Jurnal Ilmiah Sekolah Dasar (JISD) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan ganesha. Abstract

The low student learning outcomes are caused because, in the learning process, the teacher dominantly delivers the material. There are still many students having difficulty understanding the subject matter. The purpose of this study was to analyze the process of implementing thematic learning using the environment as a learning resource during the Covid 19 pandemic and to analyze the results of implementing thematic learning through the use of the environment as a learning resource during the Covid 19 pandemic. This type of research is qualitative research with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were third-grade elementary school students. The object of research is the role of the teacher in improving learning outcomes. Techniques to collect data through observation studies, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. This research shows that in this pandemic condition, learning activities are very disturbed, so that students are limited in carrying out learning activities. Using the environment as a learning resource can attract students' attention to be motivated to learn.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui implementasi model pembelajaran quantum teaching tipe TANDUR berbantuan pemainan tradisional terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD. Jenis penelitian yang dilaksanakan yaitu quasi eksperiment dirancang dengan Non Equivalen Post-Test Only Kontrol Grup Desain. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas IV SD Gugus V Kecamatan Buleleng dan terdiri dari 5 kelas. Sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri SDN 1 Petandakan yang terdiri dari 28 siswa (eksperimen) dan SDN 1 Nagasepaha yang terdiri dari 31 siswa (kontrol). Data hasil belajar IPA dikumpulkan dengan objektif sebanyak 30 soal. Analisis data melalui tahap analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitiaan ini menunjukkan yaitu nilai hitung sebesar 3.21 dan nilai tabel sebesar 2.0. Artinya bahwa thitung lebih besar dibandingkan dengan ttabel. Dapat disimpulkan dengan, terdapatnya pengaruh dari hasil belajar IPA antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran quantum teaching tipe TANDUR berbantuan pemainan tradidional dengan peserta didik yang menggunakan pendekatan saintifik pada siswa kelas IV SD di Gugus V Kecamatan Buleleng Tahun Ajaran 2019/2020.

Abstract

Lack of understanding of the concept has an impact on the low value of student scores in Indonesian language and natural science content. The purpose of this study was to examine the differences in the average ability of students' understanding of concepts between before and after the STAD learning model-assisted ALPIN media and measure the increase in students' understanding of concepts after being taught using the STAD learning model-assisted ALPIN media. This research is a quantitative study with a Pre-Experimental Design in the form of The One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study was a student of class IV SD. Sampling is done by a saturated sampling technique. The sample in this study was class IV SD, which amounted to 29 students. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The data analysis technique used in processing research data is the normality test as a prerequisite test. In testing the research hypotheses used were paired sample t-test, N-gain test. The results showed that there were differences in the average ability of students' understanding of concepts after applying the Student Teams Achievement Division learning model-assisted ALPIN media, there is an increase in the ability to understand the concepts of students after using the STAD learning model-assisted ALPIN media.

Abstract

An approach is needed to face the challenges of the 21st century and the 4.0 industrial revolution to improve the quality and quality of education, one of which is by introducing teachers to the STEAM approach. This study analyses the profile of elementary school teachers’ understanding of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) approach. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subject of this research is teacher understanding. Data collection in this study was carried out by observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation methods. The instrument used in this study was a non-test instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative descriptive statistical analysis techniques using data triangulation. This study’s results obtained that the number of answers from each respondent’s score obtained an average of 55.58. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the principal and teachers do not know about the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and, Mathematics) as a new approach that can be used in the learning process that involves student activity. This research aims to develop students’ soft skills,  cooperation, critical thinking, environmental care, responsibility, adaptation skills, and creative thinking.

Abstract

The appearance of the book that is less attractive makes students bored in learning. So the need for the application of learning media can help students understand abstract concepts, such as digital comics. This study aimed to develop digital comic learning media on the socio-cultural diversity of fourth-grade elementary school students. The subject of this research is digital comic media, and the object of this research is the validity of the digital comic media that has been developed. This study used a questionnaire method by providing an assessment sheet instrument given to 2 media expert test lecturers, two material expert test lecturers, and two teachers as practitioners. The instrument used to measure the validity of digital comic media is a rating scale in an expert's digital comic media assessment sheet. The data obtained were then analyzed using the mean formula to determine the average validity score of digital comic media. The results of the average validity score of digital comic media obtained from material experts, there is an average validation score as a whole is 4.8, media experts have an average overall validation score of 4.8 and expert practitioners have an average validation score overall is 5.7 with very good qualifications. Based on the results of this analysis, it can be said that digital comic media developed on the topic of socio-cultural diversity are declared valid and suitable for use in student learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan inovasi pengembangan e-book tematik terpadu berbasis multikultural dalam Kegiatan School from home pada tingkat sekolah dasar. Secara rinci, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pentingnya penggunaan e-book berbasis multikultural dalam kegiatan school from home. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang mengacu pada model pengembangan Brog&Gall. Populasi sampel siswa kelas V SD Pakis Gelora Surabaya yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket berdasarkan validasi ahli dan data uji coba lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil validasi ahli (isi/ materi, media, dan desain) pengembangan bahan ajar dinyatakan sangat layak dengan tingkat kelayakan sebesar 91,67% sehingga produk pengembangan dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukan bahan ajar e-book tematik terpadu berbasis multikultural sangat efektif dan sangat diperlukan dalam kegiatan SFH dengan rata-rata penilaian sebesar 94,2%. Dalam e-book tidak hanya terdapat penjabaran materi saja namun siswa juga dapat terkoneksi dengan video pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa dalam memperjelas pemahaman.

