Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran berbasis Edmodo dapat meningkatkan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Manduamas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Manduamas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 108 siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan dengan cluster simple random sampling yaitu kelas X-IPA1 yang berjumlah 21 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil observasi gambaran pembelajaran berbasis edmodo diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,00. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui gambaran kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa sebelum pembelajaran berbasis edmodo diperoleh berada pada kategori cukup dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 64,48. Kemudian gambaran kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa setelah pembelajaran berbasis edmodo diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 81,33 dengan kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang dilakukan diketahui 0.000 < 0.005 artinya “Terdapat peningkatan pemecahan masalah matematis ditinjau dari pembelajaran berbasis edmodo pada siswa kelas X IPA-1 SMA Negeri 1 Manduamas”. Kemudian ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 61.90% perolehan persentase tersebut berada pada kategori efektif. Adapun nilai N-Gain sebesar 0.54 berada pada klasifikasi sedang.

Abstract

Learning devices are part of supporting the learning atmosphere in order to achieve the desired goals. Without the support of good learning tools, it is very difficult to create effective learning. To ensure the implementation of good learning, learning tools are needed that meet various aspects, one of which is the validity of learning tools. This study aims to describe the level of validity of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning device in teaching students' critical thinking skills in mathematics. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research. The subject of the research is a learning device which includes lesson plans and student activity sheet (SAS) on the material of Relations and Functions for students of SMP/MTs class VIII. The object of research is the level of validity of the learning device. The instrument used is a learning device validation sheet which includes a lesson plan validation sheet and a SAS validation sheet. Data was collected through filling out the learning device validation sheet from five validators to get assessments and suggestions for learning tools. The results of the analysis of the validation sheet show that in general the RPP meets the valid criteria with a validity index of 0.74 and the SAS also meets the valid criteria with a validity index of 0.73. Thus, it is concluded that cooperative learning tools in teaching students' critical thinking skills in mathematics are valid.

Abstract

The background of the research is the Covid - 19 pandemic that hit all countries in parts of the world, including Indonesia. This problem creates a home learning program policy by implementing online learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the use of power points in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Andam Dewi.The approach of the research used qualitative descriptive by applying data analysis technique which includes data reduction, presentation, and taking conclusion. Questionnaire and interview were used in collecting the data with 15 students as the respondents. The result of the research shows 4 students are decent, 7 students are enough decent, and 4 students are less decent. It’s concluded that the average of using power point is 35.26% (enough decent).

Abstract

The aim of this research is to know the impact of applying google classroom toward teachers and students SMK Negeri 1 Marancar online learning in pandemic period. The approach of the research used qualitative descriptive and triangulation was applied on data analysis technique which included interview, documentation, and questionnaire. Data sources were 2 teachers and 10 students. The result of the research shows the impact of online learning is positive impact which includes increase students and teachers ability of using ICT, shorter study time, learning can be done anywhere, and availability of adequate file storage space, and minimize of using paper. Furthermore, negative impact includes difficult to apply the right learning methods and media, learning materials are only in the form of documents, network interference, additional costs for buying internet quota, unfavorable class atmosphere, students become lazy to study, low student manners, teachers and students have to have adequate smartphone.

Abstract

This article discusses supporting applications for learning mathematics during the Covid-19 pandemic. The corona virus or Covid-19 is currently sweeping the world, including Indonesia, participating in influencing the world of education where the teaching and learning process is usually carried out face-to-face in classrooms due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the teaching and learning process must be done through distance learning (online ). Technology-based learning media that is commonly used are computers. To support computers, we need software in the form of applications. With the application, it is hoped that teachers and students will be more optimal in carrying out teaching and learning activities online. An important application to support mathematics learning is because mathematics is abstract and is often considered difficult by students. Some of these applications are Geogebra, Matlab, Wingeom, Microsoft Math 3.0 and Microsoft Math 4.0. This study aims to assist teachers and students in using applications that support mathematics learning.

