Abstract

Hugh Clifford  pernah menulis dalam catatannya The Court and Kampung -   ‘Until British interference changed the conditions which existed in Pahang, that country was the best type of an independent Malay State in the Peninsula, and much that was to be seen and learned in Pahang, in the days before the appointment of a British Resident, cannot now be experienced in quite the same measure anywhere else’. Kenyataan ini menyokong kuat wujudnya pentadbiran yang baik di negeri Pahang sebelum kedatangan British ke negeri ini. Mempunyai landskap geografi sebagai negeri paling luas di Semenanjung Malaysia, sudah pasti negeri ini memerlukan satu  sistem pentadbiran yang  berkesan dan kedaulatan raja memerintah yang hebat agar ia mampu berdiri teguh menyantuni sekian ramai rakyatnya. Periode Kesultanan Pahang Moden membuktikan mereka sebagai pendukung institusi ini begitu menghargai amalan istiadat nenek moyang sehingga ia menjadi premis asas pemerintahan di setiap generasi. Kajian ini bakal  mengupas istiadat pertabalan diraja negeri Pahang dengan penelitian terhadap  tatacara, falsafah dan akhirnya menjurus kepada satu dapatan bagaimana istiadat pertabalan diraja ini mampu berfungsi sebagai satu mekanisme kearah mewujudkan pemerintahan berdaulat. Metode yang digunakan ialah kaedah analisis kandungan  dengan memperinci falsafah disebalik tatacara istiadat pertabalan diraja yang diamalkan di negeri Pahang. Turut dihuraikan isi kandung sistem adat istiadat diraja yang diamalkan melalui catatan dari naskah-naskah  klasik. Hasilnya dapatlah disimpulkan, hebatnya sesebuah pemerintahan bukan sahaja ditandai oleh pembangunan fizikal malah ia turut digagaskan oleh sebuah institusi pemerintahan yang berdaulat dan mendapat kesetiaan penuh dari rakyat jelata.

Abstract

This article examines the identity of the Banjar people who have been trapped in issues of ethnicity, religion and culture. The social construction of the identity of contemporary or urban Banjar people is still not touched by many researchers. Known as a religious and obedient society, the urban Banjar people cannot avoid contact with the clash of differences, where the presence of the internet makes it easy to clash or friction with various things. Living in the postmodern era, the Banjar community met with digital culture and consumerism. Both are very susceptible to coloring Islam, which is also happened in forming the identity of the Banjar people itself. Two important questions in this article, namely what do the Banjar people face in the postmodern era? And what is the effect on the construction of the identity of the Banjar people? In fact, the spirituality of the Banjar community which is touched by digital culture and consumerism is transformed by infecting the secular side and the melting of traditionalism in Banjar's public life. The culture of Ahlussunnah wal jamaah of the Banjar community is no longer rigid but mingles with several different ideologies or ideologies. The Islamic identity of the Banjar people is no longer dominated by the ideology of Aswaja. At the same time, political conditions play an active role, so there is silence on the worship side because it is intertwined with consumerism, digital culture and the strengthening of the flow of Islamic populism in society. Artikel ini mengulik identitas masyarakat Banjar yang selama ini masih terjebak dalam persoalan etnisitas, keberagamaan dan kebudayaan. Konstruksi sosial atas identitas urang Banjar kontemporer atau urban masih belum banyak disentuh oleh banyak peneliti. Dikenal sebagai masyarakat yang religious dan taat beribadah, urang Banjar urban tidak bisa mengelak bersentuhan dengan benturan berbagai perbedaan, di mana dengan kehadiran internet memudahkan terjadi benturan atau gesekan dengan berbagai hal. Hidup di era pascamodern, masyarakat Banjar berjumpa dengan kultur digital dan budaya konsumerisme. Dua kultur yang sangat rentan mewarnai keberislaman, yang mana juga sebagai identitas urang Banjar itu sendiri. Dua pertanyaan penting dalam artikel ini, yaitu apa saja yang dihadapi dalam kehidupan masyarakat Banjar di era pascamodern? Dan apa pengaruhnya terhadap konstruksi identitas urang Banjar? Spritualitas masyarakat Banjar yang dijamah kultur digital dan konsumerisme bertransformasi dengan menjangkiti sisi sekuler dan mencairnya tradisionalisme di kehidupan publik Banjar. Kultur Ahlussunnah wal Jamaah masyarakat Banjar tidak lagi rigid dan berbaur cair dengan beberapa paham atau ideologi yang berbeda. Identitas Keberislaman urang Banjar tidak lagi didominasi dibatasi ideologi Aswaja. Di saat yang sama kondisi politik turut memainkan peran aktif, sehingga terjadi pendangkalan pada sisi peribadatan karena berkelindan dengan konsumerisme, kultur digital dan menguatnya arus populisme Islam di masyarakat.

