Abstract

This study aims to develop instructional design that include Ikigai concept to improve students High Order Literacy Skills competence in accordance to standard needed in industrial 4.0 era. Product development is done by Research and Development (R&D) Method with Akker procedure scheme. On the field of Informatic Education, our main concern is student that can be described as skilled programmer often have poor communication or collaboration skills with societies and vice-versa, student with good social skills often has poor technical skill. However, when the students have clear life-goal, those lack of social or technical skills are gradually improved. In this study, we cultivate student's intrinsic motivation by utilize Ikigai concept on teaching and learning activities. The result show that when the students have clear life-goal, those lack of social or technical skills are gradually improved. Furthermore, by properly using Ikigai as motivation template, it could be the most important factor that help eastern culture people achieve self-actualization.

Abstract

Science learning achievement is low in some elementry schools in Bali and it is suspected that learning process is one of the factors that has caused this. Hence, there is a need for innovations in learning to improve learning process which has so far taken place (conventional). This study wasa aimed at finnding out the difference in science learning achievement  between students who are taught  through contextual learning which uses three dimension media and those who are taught through conventional learning..this is a quasi-experimental research with non equivalent post-test only control group design. The population used in this study was the fourth grade students af elementary schools in Gugus 1 Singaraja with the total number of eight schools. The sample in this study was selected  using  random sampling. Out of the eight schools in Gugus 1 Singaraja, two schools wereselected, namely SD No. 5 Banyuning as experiment group and SD No.6 Banyuning as conrol group.. the data gathered inthis study was in the form of science learning achievement. The instrument used to collect the data was an objective test or multiple choice.  The data were analyzed  using inferential statistics or t-test.  The result showed that  science learning achievement in the group where  three dimension media were used  had  the mean score of 20.75 , which is higher than  the group where conventional learning was used , whose mean score was 17. 08. This result  was confirmed by hypothesis testing in which it was obtained that tobs. > tc.v.. This means that  the implementation of contextual  learning approach  which was aided with three dimenisionmedia had  a positive effect on  science learning achivement.

Abstract

The learning process in college is not just reading material, doing assignments, collecting assignments, and then completing. If it is examined closely with the material presented it can be tedious and after the learning process does not increase students' knowledge. The most likely thing to do is to improve teaching material in an innovative direction that can improve graduate competency. So based on the 2016 curriculum, a Tourism Information System (TIS) course appears. Students who graduate need to be provided with knowledge about this TIS, especially because in Bali it is a world tourist destination. In realizing this, learning tools are needed to help, so a module is created to help the learning process that integrates SIP with the local culture of Bali to produce more attractive promotions that are accessed in E-learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to produce a valid android based mobile learning media that is suitable for learning in Computer and Based Network subjects. This android based mobile learning media is designed to increase student interest in learning, to improve student understanding about learning material and also to improve learning outcomes. This is a Research and Development (R&D) with 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). In this study is limited to the development stage, is to know the validity of the mobile learning media from material and media experts. Data analysis techniques is descriptive analysis techniques to describe the validity of the android based mobile learning media. Media validity is measured through a validated instruments that has been previously validated. The validity results from this research are android based mobile learning media declared valid in terms of media aspects and material aspects. Based on the results of this validity, it is concluded that the android based mobile learning media was declared valid for use as Computer and Based Network learning media.

Abstract

Learning outcomes of Diploma 3 students of Mechanical Engineering in the Energy Conversion Engineering course seem not optimal, it estimated that the learning outcomes were not optimal due to the inaccurate use of learning media in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to produce a valid adobe flash based learning media. This research was Research and Development (R&D) method with ADDIE model. The research subjects were students of the Diploma 3 Mechanical Engineering who took Energy Conversion Engineering courses. Data collect in the form of questionnaire sheets and primary data were obtained from lecturers and students. Data were analyzed by descriptive analysis technique by describing validity of adobe flash based learning media. Based on the analysis of the data obtained the validity of adobe flash based learning media, declared valid on the Content aspect with score 0,85 and the Display aspect with score 0,91. Based on the findings of this study it was concluded that the adobe flash based learning media was valid as a learning media in the Energy Conversion Machine course.

Abstract

Teacher identity still remains an important topic to discuss in education because it shows teachers’ personal and professional aspects. Teacher identity is not a static circumstance as it changes depending on the contexts. As zoning policy in new student admission in Indonesia remains as educational current issue, this study aims to explore how the zoning policy implementation develops English teacher identity in high and low-performing schools. This study employed qualitative approach as the purpose of this research is not to be generalized; this empirical research is aimed to reveal holistic discussion of particular subjects instead. Twelve English teachers from different public senior high schools in Yogyakarta Province, Indonesia were selected for semi-structured interviews and two of them were invited to have in-depth interviews. The data were coded and analyzed based on the framework of teacher identity construction. The results showed that the contribution of zoning policy implementation in teacher identity development varied. Firstly, zoning policy implementation influences teacher identity regarding their beliefs on students’ characteristics in high and low-performing schools. Secondly, teachers’ maintenance of their moral purpose as educator was developed through the implementation. Thirdly, class dynamics were triggered by the previous two aspects

Abstract

The ability of modern industrial work must be mastered by vocational engineering students, therefore it is important to develop learning tools that are oriented to the fourth industry. This study assesses the development of mechatronics learning tools that are arranged based on the abilities that must be possessed by students to work in the fourth industrial era using the IDI model. Data was collected from the validity, practicality and effectiveness tests on the programmed subjects in 2019. Learning activities carried out during 16 meetings to produce a smart factory (prototype). Analysis shows that learning tools are developedit is valid, then the response of teaching staff shows the criteria are very practical and based on the response of students also in the category of very practical. The findings, an increase in students' understanding of the value of the end of the semester, but they have to struggle even more to obtain more optimal results. Besides, the learning device also forms the general ability of the learner, the learning communicative, collaborative, innovative, creative, leadership and entrepreneurship that observed during the process of learning to walk