Abstract

Student scientific literacy is still low categorized. One of the reasons is that students are memorizing natural science (IPA) materials, which result in poor understanding of science concepts. This study examines the effectiveness of the STEM Oriented Project Based Learning model for elementary science knowledge competencies. This type of research is a Quasi-experiment using Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population was fifth-grade elementary school students, 209 students. This study uses two sample groups, the experimental group, and the control group. The research sample was obtained through random sampling techniques and had passed the equality test. The experimental group in this study amounted to 33 students, and the control group was 30 students. Data were collected using an ordinary multiple-choice objective test and then analyzed by polled variance t-test. The data analysis results showed that t = 2,237> t table = 2,000, with a significance level of 5% and dk = 61 so that H0 was rejected. It means that there is an influence of science knowledge competence between the experimental and control groups. Applying the STEM-oriented project-based learning model can make students more motivated to learn to make it easier to understand science materials.

Abstract

This research aims to develop literature-based instruction materials for sixth grade students of elementary school through story. The method of this research is Design and Development. In developing literature-based instruction materials, this research uses DnD model by Richey and Klien. Some several processes were carried out, such as: 1) Analysing thematic syllabus of sixth grade students to get the topic for materials. 2) Designing to develop blueprint the literature-based instruction material and designing English short story and mini lesson plan by combining the result of analysis and mapping out from the thematic syllabus. 3) Developing English short story and mini lesson plan to become prnted materials book for sixth grade students of elementary school. 4) Evaluating the results of English short story and mini lesson plan. The result of this research revealed ten stories needed, namely: The Snail Race, Master Brawa, The Sun, Bobby and friends, The Good Lion, The Peace Jungle, Three Neighbors, The Winning Team, Prince Panji, and The Fisher. The results of evaluation from experts concluded that the quality of the books developed was very good material

Abstract

The implementation of learning strategies that have not been able to make students enthusiastic in participating in learning activities, is due to the lack of application of creative and innovative learning strategies. This study aims to analyze the strategies applied by religious teachers to students, to determine the effectiveness of the strategies involved in cultivating Islamic thought values at Elementary School. This type of research is descriptive research. The subject of this research is to analyze Islamic education strategies. Data collection was carried out by interview, using instruments in the form of interview guides. The data analysis technique in this study uses descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that the strategy of Islamic religious teachers in instilling the values of Islamic thought in students by implementing the K13 curriculum with the talking stick method and snowballing to create effective learning in order to achieve learning objectives by planning making annual programs, semester programs, learning syllabus, lesson plans, and learning evaluation. The implication of this research is to increase students' interest in learning by inviting students to be enthusiastic about learning, creating student creativity, sharing, and having the courage to convey ideas.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas V SD dengan menggunakan LKS eksploratif berkonteks budaya Banten pada materi volume bangun ruang kubus dan balok. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain penelitian non-equivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Banjar Agung 1 sebanyak 46 siswa. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelompok yaitu kelas VA sebagai kelompok eksperimen sebanyak 23 siswa dan kelas VB sebagai kelompok kontrol sebanyak 23 siswa. Treatment dilakukan pada kelompok eksperimen menggunakan LKS eksploratif berkonteks budaya Banten. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa menjadi lebih baik setelah menggunakan LKS eksploratif berkonteks budaya Banten. Nilai rata-rata yang dicapai kelompok eksperimen 85,93 lebih tinggi dari pada nilai rata-rata kelompok kontrol 74,15. Respon pengguna LKS Eksploratif sebesar 88, 11% dengan kategori sangat baik. Uji-t dua pihak dengan α = 0,05 dan dk = n1 + n2 – 2, diperoleh thitung 3,03 > ttabel 2,01, uji satu pihak didapat bahwa thitung 3,03 > ttabel 1,68. Hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelompok eksperimen lebih baik dari pada kelompok kontrol.
