Abstract

ABSTRAK Kanker payudara merupakan salah satu kanker dengan insidensi terbanyak, terutama pada wanita. Perkembangan terapi banyak dilakukan untuk meningkatkan survival dan prognosis pasien kanker payudara. Variasi pilihan terapi kanker payudara diberikan dengan mempertimbangkan banyak faktor, meliputi usia, status menopausal, komorbid, stadium kanker, faktor biologis dan riwayat kemoterapi. Optimasi kualitas hidup selama terapi merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Chemotherapy Induced Nausea Vomitting (CINV) merupakan efek samping yang sering terjadi dan dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien kanker yang melakukan kemoterapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui respon mual muntah, kepatuhan pasien terhadap obat anti mual muntah yang diberikan dan hubungan antara kepatuhan penggunaan anti mual muntah dan respon mual muntah pasien kanker payudara di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo terhadap obat anti mual muntah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional yang dilakukan dengan rancangan studi deskriptif dan analitik melalui penelusuran data secara prospektif terhadap pasien kanker payudara di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekardjo. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa Respon mual muntah merupakan respon terbanyak yang ditimbulkan oleh pemberian agen kemoterapi baik pada fase acute emesis (80%) dan delayed emesis (90%). Sebanyak 79% pasien patuh terhadap regimen antiemetik yang diberikan. Tidak ada hubungan antara kepatuhan penggunaan antiemetik dan respon mual muntah pada pasien kanker payudara di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo. Kata kunci: kanker payudara, CINV, respon mual muntah, kepatuhan. ABSTRACT Breast cancer is one of the cancers with the highest incidence, especially in women. The development of therapy has been implemented to improve the survival and prognosis of breast cancer patients. Breast cancer treatment is given by considering many factors, including age, menopausal status, comorbidities, stage of cancer, biological factors and history of chemotherapy. Optimization of quality of life during treatment is very important. Chemotherapy Induced Nausea vomitting (CINV) is a common side effect and can affect the quality of life of cancer patients. The aims of this study are to know response of nausea vomitting, patients adherence, relationship between adherence and response of nausea vomitting. This study is an observational study conducted by descriptive and analytic study design in Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo hospital. The results of this study are the nausea and vomitting response are the most in the acute emesis phase (80%) and delayed emesis (90%). A total of 79% were adherent to antiemetics therapy. There is no relationship between adherence and the response of nausea vomitting in Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo hospital. Abstract

The emergence of resistance to drugs used to treat TB, and particularly multi-drug-resistant TB (MDR TB), has become a significant public health problem and an obstacle to effective TB control. The resistance is a condition where drugs used to treat TB are not able to kill germs M. tubercolusis. This study aimed to evaluate the success of MDR TB treatment programs in Banyumas include the level of knowledge of TB officer, suitability guidline health care center in Banyumas with national guidelines and describe the factors that affect the implementation of MDR TB program. A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted from for three months. Quantitative analysis using questionnaires to measure the level of knowledge of TB officers and a checklist for suitability guidline health care center in Banyumas with national guidelines. Qualitative analysis using structured interviews to TB officer or the head of the health care center to explore factors inhibiting and supporting MDR TB control program in the district of Banyumas health centers. The results showed that the level of knowledge officer of MDR was 85.56% in the high category (75% -100%). Level governance suitability MDR TB treatment with national guidelines of 86.94%. Factors that may affect the success of MDR TB program is the economic factor, factor of health workers, patient factors and factors of facilities and infrastructure Key words: TB-MDR drugs used to treat TB, program, evaluation.