Abstract

This article examines the treasures of the Arabic Malay books (Kitab Jawi) which have a wealth of Malay local wisdom. There are three important aspects of the contents of the Malay books discussed in this article, namely: (1) uruf and Malay local wisdom; (2) the principle of Malay local wisdom formula and (3) proof of Kitab Jawi as Malay local wisdom that can be promoted at this time. The results of this study confirm several things. First, the awareness of the world community about local wisdom belonging to the community of the non-European may be filled by expressing the concept of local wisdom based on Islamic knowledge. Secondly, the constructs and formulas of Malay local wisdom are indeed rather unique because they are the result of the sentiment between Islam and Malay thought. Third, Kitab Jawi is indeed the most important product of local Malay Islamic wisdom. This can be seen in terms of the formation of Jawi writings and the constructs of science that were awakened by previous Malay scholars. Artikel ini mengkaji khazanah kitab-kitab Arab Melayu (Kitab Jawi) yang memiliki kekayaan akan kearifan lokal Melayu. Ada tiga aspek penting kandungan kitab-kitan Melayu yang dibahas dalam artikel ini, yaitu :  (1) uruf dan kearifan lokal Melayu; (2) asas formula kearifan lokal Melayu dan (3) pembuktian kitab jawi sebagai kearifan lokal Melayu yang bisa dipromisikan di masa ini. Hasil kajian ini menegaskan beberapa hal. Pertama, kesadaran masyarakat dunia tentang kearifan lokal milik masyarakat peribumi bukan Eropa boleh diisi dengan mengemukakan konsep kearifan lokal berasaskan ilmu melayu Islam. Kedua, konstruk dan formula kearifan lokal Melayu memang agak unik kerana merupakan hasil sentesis antara Islam dengan pemikiran Melayu. Ketiga, kitab jawi memang merupakan produk kearifan lokal Melayu Islam yang terpenting. Ini dapat dilihat dari segi pembentukan tulisan jawi dan konstruk ilmu yang dibangunkan oleh ulama melayu masa silam.

Abstract

Memprediksi batu permata dilakukan oleh Sulaiman bin Rawi di Kecamatan Kapuas Timur adalah dalam rangka untuk mengetahui khasiat dari batu permata tersebut. Adapun peralatan  untuk mengetahui khasiat batu permata adalah  benang, batu permata, panduan khusus berupa kerta yang bergambar lingkaran yang di dalamya bertentuk jari-jari. Pada lingkaran dan jari-jari terdapat tulisan nama 25 orang nabi serta khasiat khasiat batu permata yang menggunakan tulisan huruf Arab Melayu dan ketika hendak mengetahui khasiat batu permata dengan menggunakan bacaan tertentu dari ayat Alquran, (QS:  An-Naml :30). Adapun cara untuk mengetahui khasiat sebuah batu permata adalah batu permata diikat dengan benang dan ujung benang dipegang dengan telunjuk dan ibu jari. Benang diangkat sehingga batu bergantung tepat di atas sebuah panduan yang berbentuk lingkaran yang bertuliskan nama nabi dan khasiat batu permata. Dalam posisi tangan yang tidak bergerak dibacakan ayat Alquran surah An-Naml ayat 30, kemudian  terlihat batu permata bergerak atau berayun dengan sendirinya dan menuju nama nabi dan khasiat tertentu. Sehingga diketahu khasiat atau baik tidaknya sebuah batu permata itu. Sebagian masyarakat Banjar mempercayai masing-masing batu permata yang alami mempunyai khasiat  seperti: menolak kefakiran, mengangkat derajat, menyembuhkan penyakit, membuat kebal dan lain-lain. Hal ini semata-mata kelebihan yang  merupakan anugerah dari Allah kepada benda atau ciptaan-Nya.

Abstract

Development of Sufism in the archipelago is one icon in view of the problems connected with the Sufi. Sufism is the diversity of colour patterns of thought of religious life, while religious practice to be a representation of the diversity of religious thought to be highly variable and often decorated with the interview "controversial" a very sharp. In the context of religious institutions belonging to the tarekat also have a variety of variants, so that a diverse group of tarekat scattered every where and have the characteristics of each in accordance with religious discourse and the "religious experience" developer congregation. In fact there are some "differences" between the executive tarekat in an area with other regions, although with the same tarekat. Sheikh Muhammad Arsyad Al-Banjary as a prolific writer in various fields of Islamic sciences, such as Tawheed, Fiqh and Sufism. Among his works is the Kanz al-patterned ma'rifah Sufism, but in some discussion related to religious practices and traditions of the congregation are very close, but the Sammaniyah tarekat who had been brought closer to the Al-Banjary Arsyad not so visible in Kanz al-Ma 'rifah but Syaziliyah tarekat who are more visible.