Abstract

E-learning-based interactive mathematics teaching materials are a means of learning mathematics that can be used by educators to assist students in the learning process using electronics such as mobile phones and computers. The teaching materials also help educators and students learn outside of school and at a distance. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) based on the 4D research and development model. The stages carried out are the defining stage, the planning stage (design), the development stage (develop), and the dissemination stage (disseminate). The results of the validation of teaching materials obtained on the feasibility aspect of the content are 3.58, the linguistic aspect is 3.67 and for the presentation feasibility aspect is 3.53. Student learning outcomes come from the pre-test and post-test scores. The average score of students in the pre-test activity was 40.25, while the post-test was 82.19.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) Kelas IX A SMP Negeri 13 Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengambilan subjek penelitian dilakukan dengan memberikan tes soal esai pada siswa kelas IX A yang kemudian dari hasil tersebut 3 subjek penelitian berdasarkan kategori yang telah ditentukan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang memuat 3 butir soal dengan materi lingkaran tipe HOTS dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian kemampuan komunikasi siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS yaitu pada ketiga subjek menunjukkan hasil yang berbeda-beda setiap subjek. Subjek S1 memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang paling tinggi secara tertulis dan lisan dengan mendapatkan 42 skor berdasarkan dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan. Kemudian, subjek S2 mendapatkan 38 skor dan subjek S3 memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang paling rendah diantara ketiga subjek yang ada yaitu mendapatkan 34 skor. Berdasarkan dari hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketiga subjek yaitu S1, S2, dan S3 memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang baik dalam menyelesaikan HOTS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penggunaan model pembelajaran Team Accelerated Instruction (TAI) dan peningkatannya terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi pokok keliling dan luas bangun datar di kelas IV SD Negeri 200304 Padangsidimpuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tiga siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 200304 Padangsidimpuan yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: hasil belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran TAI di kelas IV SD Negeri 200304 Padangsidimpuan meningkat dibuktikan pada siklus I memperoleh persentase sebesar 54%, pada siklus II 83%, dari siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 29%. Kinerja guru melalui model pembelajaran TAI di kelas IV SD Negeri 200304 Padangsidimpuan meningkat dapat dilihat pada persentase observasi responden guru pada siklus I sebesar 67,50% kategori “Cukup” dan siklus II 82,50% kategori “Baik”, dari siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 15,0%. Aktivitas belajar siswa melalui model pembelajaran TAI dari siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 48,49% yang mana persentase observasi aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 67,19% kategori “Cukup” dan siklus II 81,25% kategori “Baik”, dari siklus I ke siklus II mengalami peningkatan sebesar 14,06%.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe teachers’ readiness, teachers’ obstacles, and teachers’ efforts to overcome the obstacles in online learning in pandemic period of SMP Negeri 1 Sorkam. The research was conducted by applying qualitative descriptive method. Interview, questionnaire, and documentation were used in collecting the data. The data was analysis by applying data reduction, data presentation, and taking conclusion. The result of Sthe research showed (1) the average of teachers’ readiness in online learning in pandemic period was 3.00 (good category), 2) teachers’ obstacles in online learning in pandemic period were included the internet network was not good and the electricity network often went out, and 3) teachers’ efforts to overcome the obstacles in online learning in pandemic period was conducted offline.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe of the learning theory of Robert Mills Gagne and the applying in learning mathematics on the students in Pananggahan Village. The research was conducted by applying descriptive qualitative. Instrument of the research included questionnaire (Guttman scale) and documentation. The respondents of the research consist of 30 students. The result of the research shows 1) the learning theory of Robert Mills Gagne is the process of changing one's behavior as a result of processing new information with previous experiences and 2) The applying the learning theory of Robert Mills Gagne in learning mathematics at the students of Pananggahan Village in Covid -19 pandemic haves troubles because students’ lack of concentration in doing the assignments given by the teacher, students feel bored with learning mathematics online, students do not understand the material presented by the teacher online, there are too many assignments given by the teacher, and many students do not have electronic facilities.
