Abstract

Pertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan salah satu indikator kesejahteraan masyarakat.Salah satu wadah untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dapat dilakukan dalambidang pasar modal. Kebijakan free float dan kebijakan insentif pajak penghasilanberdasarkan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 30 Tahun 2020 merupakan kebijakanyang diharapkan dapat mendorong likuiditas pasar modal. Emiten pada dasarnyadapat melakukan baik aksi korporasi penambahan modal maupun penguranganmodal, namun, aksi korporasi yang tepat guna mendorong likuiditas pasar modaladalah melalui aksi korporasi penambahan modal yang dapat dilakukan melaluiright issue dikarenakan aksi korporasi ini dapat menambah jumlah saham danvolume perdagangan sehingga akan mendorong likuiditas pasar modal. Namun,kebijakan insentif pajak penghasilan ini tidak dapat secara langsungmempengaruhi aksi korporasi right issue. Hal ini dikarenakan kebijakan insentifpajak penghasilan ini dikenakan terhadap pajak penghasilan secara umum,sementrara aksi korporasi right issue merupakan bentuk transaksi saham yangtermasuk objek pajak penghasilan yang bersifat final, yakni memiliki tarif dan carapemungutan pajak tersendiri.

Abstract

Astronomy is a very important field because its use covers the entire daily activities of human beings. With the knowledge of astronomy, humans can plan activities well. This study seeks to examine the philosophy of astronomy in the thought of Shaykh Abdullah Fahim (1869 - 1961 AD), a prominent scholar of Penang and its impact on life. Shaykh Abdullah Fahim received his education in astronomy and other religious sciences in Makkah and Madinah. He also took the Naqsyabandiyyah tariqat from his teacher Sayyid Muhammad Amin bin Ahmad Al-Madani. In terms of his educational background, it is almost the same as the Indonesian Minangkabau scholar, Shaykh Muhammad Jamil Jambek bin Saleh Datuak Maleka (1862 - 1947) who has skills in astronomy, and a practitioner of the Naqsyabandiyyah tariqah. On the other hand, this study seeks to look at the significance of this field of astronomy to human psychology according to his point of view. This qualitative -based study uses a fully library approach to gather as much information about Shaykh Abdullah Fahim especially in the field of astronomy. Cross reference is made to the figures of the contemporary Malay scholars to obtain further information about the figures involved in teaching astronomy. In the context of psychology, the field of astronomy is not only able to trigger a high level of thinking but at the same time able to provide motivation and inspiration to humans to start an activity in daily life.

Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) is a measurement that analyzes a region's development in improving human development. The government's development plan aims to create a successful and peaceful life. The unbalanced development in every regency and city in Indonesia is a typical issue during the development process. It may also be shown that the HDI level changes across regencies and cities in Indonesia. This research aims to identify Indonesian regencies and cities based on HDI indices. K-Means clustering algorithm is the clustering method adopted. The results of the analysis formed 4 clusters. The first cluster consisted of 20 regencies with a low average HDI indicator. The second cluster consisted of 148 regencies and cities with an average HDI indicator is medium. The third cluster consisted of 88 regencies and cities with an average HDI indicator. The fourth cluster consists of 258 regencies and cities with high HDI indicators.

Abstract

This research analyzed the speech act of compliment found in the movie script Afterlife of the Party. This research was a qualitative descriptive study with a content analysis approach. The subjects of this research was all characters in Afterlife of the Party movie. The object of this research was the expression of compliment. This research used document analysis in data collection technique. The researcher applied the approach of Miles, Huberman, & Saldana (2014) to examine the overall data with the following steps: data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the findings, the researcher found (1) there are 5 types of linguistic form in the Afterlife of the Party movie namely type 1: noun/pronoun/noun phrase + is/look + (really) + adjective, type 2: I + (really) + like/love + noun phrase, type 3: pronoun + is + (a/an) + (really) + adjective + noun phrase, type 5: you + verb + noun phrase + (really) + adverb, type 7: what + (a/an) + adjective + noun phrase!, (2) there are 4 topics of compliment namely appearance, possession, personality, and ability, (3) there are 5 functions of compliment such as to express admiration, to maintain solidarity, to replacing other speech act formulas, to soften threat, to be a conversation strategy.

