The history of the Journal Journal of Secretary and Business Administration (Henceforth JSAB) is established in June 2017. It is created as a medium for practitioners, lecturers, and researchers interested in studying the disciplines of secretary and business administration, both in theory and practice. It is published twice a year that is in February and August. Due to the technical issues, the first publication was in October 2017. Yet, for the upcoming publication, it will follow the regular schedule.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries withhuge numbers of Internet users. Indonesia's population of 250 million is a big market. Indonesian smartphone users are alsoproliferating. One of the smartphone market leaders is Samsung. This study aimed to determine the effect of country of origin, perceived quality, and brand image on purchase intention. The research design used in this research is causal explanatory. The samplehas beenusing a Samsung Smartphone for more than 1 year and is a student. the number of respondents used is 130 respondents. Based on the results of the study, there is an influence of Country of origin on Purchase Intention of Samsung Smartphone users. There is an influence of Perceived quality on the Purchase Intention of Samsung Smartphone users. There is an influence of Brand image onthePurchase Intention of Samsung Smartphone users. For this reason, researchers suggest Samsung smartphones, to be able to improve Country of origin, Perceived quality, and Brand image as variables that can encourage consumer Purchase Intentions.

Abstract

PT Bridge Marketing Indonesia is an advertising company and has products in the form of cassava chips and yogurt. Based on the observations, it was stated that in providing information to consumers and public, PT Bridge Marketing Indonesia currently only uses social media in the form of Instagram and does not have its own website yet. This project aims to create an information media for PT Bridge Marketing Indonesia which contains a lot of information in it and can build trust from the public. This project was created using the waterfall method as a website creation design and using WordPress as website content management. The result of this project is a company profile website that can be used for PT Bridge Marketing Indonesia as an information medium. This website includes some information starting from home, about, information, product, contact and there is an order button as a link to the marketplace. This website has been tested for website quality using the webqual method and obtained an average result of 4.432 with very good criteria. It is hoped that this website can continue to be improved both in terms of features and appearance so that it can become an attractive website.

Abstract

Balai Besar Pengembangan Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Vokasi Bidang Mesin dan Teknik Industri (BBPPMPV BMTI) as an organisasi dan Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPT) Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan is an institution tasked with implementing education and training programs in the field of machinery and industrial engineering. Based on problem identification, information is obtained that BBPPMPV BMTI's social media needs to be optimized. This is indicated by the low engagement rate value. In an effort to increase the engagement rate value, the institution's social media content development is carried out, namely Facebook (Bbppmpv BMTI Kemdikbud), Instagram (@bmti.kemdikbud), and Twitter (@bmti_kemdikbud). The purpose of this project is to conduct planning, implementation, and evaluation on social media. The data collection method used in this project is the key informant interview method and STP (Segmenting, Targeting, Postioning) analysis analysis. The results of this project are 8 (eight) social media content and Instagram template designs from June 2023 to December 2023 accompanied by an e-manual book. The project success test through engagement rate analysis shows that after the content development is carried out, audience interaction with BPPMPV BMTI social media is in the above average or high category with the engagement rate value for Facebook is 6.72%, Instagram 4.42%, and Twitter 20.5%.

Abstract

PT XYZ a prominent logistics aggregator and warehouse company specializing in freight forwarding and warehouse rental services, has established a robust presence with over 300 warehouses spanning 35 cities in Indonesia. Among its esteemed partners is Client X, a company specializing in household appliances, furniture, and electronic goods. Client X relies on PT XYZ's services to efficiently manage its warehouse operations. This research aims to scrutinize the efficacy of Client X's warehouse layout through an ABC analysis. The classification is based on the frequency of goods movement, both inbound (pallet in) and outbound (pallet out), along with the average demand for goods. Data for the analysis is extracted from the past 3 months, employing a simple moving average. Client X's diverse product range falls into three categories: finished goods, assembling, and electronics, each utilizing dedicated storage methods. The inventory comprises 22 SKUs, with 8 falling under fast-moving goods, 6 under medium-moving goods, and 8 categorized as slow-moving. Among the 22 SKUs, item code 1692 emerges as the most dynamic, witnessing a significant movement of 12 pallets in the last 3 months. This research delves into optimizing Client X's warehouse layout, enhancing efficiency, and streamlining operations for sustained success.

