Jurnal Ilmiah Sekolah Dasar (JISD) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan ganesha. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk mewadahi artikel-artikel hasil penelitian dan hasil pengabdian masyarakat dibidang pendidikan dan pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar. Pada akhirnya Jurnal ini dapat memberikan deskripsi tentang perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di bidang pendidikan dasar bagi masyarakat akademik. Jurnal ini terbit 4 kali setahun (Februari, Mei, Agustus, November).

<![CDATA[English needs to be taught from an early age, at the basic education level. Teachers in elementary schools are required to provide an interesting and easy-to-understand English learning experience for students. However, the problem is that not all teachers in elementary schools have that ability. Only a few teachers can create learning English creatively. One of them is a teacher at Kramat Elementary School, Kudus Regency. The teacher at the elementary school taught English on spelling learning material through the media of songs. This research aimed to examine in depth the use of song media to increase elementary school-aged children's spelling learning. This research is qualitative, aiming to deepen the study of spelling learning for elementary school-aged children and their solutions to globally improve the quality of primary school education. This research's object is the teachers and students of SDN Kramat, Kudus Regency with the data collecting technique of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained is then analyzed using Miles & Huberman (1992) analysis technique, including activities of reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results showed that the use of songs in learning English, especially spelling learning in elementary schools, was able to have a positive impact on both teachers and students. The impact for teachers is to provide awareness that creativity is something important for them to improve professionalism. For students, the song is an effective medium to increase learning motivation and understand the material. The conclusion in this study is that the use of song media in spelling learning impacts teacher creativity and increases elementary school students' English learning outcomes]]>

<![CDATA[Lack of digital-based learning resources makes students experience problems in learning. This is because conventional learning resources are less practical so students prefer innovative learning sources. This study aims to compile and use innovative and creative teaching materials by the curriculum, student development, and information technology developments. This research is classified as a development research type with the Dick and Carey model. The research data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of the E-book development show that it is very feasible to use. The score obtained is 3.8 or 95% from the validator. This e-book is also considered practical with an average value of 84.07%. The practical value is known by conducting individual trials, large group trials, and teacher assessments. The results of the field test showed that the interactive e-book developed was able to improve problem-solving skills in grade IV students. After being given an interactive e-book, the students' scores classically increased to 92.59%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the interactive e-book developed meets the standards of feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness for use in grade IV SD students. The implication of this research has the impact of increasing student motivation in learning so that it affects student learning outcomes that increase.]]>

<![CDATA[In current learning, teachers still use the lecture method and rarely use media to support learning so that students feel bored and less enthusiastic about participating in learning activities resulting in low student learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the improvement of student learning outcomes in the realm of knowledge and skills using the think pair share learning model assisted by pop-up media in class V. This type of research is classroom action research. This study consisted of 4 stages, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The research subjects were 23 students in grade V. Data collection techniques in this study were test and non-test. The data analysis technique used quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of students in the domain of social science content knowledge in the first cycle obtained an average value of 69 and the Indonesian language content obtained an average value of 70 while in the second cycle the social studies content obtained an average value of 79 and the Indonesian language content obtained an average value. -averaged 80. The results of learning skills in the first cycle obtained an average score of 66 in the category of needing guidance while in the second cycle an average score of 78 was in the sufficient category. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that applying the think pair share learning model assisted by pop up media can improve learning outcomes in class V.]]>

<![CDATA[The use of polite language is very low used by elementary school students, causing misunderstanding or miscommunication in learning. This study aims to analyze the process of cultivating character to increase students' communicative character value in the learning process. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method, with a descriptive qualitative type. This research was conducted with the research subjects of teachers and students of fourth grade. The object of this research is the role of the teacher in instilling students' communicative character values. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study revealed that the teacher's way of carrying out the inculcation of communicative character values in grade fourth went well. The inculcation of communicative character values has a good impact on the communicative character of students. The implication of this research has the impact of cultivating character values that can create a more active atmosphere in the classroom. <![CDATA[Low-grade students still have difficulty in writing. Writing delays can hinder the learning process. This study aimed to develop writing learning video products for first-grade elementary school students whose validity has been tested. This research refers to the ADDIE development model procedure. However, this study did not implement and evaluate stages due to limited time, effort, resources, and finance. The subjects of this study were two material experts, two media experts, and two practitioners. The object of this research is the validity of the writing learning video. The data collection of this research used a questionnaire method by providing assessment sheets to two media expert lecturers, two material expert lecturers, and two first-grade elementary school teachers. The data from the validation results from the experts were then analyzed using the mean formula to determine the average validity score of the writing learning videos. The analysis results showed that the average validation score for writing learning videos is 4.44 with very good criteria. The average score of validation for writing learning video materials is 4.06 with very good criteria. Based on the analysis results, the writing learning video for first-grade students of SD was declared valid and had very good criteria.]]>

