Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar mahasiswa baru yang mengikuti kegiatan asahi benkyoukai (kelompok belajar bahasa Jepang). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif menjabarkan hasil belajar mahasiswa baru setelah mengikuti kegiatan asahi benkyoukai berupa angka dan persen. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu 50 mahasiswa baru Angkatan tahun 2022. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa tes yang terdiri pilihan ganda dan uraian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa 32 responden atau sebanyak 64% memperoleh nilai dengan kategori baik. Dengan demikian dapat diketahui bahwa kegiatan asahi benkyoukai sangat bermanfaat.

Abstract

This study analyzed the misuse of Japanese -sa and -mi suffixes among intermediate learners. The purpose of this research is to describe the suffix usage errors along with their classification and causative factors. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. Based on the analysis, overall errors rate is 46% with -sa suffix usage errors amounting to 29,76% and -mi suffix error usage amounting to 58,33%. The language deviation found classified as errors and mistake, linguistically, the errors classified as morphological and lexical errors, and based on surface strategy the errors classified as misformation. Most of the errors found are intralingual errors caused by overgeneralization, avoidance, ignorance of rule restriction, false concepts hypothesized, and learning strategy. Improving the understanding of both learners and teachers is important to prevent continuous errors. Further research on sakubun making is expected to explore new findings.

Abstract

This research explores the diverse modalities within the structure of Japanese sentences, focusing on the modality of possibility known as "kanousei". Specifically, it delves into the distinctions between two forms of this modality: "kamoshirenai" and "osore ga aru," employing Iori's theory. Data collection involved the observational method, the basic technique used in this method is Simak Bebas Libat Cakap (SBLC), and taking notes as advanced techniques. 15 data points were gathered from news websites, comprising 8 sentences with the "kamoshirenai" modality and 7 with the "osore ga aru" modality. Subsequently, the data were analyzed using agih method. The analysis revealed that "kamoshirenai" expresses the possibility of an event, conveys the speaker's opinions or assumptions, and can indicate causal relationships. On the other hand, "osore ga aru" carries a similar meaning to "kamoshirenai," yet it nuances an undesirable outcome as perceived by the speaker.

Abstract

One of the marker structures in Japanese is tense and aspect. Tense indicates the time of the event or action marked by the verb used at the time of the utterance, while aspect is a way to see the formation of time markers internally in a situation, event, state or process. Tense and aspect are quite complex for Japanese language learners. Therefore, this study will describe some forms of tense and aspect found in the 2013 anime Corpse Party. The purpose of this study is to find out what are the tenses and aspects contained in the Corpse Party anime. Data collection is done using the listening method with the advanced technique of free listening. In the data processing process, it is done using the pragmatic pairing method, which uses the theory of Teramura and Nitta which is presented in an informal method. From the results of the analysis, there are 3 methods of analyzing tense and 4 categories of aspects

Abstract

This article focuses on the One Piece comic by Oda Eiichiro. This fictional comic was created in 1997 and made into anime in 1999, telling the adventures of a man who wants to become a pirate king named Monkey D Luffy. To achieve his goal, he recruited ten members. This research discusses the intrinsic elements of the character and characterization of Roronoa Zoro. The research uses qualitative methods which produce descriptive data in the form of written words. Analysis result shows that the character Roronoa Zoro is a deputy ship captain who is very loyal to his captain and is willing to sacrifice his life for his captain. However, the character Roronoa Zoro has a dark past because he doesn't know who and where his parents are. The character Roronoa Zoro experiences a change in character from being silent and gloomy and easily carried away by emotions to being responsible, loyal and nurturing to his fellow members. So the character Roronoa Zoro is classified as a developing character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan persahabatan yang muncul dalam adegan- adegan tokoh utama film Teke-teke berdasarkan konsep persahabatan Rowland S. Miller. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi scene dari durasi dalam film Teke-teke yang menggambarkan persahabatan tokoh utama dalam menghadapi ancaman hantu Teke-teke. Menggunakan teknik validitas triangulasi data. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, persahabatan dalam film Teke-teke menunjukan respect saling menghargai satu sama lain dan mampu memotivasi satu sama lain di berbagai situasi, trust ditunjukan dengan munculnya rasa saling percaya yang menghasilkan keterbukaan diri dan tidak mementingkan ego masing-masing, Capitalization ditunjukan dengan bentuk berbagi informasi satu sama lain, Social support ditunjukan dengan saling mengisi kekurangan satu sama lain, dan Responsiveness yang ditujukan dengan melindungi satu sama lain sehingga menghasilkan hubungan yang lebih intim.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk memaparkan makna representasi kesetaraan gender pada iklan McDonald’s Anime 2 (2016) yang dibuat oleh pihak McDonald dengan melakukan kerja sama dengan pihak Studio Colorido sebagai produser anime, personel AKB48 Yui Yokoyama, dan Team 8 Rin Okabe sebagai pengisi suara dalam iklan. Penelitian akan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif deskriptif semiotika Roland Barthes yang mengacu pada sistem pemaknaan denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos yang dapat digunakan dalam mengenali dan memahami tanda-tanda serta makna yang ditampilkan dalam iklan McDonald’s Anime 2 (2016) sebagai objek penelitian. Tanda yang ditemukan dlam penelitian berupa tanda Violet (tokoh utama) dan General Manager Hoshino (Senpai) sebagai kaum perempuan mempunyai kebebasan untuk memilih dan melakukan pekerjaan publik yang biasanya dilakukan oleh laki– laki.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze three data through video interviews available on the internet, providing an understanding of individuals’ views and experiences regarding the reluctance to marry in Japan relating to the economy, gender roles and changing of lifestyle preferences. The research method used is qualitative with a listening and note-taking approach via videos available on the internet. The result of this research shows that, although the Japanese government has launched various initiatives, such as subsidies, financial support and funding of matchmaking agencies, factors such as financial worries, gender inequality and changing of lifestyle preferences remains as challenges that needs to be overcome to motivate more people to get married in Japan.

Abstract

Japan is a country that has a lot of history in it through a lot of growth and development as well as politics that existed in every era. Japan has one form of politics in it, namely: Sakoku politics. In the Sakoku political system there are no foreign communities, especially communities. Japan opposed the order of Shogun Tokugawa Ieasu to enter Japanese territory for foreigners and local people were not allowed to travel or leave Japanese territory. Research using qualitative methods, this research aims to understand and analyze through YouTube sources with the outline of the discussion being "politics sakoku" / "lockdown system" at that time. The result of this analysis is that it can be concluded that "sakoku politics" / "lockdown system" had a big impact on the Japanese state, but in this political system it had negative and positive forms that were felt by the public.

Abstract

This research describes and compares the implementation of character education in West Java through the Jabar Masagi program and in Japan. The Jabar Masagi program emphasizes Sundanese values, such as religiosity and cultural awareness, with a focus on four core values: Surti, Harti, Bukti, and Bakti. Meanwhile, character education in Japan encompasses four aspects: Regarding Self, Relation to Others, Relation to Nature and the Sublime, and Relation to Group and Society. Despite differences in focus and activities, both demonstrate similarities in collaborative approaches and environmental appreciation. This research provides insights into effective and culturally relevant character education approaches. The findings contribute to the development of improved character education programs in Indonesia.
