Abstract

ABSTRACT: Purple uwi Banggai (Dioscorea alata L.) is a plant used as a source of carbohydrates and also has many benefits. This research aimed is to know the dosage of ethanol extract of purple uwi Banggai which is effective as anti-inflammatory to white rat (Rattus norvegicus). This research used 25 test animals that were divided into five groups. All groups were induced with 100% egg whites with subplantar method, after 60 minutes each group was given different suspension. The negative control group was given a 0.5% Na CMC suspension, meanwhile positive control group was given 9 mg / 200 gBB mefenamic acid, and the third, fourth, and fifth groups were given test suspension with variation of dose  200, 250, 300 mg / 200 gBB, then measured again inflammation volume with pletismometer for 6 hours with 60 minutes interval. Data were analyzed statistically using ANOVA. The result showed that the ethanol extract of purple uwi Banggai have anti-inflammatory effect on white rat induced egg white 100%. The effective dose as antiinflammatory is 200 mg / 200gBB.

Abstract

The growth of the business world has encouraged the rapid development of the logistics business. To increase competitiveness, companies focus a lot on their core business in order to fulfill customers' desires and expectations, so the company started using Third Party Logistics (TPL) to increase the company's sustainability. The aim of this research is to find out how TPL services are in Indonesia. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research results show that of the 8 best TPL companies in 2022, namely Kamadjaja, Agility, Ceva, DB Schenker, Siba Surya, Puninar, Pancaran, and Deliveree, all of them have implemented types of logistics services in the form of transportation, warehousing, custom service, freight finance service, IT Support, product support, and logistics management and all companies are included in the Customer Developer category where the company takes full care of their needs. For further research, the author suggests further research related to development into the next generation of logistics providers.

Abstract

Dampak pandemi Covid-19 memberikan dampak yang sangat besar bagi industri Indonesia, khususnya dalam hal perekonomian. Hampir setiap bisnis di Indonesia pernah mengalami kegagalan ekonomi. Terutama usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM) dengan modal yang tidak mencukupi untuk tetap bertahan selama pandemi meskipun UKM memberikan kontribusi besar di sektor ekonomi. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplor upaya UMKM dalam bertahan pasca pandemi covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam program pengabdian pada masyarakat ini yaitu melalui webinar dan pendampingan untuk mendekati audiens serta menggunakan analisis SWOT. Selain itu, program ini juga membatasi  pada subsektor makanan dan minuman yang merupakan penyumbang pemasukan negara terbesar dari industri kreatif. Hasil program pengabdian ini menunjukkan secara keseluruhan penyesuaikan diri dengan perubahan kebiasaan, perilaku, dan teknologi yang terjadi selama pandemi menjadi perhatian penting untuk membentuk kembali visi, misi, tujuan, dan rencana bisnis baik secara langsung maupun jangka panjang. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa para pelaku usaha UMKM subsektor makanan dan minuman di Kabupaten Purwakarta berada pada tahap adaptasi terhadap era digital pasca pandemi covid-19. The Covid-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on the Indonesian industry, especially in terms of the economy. Every business in Indonesia has experienced economic failure. Especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with insufficient capital to survive during the pandemic, even though SMEs make a major contribution to the economic sector. This service program aims to explore MSMEs' efforts to survive after the Covid-19 pandemic. The methods used in this community service program are webinars and mentoring to approach the audience and use SWOT analysis. In addition, this program also limits it to the food and beverage subsector, which is the largest contributor to state revenue from the creative industry. The results of this service program show that adjusting to changes in habits, behavior, and technology during a pandemic is an important concern for reshaping vision, mission, goals, and business plans immediately and in the long term. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the food and beverage subsector MSME business actors in Purwakarta Regency are at the stage of adaptation to the digital era after the co-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian pada masyarakat sebagai bagian dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi melalui aksi nyata untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup lansia berupa Tindakan preventif untuk mencegah Alzheimer. Kegiatan ini terdiri dari 3 (tiga) yaitu sosialisasi  melalui poster dan games edukatif serta penanaman tanaman obat keluarga. Metode yang dilaksanakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah sosialisasi yang ditambahkan permainan serta praktik langsung. Hasil dari kegiatan ini lansia dan keluarga mendapatkan pengetahuan mengenai pencegahan Alzheimer dan lansia memiliki aktivitas yang dapat mencegah dirinya terkena Alzheimer yaitu bercocok tanam. Informasi yang memadai mengenai Alzheimer bagi lansia dan keluarga diharapkan dapat menciptakan sistem pendukung yang positif dan sehat dalam mewujudkan lingkungan Kampung Ramah Lansia di Cibiru Wetan.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to demonstrate the correlation between ecologically conscious consumer behavior, green purchase intention, and green purchase behavior within a Zero Waste Indonesia community. Data was gathered from 175 consumers in Zero Waste Indonesia. A method of research that deals with the collection of numerical data and statistical analysis was used in this study, using questionnaires as the primary data collection technique and journal and national news sources for secondary data collection. The results of this research indicate that green purchase intention is influenced by ecologically conscious consumer behavior, green purchase behavior is influenced by green purchase intention, and ecologically conscious consumer behavior is not affected by green purchase behavior.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian pada program CSR PT. Pertamina (Persero) dalam mengembangkan desa wisata Kampung Geblak. Fenomena CSR terus berkembang dari tahun ke tahun, pengembangan desa wisata menjadi salah satu model CSR yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan. desa wisata ini dinilai mampu meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat, namun tidak hanya itu pengembangan desa wisata menyentuh aspek keberfungsian sosial dalam perspektif Pekerjaan sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan fenomena pengembangan desa wisata terkait pemenuhan aspek kompas keberlanjutan serta pengaruhnya pada individu, kelompok dan masyarakat sebagai penerima manfaat program dalam menjalankan keberfungsian sosialnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara, observasi serta studi literatur pada subjek penelitian yaitu masyarakat penerima manfaat, pelaksana program, dan menghimpun informasi dari artikel maupun hasil penelitian sebelumnya. Temuan hasil lapangan menyatakan bahwa pengembangan kampung wisata Jambangan bukan hanya meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat namun meningkatkan keberfungsian sosial warga khususnya dalam menjalankan perannya di dalam pembangunan, sehingga wellbeing dapat tercipta sebab lingkungan fisik (environment) yang dibangun menghasilkan harmonisasi dalam interaksi antar warga masyarakat. Kesimpulan menyatakan bahwa pengembangan kampung wisata mampu memenuhi kriteria kompas keberlanjutan secara ekonomi, sosial, lingkungan serta kesejahteraan uang mendukung pada keberfungsian sosial masyarakat. This article is the result of research on CSR program of PT Pertamina (Persero) in developing the Kampung Geblak tourist village. The development of tourist villages is one of most popular model the CSR implementation by companies. This tourist village not only improve the community's economy capability but also touches social functioning aspects from a social work perspective. The aim of this research is to discover the phenomenon of tourism village development related to fulfilling the sustainability compass aspect and its influence on individuals, groups and communities as beneficiaries in carrying out their social functions. The research method used is a qualitative approach by conducting interviews, observations and literature studies on research subjects; beneficiary, program implementers, also collecting information from articles and previous research results. The findings of it state that the development of the Jambangan tourist village not only increases community income but also the social functioning of residents, especially in carrying out their role in development, so that wellbeing can be created due to the physical environment which produces harmonization in interactions between community members. The conclusion states that the development of a tourist village is able to meet the criteria of sustainability compass economically, socially, environmentally and welfare and support the social functioning of the community.

