Abstract

This research aims to find out how the regulation of restorative justice as an alternative in resolving effective and efficient criminal cases and to find out how the settlement of criminal cases through a restorative justice approach in realizing effective and efficient justice. For this reason, researchers are interested in conducting research with the title restorative justice approach as an alternative to criminal case settlement in realizing effective and efficient justice. This research is a normative juridical research. The results of the study found that the regulation of rhetorative justice is regulated internally in each law enforcement institution of the police, prosecutor's office and court. The orientation is no longer on punishment but shifts to restoring the original situation through peace efforts of the parties, both victims, perpetrators and communities affected by criminal acts. so that it can present an effective and efficient justice both in terms of time and costs incurred. Suggestions so that the settlement of criminal offenses with a restorative justice approach runs effectively and efficiently, it is necessary to equalize the perceptions of each law enforcement agency, both the police, prosecutors and courts regarding what criminal offenses can be resolved through a restorative justice approach and the time period given in resolving criminal offenses with a restorative justice approach and needs to be regulated in the form of a law.

Abstract

Data kasus yang diperoleh di Kabupaten Kerinci masih maraknya kasus penyalahguna narkotika jenis ganja. Maka permasalahan yang akan dibahas Pertama: apa yang menjadi faktor penyebab penyalahguna Narkotika jenis ganja, Kedua: bagaimana upaya Non Penal dalam penanggulangan penyalahguna Narkotika jenis Ganja di Wilayah Hukum Polres Kabupaten Kerinci. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif, dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan yuridis empiris. Hasil dari penelitian ini pertama: faktor penyebab penyalahguna Narkotika jenis ganja di Kabupate Kerinci yaitu faktor kondisi wilayah yang geografis dan faktor lingkungan dimana Kabupaten Kerinci merupakan daerah destinasi wisata sehingga rentan akan transaksi atau penyalahguna narkotika khususnya ganja di daerah wisata tersebut. Kedua: Upaya non penal dalam penanggulangan penyalahguna Narkotika jenis Ganja di Wilayah Hukum Polres Kabupaten Kerinci yaitu dengan mengimplementasikan dalam program Pencegahan, Pemberantasan Penyalahgunaan dan Peredaran Gelap Narkoba (P4GN). Rekomendasi yang diberikan yaitu harus mengedepankan tindakan preventif yang mengedepankan melalui pencegahan, penangkalan, pengendalian.

Abstract

Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana Indonesia saat ini masih menggunakan peninggalan zaman kolonial. Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi membawa perubahan ke dampak positif maupun negatif, sehingga upaya pembaharuan Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana menjadi momentum untuk mengkriminalisasi perbuatan yang dianggap bertentangan dengan norma yang hidup di masyarakat. Hukum positif belum mengatur secara lengkap mengenai tindak pidana kesusilaan, salah satunya terhadap perbuatan pekerja seks komersial. Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana mengatur mengenai perbuatan yang dilakukan oleh mucikari, sedangkan perbuatan yang dilakukan oleh pekerja seks komersial tidak ada pengaturan yang jelas sehingga kriminalisasi terhadap perbuatan pekerja seks komersial dalam hukum positif tidak dapat dikenakan sanksi pidana. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaturan terhadap perbuatan pekerja seks komersial dalam hukum pidana Indonesia dan melihat sanksi pidana yang dapat diberikan kepada pekerja seks komersial di masa mendatang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini yaitu yuridis normatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pengaturan mengenai perbuatan pekerja seks komersial dalam hukum pidana Indonesia hingga saat ini belum ada pengaturan yang jelas sehingga menimbulkan kekosongan norma, hanya Peraturan Daerah tertentu yang mengatur mengenai hal tersebut. Di masa mendatang, upaya pembaharuan Rancangan Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana akan menjadi momentum mengenai kriminalisasi terhadap perbuatan pekerja seks komersial.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of an eclipse diorama project as a strategy to enhance students' scientific literacy. In the Contact phase, the teacher introduces the phenomenon of solar eclipses, sparking students' curiosity. In the Curiosity phase, students are given the opportunity to delve deeper into the topic, developing their inquiry skills. The Elaboration phase involves students in diorama projects, allowing them to apply their knowledge in a practical context. A descriptive qualitative research method is used to observe these stages. It was found that through this approach, students' motivation increased, their inquiry skills were enhanced, and their understanding of scientific concepts deepened in three steps. Thus, the implementation of the eclipse diorama project provides holistic understanding and a profound learning experience for students, preparing them to tackle scientific challenges and the demands of the 21st century.

