Abstract

The current problem is the decline in student character and learning media that does not yet apply Balinese culture. This research aims to develop digital comic media based on Balinese culture to strengthen the Pancasila Student Profile of grade IV elementary school students. This research uses the ADDIE development model. The method used is a questionnaire. The research subject is digital comic media based on Balinese culture, while the research object is the design, validity of the media developed, teacher responses and student responses to digital comic media. The data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research are that the design consists of a comic cover, comic opening, comic content, comic cover, and in the form of a PDF file. The validity of digital comic learning media was declared valid and appropriate based on the percentage of material content experts 98%, media experts 95%, and design experts 98% (very good). The fourth grade elementary school teacher's response based on practitioner tests obtained a percentage of 100% (very good) so it is suitable for use in learning activities. Student responses based on individual trials obtained a percentage of 98.7% and small group trials 97.7% (very good). It was concluded that digital comic media based on Balinese culture is suitable for use in learning. 7% and small group trials 97.7% (very good). Abstract

Students' skills in writing descriptions still need to improve. The lack of application of innovative and varied learning models causes it. This study aims to analyze the effect of the PjBL model assisted by audio-visual media on the descriptive writing skills of fifth-grade elementary school students. This type of research is quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were all fifth-grade students, totaling 310 students. The research sample was determined by cluster random sampling technique with a total of 32 students and fifth-grade students. The method and instrument used in this research was a test of Indonesian writing skills. Research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques. The result of the analysis is that the PjBL model assisted by audio-visual media affects the description writing skills of fifth-grade elementary school students. It was concluded that the PjBL model, assisted by audio-visual media, improved the descriptive writing skills of fifth-grade elementary school students. The implication of this research is using the PjBL model assisted by audio-visual media to help students learn so that it is suitable for learning, especially in Indonesian language content.

Abstract

The learning model the teacher uses needs to be more diverse and more able to accommodate the development of speaking skills. It causes students' speaking skills not to develop optimally. This study aims to analyze the effect of the think pair share cooperative learning model assisted by children's story texts on speaking skills in fourth-grade elementary school students. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in the study were all fourth-grade elementary school students consisting of 11 fourth-grade students with 340 students. The data collection method uses the non-test method in the form of an observation sheet. The technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results of testing the hypothesis showed a significant difference between students taught with the cooperative model of the think pair share type assisted by children's story text and students taught with conventional learning models. The cooperative model of the think pair share type influences the speaking skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. It was concluded that the cooperative model of the think pair share type can improve speaking skills in fourth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Parents play an important role in the child's learning process. The choice of parenting style applied at home also has an important role in the student learning process. This study aims to analyze the effect of parenting style and study habits on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. This research is ex-post-facto research. The sample in this study amounted to 124 students. Determination of the sample in this study using a random sampling technique. The method used in this study is a questionnaire. The analysis used in this study is simple regression and multiple regression. The results showed no effect between authoritarian parenting styles on student learning outcomes at 4.4%. There is an influence between parenting parents in the democratic category on student learning outcomes at 5.4%. There is no influence between the parenting style of permissive parents and student learning outcomes of 3.3%. There is an influence between study habits and student learning outcomes of 5.7%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the parenting style of parents in the authoritarian, democratic, and permissive categories and students' learning habits significantly affect the results of learning mathematics for fifth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

The curriculum in Indonesia has changed according to the times. The government offers the concept of the Merdeka Learning Merdeka Curriculum, intending to adjust to the talents and interests of students. The government held a driving teacher training program requiring teachers to be more creative in learning. This study aims to analyze teachers' characteristics, student interests in learning, and the influence of the creativity of driving teachers in developing students' learning interests. This type of research is quasi-experimental quantitative. The population in this study were all fifth-grade elementary school students consisting of 63 students. Data collection techniques with questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. Research using validity tests, reliability tests, and hypothesis testing. The research results from the driving teacher's creativity by doing ice breaking. Change the classroom atmosphere, use various media and methods, and create various learning materials and media. Students' interest in learning is in the form of liking doing assignments, being enthusiastic about learning, enjoying working with teams, liking practical learning activities, being active and online to give opinions in class. The creativity of the driving teacher influences in developing students' learning interests. It was concluded that the driving teacher's creativity significantly affected the developing students' learning interests. And create various learning materials and media. Abstract

The availability of various learning media that support science learning activities still needs to be improved. This study aims to develop PBL-oriented instructional video media using the Filmora application on animal characteristics and their habitat material. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model. The subjects of this study were design experts, two learning content experts, and two learning media experts. The test subjects for this study included two teachers for the practitioner test, three people for the individual trial, and nine students for the small group trial. The population of this study was 20 people. The sampling technique uses Saturated sampling. Data collection methods are interviews, observations, questionnaires, and tests. The instrument collects data,  the rating scale. The data analysis techniques used in this study are descriptive qualitative analysis techniques, quantitative descriptive analysis techniques, and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the research are the results of the assessment given by subject content experts,  94.5% (very good), learning media experts,  91.81% very good), and learning design experts, 92% (very good). The results of practicality trials, according to the teacher, were 91.81% (very good), 97.3% individual trials (very good), and small group trials 97.1 (very good). The results of the t-test found that there were significant differences before and after using PBL-oriented instructional video media using the Filmora application. It was concluded that the instructional video media was effectively used in the material on the characteristics of animals and their habitat.