Abstract

Takhrij is an important method in science of hadith and one of the methodology used by hadith scholar to determine the position ofhadith issued to know the source and the status of hadith either maqbul or mardud. There are 101 dua’ from hadith found, with unknown specified source and status. The objective of this research is purposely to reveal both the validity and to rereview the status of hadith by takhrij means. The methodology used for this research are qualitative by analyzing each hadith with referring to original and authorised scriptures in order to determine the authentic  sources as well as status of the hadiths. In conclusion, 52% of the hadiths consist of hadiths maqbul, while 47% of hadiths are mardud, the rest 2% are irrelevent. This study provides contribution for hadith researchers and communities in practising the daily dua’ sourced authentic hadith.

Abstract

The process to educate children is not easy. It should be well planned, well organized, focus and in line with Islamic thought. Preparation for children education should be started ever since a man or a woman tries to find his/her spouse. In Islam, the first fundamental requirement in choosing a soul mate is religion and good characters. A spouse who is devout to Allah the Almighty and his prophet Muhammad pbuh will generate a virtuous generation. Then, this generation is going to be the key people in creating peace and prosperiy on the earth.

Abstract

AbstractThere are so many studies discuss mahabbah according to prominent Sufi figures. This study will elaborate on the concept of mahabbah from the perspective of nature, Sufism, and revelation in the view of Ibn Taimiyah, a prominent Muslim thinker who is known to be a very critical of the teachings and practices in Sufism. This paper is a library research utilizing a Sufism approach. The data in this work were obtained using documentary techniques by referring to the main work of Ibn Taimiyah, namely Qa'idah fi al-Mahabbah. The collected data were analyzed employing descriptive-analysis method. This paper finds that Ibn Taimiyya used different terms from the Sufis to describe the highest level of mahabbah. For most Sufis, the highest level of mahabbah is expressed by the term ishq. As for Ibn Taimiyya, the word ishq is a form and level of excessive love and is therefore considered corrupted. Instead of ishq, Ibn Taimiyya preferred the term khullah. Like the Sufis, Ibn Taimiyya also stated that everything that happens in this world is because of mahabbah of Allah. Then, according to Ibn Taimiyah, mahabbah is closely related to worship, because worship is a form of perfect love of the servant to his Creator. Mahabbah also has a close relationship with ma'rifatullah, because by knowing  God; knowing His names and His attributes will lead to perfect worship and perfect love (mahabbah).ملخص البحثكثرت البحوث والدراسات التي تناقش المحبة في أفكار الصوفية البارزين. وستتناول هذه الدراسة بالكشف عن مفهوم المحبة بمنظور علم الطبيعة والتصوف والوحي عند ابن تيمية، المفكر المسلم البارز المعروف بالنقد القوي لتعاليم وممارسات التصوف. هذه المقالة عبارة عن دراسة مكتبية باستخدام الدراسة الصوفية. وأخذت بيانات هذه الدراسة من التقنيات الوثائقية بالرجوع إلى العمل الرئيسي لابن تيمية، وهو "القاعدة في المحبة". ثم تم تحليل البيانات المجمعة باستخدام منهج التحليل الوصفي. وبعد البحث والتحليل وجد الباحثون أن ابن تيمية استخدم مصطلح مختلف عن الصوفية لوصف أعلى مستوى المحبة. بالنسبة لمعظم الصوفيين فإنه يتم التعبير عن أعلى مستوى المحبة بمصطلح "عشق". أما ابن تيمية فإنه يرى أن كلمة "ِعشق" هي درجة من الحب المفرط الذي يؤدي إلى المفهوم المخطئ. بدلا من عشق ، فضل ابن تيمية مصطلح "الخلّة". ثم ذكر ابن تيمية أن كل ما يحدث في هذا الكون يرجع إلى فضل الله و محبته. ثم ذهب بأن المحبة ترتبط ارتباطًا وثيقًا بالعبادة ، لأن العبادة هي شكل من أشكال الحب الكامل للخالق. كما أن المحبة لها علاقة وثيقة بمعرفة الله. لأنها بمعرفة الله: معرفة أسمائه وصفاته ستؤدي إلى عبادة كاملة ومحبة تامة.