Abstract

This study examines the urgency of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for corporate advancement in Indonesia, highlighting the critical role of CSR in fostering sustainable business practices and enhancing stakeholder relationships. Utilizing a literature review methodology, the research compiles and analyzes data from various sources, including academic journals, books, and articles, to explore the trends, implementations, and impacts of CSR initiatives. The findings reveal that companies integrating CSR into their core strategies not only improve their reputations and stakeholder engagement but also contribute to long-term economic development and environmental sustainability. Discussion points emphasize the importance of transparency and accountability in CSR practices, which are crucial for gaining consumer trust and achieving regulatory compliance. The study concludes that adopting comprehensive CSR strategies is imperative for Indonesian companies to ensure their sustainable growth and to positively impact the broader community and environment, underscoring the necessity for continued focus and improvement in CSR practices. Abstract

Malasari Village is located in Nanggung Subdistrict and is the largest village in the area, covering approximately 8,262 hectares. Despite its large area, the population is less than 10,000 people, as a significant portion of the village comprises the protected forest area of Mount Halimun Salak National Park. Owing to its rich natural potential, Malasari Village was designated as a tourism village in 2015. The main attractions of Malasari Tourism Village include the Nirmala tea plantation, one of the oldest tea plantations in West Java. Additionally, the village features several waterfalls such as Curug Piit, Curug Sawer, Curug Macan, Curug Antin, Curug Tujuh, and Curug Kembar. This study employs a qualitative method through in-depth interviews with local community informants. Data analysis is conducted using the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) method and utilizes the 5A indicators (Amenities, Accesses, Attractions, Activities, Accommodations) as a reference for developing agrotourism strategies in Malasari Tourism Village. Based on the research findings, the following conclusions can be drawn: (1) Amenities: The facilities are inadequate, particularly the limited parking space. (2) Access: The main road leading to the village is in poor and risky condition. (3) Attractions: The village boasts unique attractions, such Nirmala Tea Plantation, Curug Macan, Cikaniki Research Center, and Nirmala Rose Garden. (4) Activities: Activities include tea leaf picking; however, tourism packages related to this activity are not well marketed. (5) Accommodations: The village has sufficient homestays and camping grounds.

Abstract

The phenomenon of retail therapy, where shopping is used as a method to improve mood and alleviate stress, has gained significant attention across various disciplines such as psychology, marketing, and sociology. This literature review aims to explore the emotional dimensions of retail therapy and its function as a form of emotional communication. Research indicates that retail therapy is driven by emotional needs, where individuals use shopping to express, manage, and communicate their emotions. Key findings highlight that retail therapy provides immediate mood improvement and can aid in long-term emotional regulation. The act of shopping, influenced by internal emotional states and external stimuli like advertisements and social media, serves as a coping mechanism for dealing with stress and negative emotions. Social interactions during shopping, whether with friends or store staff, enhance the emotional benefits by providing support and a sense of connectedness. Moreover, digital communication and social media significantly shape retail therapy experiences, influencing consumer behavior through online reviews, social interactions, and marketing strategies. The scoping review methodology employed in this research allows for a comprehensive analysis of existing studies, identifying gaps and providing insights into the multifaceted role of retail therapy in emotional regulation and communication. Overall, retail therapy emerges as a complex, emotionally driven behavior that offers significant psychological benefits, emphasizing the need for further research to understand its impact on consumer well-being and behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomena pelecehan seksual dalam media sosial TikTok, platform yang mengalami pertumbuhan pesat sejak diluncurkan pada tahun 2016 di Tiongkok dengan nama Douyin dan kemudian dikenal sebagai TikTok secara internasional pada tahun 2017. TikTok telah berhasil mengubah media sosial dan budaya populer global. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi strategi atau kebijakan yang telah diterapkan oleh TikTok untuk melindungi penggunanya dari pelecehan seksual. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang menghasilkan data deskriptif yang berupa teks, kata-kata baik itu lisan ataupun tulisan dari orang-orang dan perilaku yang dapat diamati oleh peneliti untuk mengeksplorasi bentuk-bentuk pelecehan seksual yang terjadi di TikTok, baik verbal maupun non-verbal, menganalisis strategi komunikasi serta penanggulangan yang dapat diterapkan untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara terkait pelecehan seksual di media sosial TikTok.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas konstruksi komunikasi dalam Gerakan Istiqomah Sedekah (GIS) sebagai strategi pemasaran untuk meningkatkan Musaddiq di Kota Medan. Dalam konteks ini, teori konstruktivisme menjadi landasan untuk memahami bagaimana pesan-pesan GIS dibangun dan dipahami oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian kualitatif dan fenomenologis yang mengacu pada teori media ekologi. Hasil temuan memaparkan terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan tentang sedekah dikalangan masyarakat Kota Medan. Oleh karena itu, konstruksi komunikasi GIS dalam upaya meningkatkan musaddiq di Kota Medan adalah menggunakan pesan-pesan komunikasi yang menekankan nilai-nilai keagamaan, sosial, dan kemanusiaan dari GIS memiliki resonansi yang kuat di kalangan masyarakat. Pesan-pesan yang menekankan keberlanjutan, transparansi, dan dampak positif dari sedekah juga terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan minat dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam gerakan tersebut.
