Abstract

This study contributes to the literature on SSCM through analyzing the influence of entrepreneurial orientation and culture on the implementation of social sustainable practices in supply chain. The previous research studies have focused on the external and structural forces or the purchasing function. The study has used the SEM-PLS for the analysis of data collected from the manufacturing SEMs operating in Thailand. The current research contributes to the existing literature through giving evidence of strategic choice and cultural attributes possessed by a firm. Moreover, it reflects that basic social practices in the supply chain are the result of sustainability culture. The impact of sustainability culture on the implementation of advanced social practices in supply chain is influenced through entrepreneurial orientation. This study has analyzed the decision-making orientation and internal culture of a firm and the combined influence on the selection of social sustainable practices in supply chain. It has been revealed through results that advance and basic social sustainable practices across the supply chain is positively linked with the level of sustainability culture of a firm. A strong positive association is shown between the sustainability culture of a firm and implementation of both types of social sustainable practices in supply chain. The relation between the adoption of sustainable practices and sustainability culture is variable effected by entrepreneurial orientation. There is no considerable affect entrepreneurial orientation on the basic practices and sustainability culture. This contradicts with the hypothesis that the relation between basic practices of social sustainability in the supply chain and sustainability culture is influenced through entrepreneurial orientation. The study will be helpful for policymakers and researchers.

Abstract

Abstract- Forecasting is an under estimated field of research in supply chain management. Uncertainties inherent in customer demands make it difficult for supply chains to achieve just-in-time inventory replenishment, resulting in loosing sales opportunities or keeping excessive chain-wide inventories. In this paper, we propose two adaptive inventory-control models for a supply chain consisting of one supplier and multiple retailers. Development of an approach that provides the opportunity to construct models for the formation of multidimensional options that describe the forecast image of regions and municipalities. Agreeing with the thesis "the future grows out of the past," the patterns of the past cannot be fully transferred to the future. They should be adjusted in accordance with the existing ideas about the future. To accomplish this opportunity, it is proposed to provide the model of each process with an adaptive mechanism and express the idea of the future with the help of target settings, at which the adaptive change of models is aimed. There has been theoretically substantiated the methodology for constructing adaptively targeted models. Results showed that from cutting costs to keeping consumers happy, forecasting is a vital component of supply chain management, helping companies fill orders on time, avoid unnecessary inventory expenses and plan for price fluctuations.

Abstract

Building trust among different stakeholders of the business and collaborative performance are two most desired organizational outcomes. Such across the board relations largely based on big data exists about these relationships which help to sort out the conflicts. Through the very same big data, manufacturing industry can also look after its external supply chain management practices too. This study has checked the impact of Big Data Analytics Capability (BDAC) on swift trust and collaborative performance in Thailand’s manufacturing sector. Moreover, study has also analyzed the mediating role of external supply chain management in relationship between BDAC and swift trust and BDAC and collaborative performance. Data has been collected from managerial level employees of 39 manufacturing firms of Thailand equipped with big data capability. Questionnaire based data was then analyzed through SPSS and AMOS. BDAC was reflected as a significant predictor of swift trust and collaborative performance in results. Indirect role of external supply chain management was also flagged significant in results. This study is novel due to inclusion of external supply chain management as mediator and it will have its implications for manufacturing sector which can improve their collaborative performance through BDAC driven supply chain management.

Abstract

Abstract- The gist of this article boils down to the comprehensive understanding of the company brand by consumers of linguistic services in a turbulent competition. Development of a brand platform is a stage in building a marketing strategy, which is the foundation for creating a brand. The effective marketing strategy of the company should include the stage of developing a brand platform and be at the forefront in importance, among other issues. And how the company promotes itself in the market, how it promotes itself in the minds of consumers, partners, suppliers, and the media will determine the successful achievement of its strategic goals. Despite the crisis situation, difficult political situation and high rates of foreign currencies, there is still a need for the population to learn English. In this regard, the formation of a marketing strategy and its brand platform of the linguistic center in this market are important, because without it the market will belong exclusively to competitors. Based on the brand platform, the company management understands what consumers are interested in and plans a policy for further development. As part of the marketing strategy a brand platform was proposed for the company. Based on the selected target segment, positioning was carried out based on three points of differentiation: the result for everyone, the simplicity and uniqueness of the methodology and the learning speed. Final positioning concept is formulated in the paper.