Abstract

Communication skills in building an interactional atmosphere or interactional competence are future research in improving learning quality. The learning process in pesantren was usually one-way from the teacher to the students. This study aims to elaborate on applying ten principles for future research on interactional communication skills in the learning process at Mahad Assalam Qur'anic Boarding School. The analysis used qualitative methods. The data collection techniques were document studies, interviews, and observations. The results indicated that Mahad Assalam Qur'anic Boarding School had not fully implemented the ten interactional skills. The weakness was the management's lack of transparency regarding standard operating procedures, causing this research to be unable to confirm between interview data and the written documents. Non-disclosure regarding formal operating procedures documents can cause obstacles in applying the same standards and replicating learning methods. Interactional communication between teachers and students in the learning process and interpersonal relationships have been established. This finding allowed the continuation of the implementation of interactional communication skills after the learning process.

Abstract

Flash flood disasters cause losses to society both in terms of material, non-material, and even psychological. Even though they are in a disaster-prone area, people continue to carry out their life activities as usual. The aim of this research is to analyze the building of community social solidarity in facing the flash flood disasters in Sungai Limau Sub-District, Padang Pariaman Regency. The theory used in this research is the theory of social solidarity emphasizing collective consciousness proposed by Emile Durkheim. The research was conducted in Sungai Limau District, Padang Pariaman Regency. This research uses qualitative research methods with descriptive research type. Informant withdrawal was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection method in this research began with non-participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document study. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model was carried out in several stages, namely, data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that the community in Sungai Limau sub-district, Padang Pariaman Regency remained resilient in the disaster area due to strengthening social solidarity between communities. This strengthening is built due to a sense of shared destiny, having goals to achieve together, and taking joint action in facing disasters. The conclusions in this research show that collective awareness is built in disaster areas driven by actions and goals to strengthen social solidarity.

Abstract

An investigation into the epistemic analysis of some systems of knowledge was carried out. The aim of the project was to delineate the dominant theoretical assumption that guides epistemic analysis in these subjects of study. To achieve the objective, the method of content analysis was adopted for the study. The analysis was able to demonstrate that the dominant theoretical assumption guiding epistemic programmes in the selected systems of knowledge is the presupposition of the validity of absolute objective standpoint, which berates the inputs of the cognitive subject to knowledge claims.

Abstract

Food as a cultural identity of an ethnic. Cultural identity is a distinguishing feature between one society and another. The ritual of eating saro is a traditional food ritual at the traditional wedding ceremony of Ternate, North Maluku. This article examines the ritual language of eating saro in the context of a traditional Ternate wedding from a literary and ethnographic perspective. This article describes the form and style of using the ritual language of eating saro, which is encoded in certain cultural messages. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with ethnolinguistic approach. The results of this study reveal that the expression of the ritual language of eating saro is in the form of a welcome expression in which there are proverbs, proverbs and metaphors. In addition, material symbols were found in the ritual of eating saro. The form of language expression is generally solemn, poetic, and conveyed using figurative language.

Abstract

This study aimed to look into the psychological challenges EFL students faced while learning English and the strategies they used. This research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive research design with a questionnaire as the instrument. The respondents of this research were 75 students from one of the public junior high schools in Kota Jambi. The data obtained were analyzed using statistics and descriptive methods. Students face three psychological challenges: self-belief, motivation, and Anxiety. For the learning strategy, there were eight indicators of the learning strategy that students used in learning English; 6 of them were the learning strategy that they used, such as cognitive strategies (underlining and memorizing) and behavioral strategies (test-taking, help-seeking, homework management, and note-taking skills).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze a psychological conflict experienced by the crew of the Essex ship in the film in the heart of the sea (2015) which is based on the legend of the Moby Dick. In this study, researchers used the behavioristic of John Broadus Watson. This research is included in qualitative research with a focus on the relation between literature and psychology by means of psychological criticism in categories such as psychoanalysis the author, reader and text also the Psychology and the creative process, Psychoanalysis and biography by using psychoanalysis. The data analysis technique in this research is descriptive analysis. From this study, found findings based on the formulation of the problem. First, what behavior can be observed in the psychological conflicts that occur in the crew of the Essex ship. . According to Watson, the only meaningful data in psychology is behavior that can be observed and measured objectively. Second, how the environment can generate the behavior of the characters. Watson believed that behavior is the result of the environmental factors that influence an individual’s learning and experience. Watson emphasized the role of conditioning, or the process of learning through association, in shaping behavior. What the crew of the Essex ship experienced in the movie "In The Heart of The Sea" (2015) was not only internal factors between other individuals, but also external factors such as natural conditions, culture and even time. Third, to identify the process of stimulus and response from the character of this film. Watson's theory of behaviorism points that all behavior is learned through the process of conditioning.
