaching materials during the COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of limited face-to-face learning.

Abstract

The existence of waria is often constructed as a marginal group which results in the emergence of discriminatory attitudes in society. On the other hand, the phenomenon that hit the transgender group also intersects with the humanist values of "how to humanize humans" which need to be supported without any differences between each other based on the contents of the 1945 Constitution Article 28D concerning Human Rights, including at the Waria Al Islamic Boarding School. -Fatah in Kotagede Yogyakarta, which was formed in 2008. This activity was attended by 22 participants with the aim of strengthening the social solidarity of the students in achieving group harmony, especially during the current covid-19 pandemic. Using the FGD / focus group discussion method and lectures related to understanding digital media literacy as a trend that transgender students can pursue to brand themselves and promote their respective businesses in a more modern way. The results of the activity show that there are discomforts encountered by the students when worshiping in public places, even though the group has the same needs as other humans, including spiritual desires / impulses. So that through this boarding school they are also given space to worship for their own reasons. The existence of community service at the Waria Al-Fatah Islamic Boarding School is expected to further strengthen tolerance with a focus on inter-religious spiritual activities. The existence of waria is often constructed as a marginal group which results in the emergence of discriminatory attitudes in society.