Abstract

The Bandung City Government (TBCG) strives to maintain price stability and ensure the availability of essential commodities. However, the characteristics of trade and distribution in Bandung remain insufficiently identified, limiting effective policymaking. This study explores these characteristics to support policy formulation for price stability and supply availability. Using a qualitative approach, the research involved surveys of 11 large-scale and 125 small-scale retailers, documentation studies, interviews, observations, and focus group discussions (FGDs). Data analysis included transcription, coding, and characteristic description. The findings highlight that four key products: rice, sugar, flour, and cooking oil, require particular attention for supply stability and price control. Stable prices are achieved through cooperation between producers, traders, consumers, and TBCG, which actively monitors the availability of affordable goods. TBCG also shows a strong commitment to protecting the public and traders from price fluctuations, especially during harvest and off-season periods. This study contributes valuable insights into Bandung’s commodity trade dynamics, offering guidance for policymakers to strengthen regulations that ensure the sustainability of supply chains and price stability. Recommendations include enhancing monitoring systems, improving collaboration among stakeholders, and introducing adaptive regulations to address seasonal fluctuations and safeguard long-term food security.

Abstract

The Entrepreneurship Workshop: Guide to Successful Entrepreneurship Competitions was conducted to address the challenges faced by university mentors in providing effective guidance to entrepreneurial students. These challenges include a lack of strategic methods and limited exposure to best practices in entrepreneurship mentoring. The workshop aimed to enhance the competencies of 100 entrepreneurship mentors at Universitas Syiah Kuala by providing practical knowledge and tools.The activity employed a Service Learning (SL) method, integrating theoretical and practical approaches through case-based learning, simulations, and discussions. Participants were introduced to project-based mentoring strategies, digital and financial literacy, and entrepreneurial ecosystems. The workshop also incorporated insights from successful entrepreneurship programs implemented at Universitas Padjadjaran's OoRange Business Incubator.The results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding and readiness, evidenced by an increase in average pre-test scores from 65 to post-test scores of 85. Additionally, 92% of participants reported high satisfaction with the workshop. The activity has contributed to enhancing mentoring effectiveness and preparing students for entrepreneurship competitions. This initiative supports the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems in universities and aligns with the goals of quality education and economic growth as outlined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance the digital marketing skills of student entrepreneurs at Universitas Syiah Kuala by optimizing the use of WhatsApp Business. Many young entrepreneurs lack familiarity with digital tools that can streamline business operations and expand market reach. This training was designed to address this gap by introducing participants to the practical features of WhatsApp Business. Utilizing the Service Learning (SL) method, the activity included presentations, hands-on practice, and evaluations. The training covered key WhatsApp Business features such as profile setup, product catalog management, and customer messaging. Results showed a marked increase in participants' understanding, with 85% reporting improved competence in using the app for business purposes and 90% expressing greater confidence in leveraging digital marketing tools. This activity highlights the potential of simple, accessible digital tools in supporting young entrepreneurs and contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in promoting economic growth and digital literacy.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to enhance the understanding of waqf, zakat, and infaq (WZI) management among students and lecturers of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Syiah Kuala. The activity was carried out in collaboration with Center for WAZAN University Putra Malaysia and several academic partners. The core issue addressed was the lack of integrated knowledge and practical insight into the management of Islamic social funds, which are vital in achieving social justice and poverty alleviation. Using the service learning method, the activity combined direct instruction, reflection, and interactive discussion with expert facilitators. The event took place at Center for WAZAN UPM on January 14, 2025, involving 10 participants. Results showed a significant increase in participants understanding, as demonstrated by a 46% improvement between pre-test and post-test scores. This indicates the effectiveness of collaborative and contextual approaches in strengthening WZI literacy and contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in quality education and poverty reduction.
