Abstract

This study aims to develop and test the acceptability of group counseling handbook development in lesson study to enhance student creativity. This handbook is an instrument for counseling guidance teachers in organizing counseling guidance services in schools. The development procedure in this study follows the 4D development model which is limited only to content validation testing. Five experts and guidance counseling practitioners were involved to assess the feasibility of the guidebook. The instrument used for the assessment consisted of 25 items that referred to the acceptability of the manual. The results of the analysis show that the validation of the expert development group counseling guidebook in the setting of lesson study to improve student creativity has a content validity index (CVI) of 0.94 which means very good or special. Based on these results, the development of group counseling handbooks in the setting of lesson studies to enhance student creativity developed in this study has met the eligibility criteria to be used as an instrument in carrying out counseling guidance services.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find a practical procedure in applying the CBT-based Scholastic Talent Test (Computer Based Test) at SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja. The method of this research is development research, namely the development of computer-based tests. There are three stages in this research, namely the preparation of a computer system, test calibration and utilization on a limited scale. The benefit of this research is that it can be used as an alternative to giving Talent Tests by the Guidance Counseling Teacher in providing talent-interest counseling services at the School. Then the use of computers as a substitute for tests that use paper and pencil becomes more efficient and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development of the Achievement Motivation in high school students. This research uses the Research & Development (R&D) method by using the 4D (four-D) model, define, design, develop, & disseminate. But in this study it was modified to 3D, which is define, design, and disseminate. Analysis of instrument validity using the formula CVR and CVI. Reliability test uses the Cronbach Alpha Formula. Based on the analysis it is known that there are 3 items that have a CVR value of 0.60 which are declared valid but need to be revised, and 57 items are declared valid. The instrument validity test results showed that CVI = 0.98 was declared special and the reliability of this instrument was 0.904 with a very high category.

Abstract

Cognitive-behavioral counseling (CBT) is a counseling model development that has widely proven evidence of its feasibility and effectiveness in various settings. This model has developed rapidly and is integrated with various compatible concepts. One of them is integrated with the values or philosophies that developed in society or endogenous values. Tri Kaya Parisudha is one of the philosophies and values of local wisdom which is a reference in the life of the Hindu community, especially in Bali, Indonesia. The values contained in Tri Kaya Parisudha have high relevance and are integrated with the concepts and procedures of CBT. This study describes the meaning of counseling and the stages of CBT which are the basis for the development of the Tri Kaya Parisudha-based philosophy. This counseling model is oriented towards efforts to train the people to understand and implement good thinking (rational), good saying (normative), and well being (adaptive), to develop thoughts, feelings ( emotions)) and healthy behavior. The role of the counselor, as well as the main stages and procedures of this counseling model, include (1) the formation of a counseling relationship, (2) the assessment stage, (3) implementation technique, (4) evaluation, and (5) ) termination. This study has implications for the development of a counseling model that is oriented towards the revitalization of local wisdom values. The results of this study are open to researchers who are interested in further examining this concept. The results of empirical research are needed that prove how effective this model is in various life settings.

Abstract

This research was conducted to be able to provide a behavioral counseling module with relaxation techniques to Primigravida TM III mothers where it is hoped that Primigravida TM III mothers can relax in facing the process of pregnancy and childbirth later. This type of research is Research and Development (R & D), the research model used is Four-D (4 D). The 4D model consists of four stages, namely: define, design, develop and disseminate, but dissemination is not carried out due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Analysis to test the validity of the instrument using the Lawshe CVR and CVI formulas by testing. by 5 experts in their expert fields, namely Guidance and Counseling Experts, Psychology Experts and Health Experts from both educational institutions and Health service providers (Midwives Independent Practice). The results showed that the CVR score was 21.6 and the CVI score was 0.9818, so the content of the product was important and based on data analysis, the value of the product content validity in the form of a behavioral counseling module in Trimester III primigravida was high and significant.

Abstract

This study was aimed to know the procedure of implementing a solution focused brief counseling to improve student autonomy and to study and validating the contents of guidebook for a solution focused brief counseling model. This type of research is research and development (R&D), the research model using Four-D (4D). The Four-D model consists of four stage of research that is defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Data analysis to test the validity of the manual book content using the Lawshe CVR and CVI formulas. Tests carried out by 5 experts who are competent in Counseling and Psychological Guidance. The results of the research based on validity analysis of the content are, the CVR values per item obtained between +1 to 0 (CVR> 0). Furthermore, the results of the Lawshe CVI analysis obtained a score of 0.97 greater than 0 (0.97> 0). Based on the analysis of these data, the validity value of the manual book content is high.

Abstract

Communication is one of the requirements in the implementation of the Guidance and Counseling service. During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the communication process could only be done through an online, including the Guidance and Counseling service at school. So that the application of Information and Communication Technology in Guidance and Counseling services becomes very important as a means of support in conveying information, namely service materials to support online learning activities. Current technological developments force BK teachers to continuously update their knowledge and skills in utilizing Information and Communication Technology. The purpose of this study is to describe the skills of students in utilizing Information Technology in Guidance and Counseling Services. The research method used is descriptive qualitative to describe the skills of students in utilizing various Information and Communication Technology facilities that can support Guidance and Counseling services in schools. Based on the research carried out, it was obtained an average score of 69 in the high, medium and low categories. Of the 70 students who participated, it showed that 51%, namely 36 students, had a score below the average ≤ 69.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the procedures for implementing cognitive behavioral counseling models to improve the attitude of responsibility of high school students and to determine the validity of the contents of the cognitive behavioral counseling guide. Research conducted is research and development or research and development (R&D), the research model used is Four-D (4D). The 4D model consists of four stages of research namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data analysis to test the validity of the manual book product content using the Lawshe CVR and CVI formulas. Testing for products is carried out by 5 experts or experts who are competent in the field of Counseling Guidance. The results of the study based on content validity are CVR values per item +1 to 0 (CVR> 0). Thus, the results of the Lawshe CVI analysis obtained 0.79 greater than 0 (0.79> 0). Based on the analysis of these data the validity value of the contents of this guide product is high.

Abstract

Adolescence is identical with the phase of searching for identity. Therefore, adolescents solve their own problems and have difficulty communicating because parents find it difficult to understand the desires of their teenage children and are frustrated dealing with them so counselors are needed to bridge the communication between parents and adolescents. This type of research is a descriptive study using explanatory research. Respondents used were good teens aged 18 years to 22 years. The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of Peer Counseling (X) and Mental Health (Y). Data were tested by multiple regression analysis using SPSS v 16.00 for Windows. The results of the analysis prove that the variable Peer Counseling gives an influence on mental health as indicated by the calculated F value of 38,709 with a significance value of 0.00 (or <0.05). Prearson correlation coefficient value is 0.668 or 66.8% which means a high level of influence between peer counseling and mental health variables.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the acceptability of the development of an anxiety instrument. The method used was research and development. The design was the 4D model design consisting of 4 stages, namely the stage of definition, design, development, and dissemination. However, the last stage, namely the 'the stage of dissemination' was not carried out because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The data analysis to test the content validity of the anxiety instrument product was the Lawshe CVR and CVI formulas. Based on the results of the CVR calculation, the score was between 0.2 and 1. Furthermore, in the CVI calculation results, the score was 0.817. This score implied that the content validity index of the 60 items in the anxiety instrument was very good. At the step of the reliability test accommodated by Alpha Cronbach and calculated using the Microsoft Excel 2010 for Windows program, the score was 0.896. This score indicated that the reliability level of the anxiety instrument was high.