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kadar organoklorin dalam simplisia kunyit dan validasi metode analisis spektrofotometri UV-Vis untuk identifikasi organoklorin. Metode ini didasarkan pada pembentukan kompleks antara ion (II) tiosianat dan besi (III) dan diamati absorbansinya pada panjang gelombang 455,5 nm. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan kadar rata-rata organoklorin sebesar 324,879 µg/g. Hasil validasi metode analisis yang dilakukan didapatkan harga standar deviasi (SD), koefisien variasi, dan ketelitian alat pada uji presisi alat masing-masing sebesar 2,4835.10-3 , 0,7780%, dan 99,9922%. Harga persen perolehan kembali (Recovery) rata-rata dan kesalahan sistemik masing-masing sebesar 108,984 % dan 8,984%.. Sedangkan pada uji linearitas didapatkan harga intersep, slope dan r masing-masing sebesar 0,127, 0,00345 and 0,9855. Sehingga diperoleh persamaan regresi linier kurva baku y = 0,00345x + 0,127 . Limit deteksi dan limit kuantitasi diperoleh harga sebesar 21,565 ppm dan 71,884 ppm. Kata kunci : Organoklorin, Simplisia kunyit, Spektrofotometri UV-Vis. ABSTRACT The aim of this research are to know the validity of UV-Vis spectrophotometry methods and to determinate organochlorine detection in turmeric simplisia. This metode is based on the complex formation of iron(III) and thiocyanate ions and the absorption was measured at 455,5 nm. The result of analysis was the mean of organochlorine content in turmeric simplisia is 324,879 µg/g. Result of validation analysis standard deviation (SD), coefficient variation (CV) and correctness of appliance at precesion test appliance are 2,4835.10-3 , 0,7780%, dan 99,9922% respectively. Method accuration test recovery and systematical error are 108,984 % and 8,984% respectively. Linearity test intersep, slope and r are 0,127, 0,00345 and 0,9855 respectively. The equation of standard curve linear regression y = 0,00345x + 0,127. Limit of detection and limit quantitation test are got price equal to 21,565 ppm dan 71,884 ppm respectively. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian vitamin C terhadap kadar kolesterol total serum tikus hiperlipidemia yang telah di beri jus Aloe vera. Linn. Penelitian dilakukan dengan desain Pre and Post Randomized Controlled  Group Design, menggunakan tikus Wistar yang telah dibuat hiperlipidemia. Tikus diberi jus Aloe vera Linn dengan dosis 4 ml/kg BB/hari selama 15 hari. Kemudian dilanjutkan pemberian vitamin C selama 3 hari dengan dosis 3,38 mg/kg BB dan 11,25 mg/kg BB. Pemeriksaan kadar kolesterol total serum menggunakan metode  CHOD-PAP. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji t berpasangan dan anova pada derajat kemaknaan  5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian vitamin C secara bermakna menurunkan kadar kolesterol total serum pada tikus hiperlepidemia yang telah diberi jus  Aloe vera. Linn. Peningkatan dosis vitamin C berpengaruh secara bermakna dalam menurunkan kadar kolestrol total serum tikus.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penghambatan proses angiogenesis merupakan salah satu strategi menghambat perkembangan kanker. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek antiangiogenesis fraksi VI dan VII ekstrak metanolik kayu secang (Caesalpinia sappan L.) menggunakan model pembuluh darah pada mata tikus. Mata tikus diberi perlakuan bFGF (induktor angiogenesis) dan ekstrak metanolik kayu secang selama 8 hari selanjutnya diamati respon angiogenesisnya. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil ekstrak metanolik kayu secang mampu menghambat angiogenesis pada mata tikus. Respon angiogenesis untuk fraksi VI dosis 200, 400 µg/mL dan fraksi VII dosis 500, 1000 µg/mL masing-masing secara berurutan adalah sebesar (dalam %) 5 ± 7,07; 0 ± 0; 6,25 ± 8,83; 8,33 ± 0. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa fraksi VI dan VII ekstrak metanolik kayu secang memiliki efek antiangiogenesis. Kata kunci: antiangiogenesis, mata tikus, Caesalpinia sappan L. ABSTRACT Inhibition of angiogenesis has become a strategy to inhibit cancer development. The aim of the research is to investigate antiangiogenesis effect of 6th and 7th fractions of secang wood methanol extract (Caesalpinia sappan L.) in situ using rat eyes. Rat eyes were treated with b-FGF (angiogenesis inductor) and extracts during eight days to observe its angiogenesis response. The results showed that the secang wood methanol extracts could inhibit angiogenesis in rat eyes. Doses 200, 400 µg/mL of 6th fraction and doses 500, 1000 µg/mL of 7th fraction gave angiogenesis response of (in percent) 5 ± 7.07; 0 ± 0; 6.25 ± 8.83; 8.33 ± 0, respectively. These results indicate that the fractions have antiangiogenic effect. Key words: antiangiogenic, rat eyes, Caesalpinia sappan L.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kemampuan antioksidan dari ekstrak air buah salak Salacca zalacca (Gaertn.) Voss varian gula pasir melalui aktivitas penangkapan radikal bebas 1,1-difenil-2-pikrilhidrazil (DPPH). Harga Inhibition Concentration (IC50) dari ekstrak buah salak yang menunjukkan kemampuan suatu bahan dalam menghambat 50% dari total 100% radikal DPPH sebesar 40,89±6,35 μg/mL. Sedangkan kontrol positif kuersetin memiliki harga IC50 sebesar 8,79±0,90 μg/mL. Berdasarkan harga IC50, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak buah salak varian gula pasir menunjukkan aktivitas antioksidan yang sangat kuat. Skrining fitokimia membuktikan adanya kandungan golongan senyawa polifenol yang diduga bertanggung jawab atas aktivitas antioksidannya yang tinggi. Golongan senyawa ini dapat melindungi dari radikal bebas sebagai penginduksi kerusakan biomolekul. Kata kunci: Salacca zalacca (Gaertn.) Voss, gula pasir, antioksidan, DPPH, polifenol. ABSTRACT The aim of this study was to evaluate antioxidant capacity of gula pasir variant of snake fruit (Salacca zalacca (Gaertn.) Voss) water extract using free radical scavenging activity of the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical (DPPH). The inhibition concentration (IC50) sufficient to elicit 50% of a maximum effect estimated in 100% was 40.89±6.35 μg/mL for the DPPH radical scavenging activity. While the positive control, quercetin, had IC50 value of 8.79±0.90 μg/mL. Based on the IC50 value, we concluded that gula pasir variant of snake fruit extract exhibited a very strong antioxidant activity. The phytochemical screening revealed the presence of polyphenol which could be responsible for the high antioxidant activity. Abstract

ABSTRACT Broccoli is one kind of plant variety compounds antioxidant unit that inhibited potentially damaging of body’s tissues and organ cause of over amount of free radical accumulation. New research in USA indicated that broccoli can help skin cell against the damaging effect caused of UV light radiation. This research used laboratorium experimental design, scoring technique and quantitative descriptive analysis. The purpose of this research is to explored that broccoli ethanol extract (Brasicca oleracea var Italica) could be formulated as an antioxidant gel by Metocel K15M Premium EP base, produced a good physical characteristic and still has an antioxidant activity. This research is done by extraction, extract characterisation, gel formulation by four variation of extract and evaluated the formulation of gel. Extraction is done by maseration with ethanol 70%, characterisation is done by organoleptic observation envelope in colour, smell, taste and form of extract. Gel formulation is made by four formulas of gel which is added by an ethanol extract of broccoli with different concentration. Evaluated gel is done by physical stability test and antioxidant activity test with DPPH methods. The result of this research indicated that gel formulation produced formula 1, formula 2, formula 3 and formula 4. The most optimal gel formulation was formula 2 which is detemined from physical stability aspect based on changes in physical appearance, colour, odor, pH and viscosity during 28 days storage periods. Antioxidant activity is determined by DPPH (1,1-Diphenyl-2-Picryl Hidrazyl) testing method. This test showed that IC50 of broccoli (Brasicca oleracea var Italica) ethanol extract is 12,479 mg/mL.