<![CDATA[The current covid-19 pandemic has caused the child's needs to be less fulfilled for the attention and guidance of parents, which will undoubtedly affect the aspects of children's moral development. This research was conducted to identify the role of parental attention in the moral development of elementary school children during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses qualitative methods with literature studies from several sources, both print and electronic media, as well as books and online journals. The research technique used is the documentation technique in the form of notes, books, papers or articles, journals, and news. Validity test, researchers used the triangulation of data sources. The literature review analysis uses the content analysis paradigma presentation of data using informal presentation methods. The results of this study are based on a survey from the Ministry of Education and Culture, namely that around 90% of parents accompany their children during SFH, and only 3,4% of children do not receive assistance from their parents because their parents work outside the home. This research concludes that it is essential for parents to pay attention to the moral development of their children, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, in general, parents have played a role in accompanying their children during the Covid-19 and SFH pandemic.]]>

<![CDATA[The low activity and participation of students in learning due to the teacher's lack of learning models during the learning process. This research aims to develop learning media of animal life cycle puzzle and determine the feasibility and students’ response to the product being developed in fourth-grade elementary school. The purpose of developing animal life cycle puzzle was obtained from the results during pre-research that the teacher explained the animal life cycle material with the lecture and teacher center method, besides that the teacher also only focused on student books as a learning medium so that students looked passive in the learning process. The research method used a research and development method that has been modified by Sugiyono, which begins with the problem analysis, data collection, product design, design validation, product design revision, and product trial trials. Based on the results of the feasibility test of the learning media of animal life cycle puzzle get an average score of eligibility by a design expert team of 86, 35% with the criteria of interpretation category "Very Worthy," the average score of eligibility by the material expert team was 92.50% with the criteria for interpretation category "Very Apprpriate." The average score of eligibility by the education expert team was 96.50% by criterion category of interpretation "Very Appropriate." While the students’ response is known from a limited trial conducted on 20 students, obtained a percentage of 92.36% with the category "Very Good." Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning media of animal life cycle puzzle is very worthy and very good used in the learning process in elementary school.]]>

<![CDATA[The use of a monotonous and less attractive learning model results in low connectivity and low confidence. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learnng model on the mathematical connection ability and self-confidence students class IV fraction material. The formulation of the problem in this study is wether there is an effect of the Think Talk Write learning model on the mathematical connection ability and self-confidence students class IV fraction material. This research is conducted to students class IV. This study is a quantitative research with Quasi Experimental Design in the form Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Data collection techniques method the test and questionnaries. Data analysis uses normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. The results show that: 1) There is an effect of the Think Talk Write learning model on the mathematical connection ability, as evidenced by the results of the Independent Sample T-Test, there is a sig. (2-tailed) 0.038 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted in the Paired Sample T-Test there is a sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. 2) There is an influence of the Think Talk Write learning model on self-confidence from the independent calculation there is a sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, while in Paired the results are Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This research implies that the TTW learning model can improve the mathematical connection ability and self-confidence students class IV fraction material.]]>

<![CDATA[In general, the use of instructional media in elementary schools is still lacking. The development of learning media that is more varied and innovative and integrated into the 2013 curriculum is needed. One of them is the Thematic Magnetic Board (PAMANTIK) media developed by thematic learning and is integrated with the 2013 curriculum. The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of developing instructional media. PAMANTIK according to the characteristics of thematic learning and knowing the feasibility of PAMANTIK learning media. A team of media experts carried out the results of the feasibility of this development research, material experts, and education experts with the interpretation category "Very Appropriate." While the students' responses to PAMANTIK media were carried out with limited trials on third-grade elementary school students, the interpretation category was "Very Good." Based on the research and development results, it was concluded that the PAMANTIK learning media was very good and suitable for use in elementary schools. PAMANTIK media development has implications for increasing student motivation in thematic learning by using integrated learning media in thematic learning.]]>

<![CDATA[The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on all activities including learning activities that were initially carried out through direct interaction between teachers and students, becoming online learning activities. Online learning activities, which are new among elementary school teachers, have resulted in differences in teacher perceptions of online learning activities. This study aims to determine the teacher's perspective on planning, implementing and evaluating learning activities in the network (online). This study used a descriptive research design with a sample of 64 people from a total population of 80 teachers. Data collection used non-test methods with instruments in the form of closed questionnaires. Stages of data analysis using percentage and mean (average). The results obtained in planning learning activities in the network (online) amounted to 77.46% with positive criteria, in the implementation of online learning activities, 66.48% were obtained with the less positive category and in the evaluation of learning activities online (online) obtained 73.34% results with positive criteria. So it can be concluded that teachers' perceptions are positive about planning online learning activities, teachers' perceptions are less positive about planning online learning activities, and teachers' perceptions are positive about evaluating online learning activities.]]>