Abstract

The lack of innovative learning media during learning and the lack of instilling concepts in mathematics causes learning to be less meaningful. This development research aims to determine the design, feasibility, and effectiveness of Ethnomatematics-based Mathematics Learning Videos on speed material for fifth-grade elementary school students. This research belongs to the type of development research that was developed using the ADDIE model. The subjects of this research trial were learning content (material) experts, instructional design experts, instructional media experts, and 24 fifth-grade elementary school students. Data collection in the study was carried out using the questionnaire method and the test method. Data analysis techniques using qualitative data analysis techniques, quantitative descriptive data analysis, and inferential statistics (t-test). The results showed that the assessment of learning media experts obtained a percentage of 94.79% with very good qualifications, the results of the assessment of learning design experts obtained a percentage of 95.83% with very good qualifications, the results of the assessment of material experts obtained a percentage of 97.41% with qualifications very good, the results of student assessments through individual trials obtained a percentage of 97.22% with very good qualifications, the results of student assessments through small groups obtained a percentage of 98.29% with very good qualifications. It was concluded that the ethnomathematics-based instructional video media on the mathematics content of speed material for fifth-grade elementary school students could help students improve their understanding of learning concepts, especially in mathematics, to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The teacher's success in the learning process can be seen from the student learning results. Learning is said to be successful, also seen from how the teacher packages learning. However, teachers are still having difficulties using appropriate learning models in learning. This study aimed to analyze the effect of the Visualization Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model assisted by the Ludo Word Game. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The study population consisted of 45 students, with a random sampling technique to determine the sample. The sample of this research is the experimental class of 23 students and the control class of 22 students. The method used in collecting data is a test. The data collection instrument uses test questions. Data analysis techniques using inferential statistical analysis. The results of the study using the t-test obtained data, namely tcount of 19.893 while for ttable of 2.016, if seen from this, it can be said that tcount is greater than ttable, so there is a significant influence using the Visualization Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model assisted by Ludo Word Game on science learning outcomes for class V SD. It was concluded that the Ludo Word Game assisted Visualization Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model improved student learning outcomes. The implication of this research is using the Ludo Word Game-assisted Visualization Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model to increase students' enthusiasm for learning.

Abstract

The existence of a policy for implementing online learning has an impact on many parents who cannot meet their children's learning needs due to financial constraints. This study aims to find out the efforts made by low-income families to overcome children's learning problems. This research belongs to the type of qualitative descriptive research, with research subjects,  13 low-income families, six children from low-income families, and one cooperative employee/neighbor who lent money. Data collection in this study was carried out using observation, interview, and documentation methods, with research instruments in the form of observation and interview guidelines. The data obtained in the study were then analyzed using data triangulation techniques which consisted of data reduction, data display, and conclusion or verification processes. The results of data analysis then show that low-income families make five efforts to meet the learning needs of children, including doing side jobs with a total percentage of 69%, utilizing the labor of other family members to supplement income with a total percentage of 54%, making savings with a total percentage of 93%, borrowing money from cooperatives or relatives with a total percentage of 85%, and utilizing assistance provided by the government with a total percentage of 100%. These results show that parents always try to provide learning facilities/infrastructure during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This research is motivated by problems regarding the profile of Pancasila students, students who still need to improve, such as children who are still lazy to read books, do not want to work together, and are less independent in doing assignments. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the PJBL model in increasing the profile of Pancasila students (p3) in fourth-grade elementary school students. This type of research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research design. The population of this study is class IV which consists of 3 classes. While the research sample used a purposive sampling technique, the research sample was in the IVC class with 25 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation. Instrument testing uses validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis and prerequisite tests, namely normality, homogeneity, hypothesis, and N-Gain tests. Based on research data processing, the PJBL model is quite effective in increasing the profile of Pancasila students (P3) in class IV elementary school students. It is proven by the t-count results, namely that there is an increase in the profile of Pancasila students (P3) of students with the PJBL model who are in the medium category, where the N-Gain value is 0.56. It was concluded that the PJBL model could increase the profile of Pancasila students (P3) in grade IV elementary school students.