Abstract

Currently, MSMEs are one of the sectors that play a major role in the Indonesian economy. However, in establishing MSMEs, good financial literacy knowledge is needed, because this knowledge can provide an understanding of the basic concepts of financial products, good financial planning and management, as well as protection from financial crime in the form of fraud or fraudulent investments. This study aims to determine what kind of understanding and level of financial literacy owned by MSME players in the Saparua Field area, Bandung City. The research is a descriptive research with quantitative research methods. The data analysis method uses descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. According to the result of the research, it was found that the financial literacy level of Saparua Field MSMEs was at a fairly high and very high level. It was also found that age has a significant influence on the level of financial literacy. The conclusion obtained is that MSMEs in Saparua Field have been well literate in terms of financial literacy.

Abstract

This research aims to optimize the layout of raw material storage by reducing the distance needed to take the required raw materials, random placement of raw materials results in the raw material storage layout being less effective. This research was conducted for three months from August to November by means of observations and interviews with related parties. It is proven that the implementation of the Class Based Storage method can be a solution in structuring raw material warehouses which can provide significant benefits in terms of efficiency and better management of raw materials seen from the frequency of movement of goods before implementing the class based storage method, namely reaching 21,911 meters and after implementation. the frequency of movement distances is 14,691 meters, which shows that there is a decrease in the distance required for collecting raw materials, which indicates the effectiveness of implementing the class based storage method.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to demonstrate the correlation between ecologically conscious consumer behavior, green purchase intention, and green purchase behavior within a Zero Waste Indonesia community. Data was gathered from 175 consumers in Zero Waste Indonesia. A method of research that deals with the collection of numerical data and statistical analysis was used in this study, using questionnaires as the primary data collection technique and journal and national news sources for secondary data collection. The results of this research indicate that green purchase intention is influenced by ecologically conscious consumer behavior, green purchase behavior is influenced by green purchase intention, and ecologically conscious consumer behavior is not affected by green purchase behavior.

Abstract

In today's competitive era of inter-bank competition, companies must be able to adjust the right marketing strategy, because everything is done to maintain the company's existence. Banks are financial institutions that collect funds from the public and then channel them back through credit. To attract consumers or prospective customers, Bank bjb's head office conducts event marketing promotions through concerts by inviting various top artists. It is hoped that this will become an attraction for prospective Bank bjb customers. The purpose of this study was to determine the success of the event marketing of the Tandamata savings and the DIGI Cash Application, in increasing the number of customers at Bank bjb's head office. The research method used is qualitative, with a descriptive approach through interviews and direct observation. The results of the study show that the strategy used by Bank bjb has been effective, as evidenced by the increasing number of Tandamata savings customers, the procedure for opening Tandamata savings can run well, reflected in the convenience provided by Bank bjb to customers. However, for a good marketing event, it must be able to influence the number of customers who open bjb Tandamata savings at bank bjb.

Abstract

The decline of small businesses cannot be separated from dependence on the state, entrepreneurship is not based on the ability to manage the business and regulations are seen as unable to encourage the establishment of small businesses that are dynamic and creative. Business people who we call entrepreneurs need to cultivate a mental attitude, skills and leadership spirit in running their business. The aim of this research is the relationship between entrepreneurship and marketing performance and marketing strategy design. The method used in this research is qualitative using interviews, observation and documentation in the form of writing and images. The results of this research are the strategies used by the Idoal 1 Refillable Drinking Water Depot, namely relying on product advantages such as maintaining cleanliness, health and establishing good communication with customers as well as providing good service to consumers, carrying out online sales, renting vehicles when delivering consumer orders, maintaining the taste of drinking water so that consumers do not change, building cooperation with similar drinking water sellers, and providing maximum service such as responding quickly to consumer orders.

Abstract

A feasibility study on a business is needed which aims to see a picture of whether or not a business is feasible. Maharani Embroidery Handicraft is an MSMEs engaged in the industrial sector founded in 1996 and is located on Jl. D'wiga Regency A5.5, Sudimoro, Malang, East Java. Maharani Embroidery Handicraft sells various kinds of souvenirs, gifts, home decorations, and many more. This research aims to see whether Maharani Embroidery Handicraft is feasible or not. Every aspect that is said to be feasible must have a certain standard value. Assessment to determine business feasibility must be based on several aspects, namely technical aspects, socio-economic aspects, management aspects, marketing aspects, environmental aspects, legal aspects, and financial aspects. The methods used in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. Maharani Embroidery Handicraft is said to be feasible in all aspects except the legal aspect becausethere are several incomplete files.The financial aspect shows that the calculation value above obtained the BEP value in units, namely 362 units, the calculation above obtained the BEP value in rupiah, which was Rp. 111.566,182. All calculation results in financial analysis also show that this business is feasible to run.
