Abstract

ABSTRAK   Respon perkecambahan yang berbeda pada tiap tanaman pangan merupakan fase krusial tanaman dalam merespon kondisi margin lingkungannya, termasuk kondisi berkadar garam. Kajian untuk mengetahui respon Solanum melongena pada fase perkecambahan terhadap paparan NaCl telah dilakukan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Botani, Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri, Februari-Maret 2012, dengan desain RAL.  Paparan NaCl diberikan pada konsentrasi 0% (kontrol), 5%, 10%, 15%, dan 20% dan data diambil pada 13 hst secara destruktif untuk diamati dan dianalisis dengan Anova One Way dilanjutkan uji Duncan 5%. Biji koleksi ditanam pada media liat berpasir steril dan disiram tiap 2 hari sekali (50 mL/ pot), pada suhu 27-28OC, 4000-6000 lux, v-angin 0-1 m/s. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kecepatan perkecambahan tertinggi pada perlakuan % dan terendah pada 20%; (2) semua perlakuan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap panjang hipokotil, akar primer, dan biomassa kecambah; (3) rata-rata kecepatan pertumbuhan kecambah optimal pada perlakuan 5%; (4) tipe perkecambahan epigeal; (5) testa terangkat jelas dari media pada umur 3-5 hst; (6) warna kotiledon hijau dan hipokotil putih terang pada umur 13 hst pada semua perlakuan; (7) arah tumbuh erectus, tegar, kotiledon terbuka sempurna dan opposita.   Kata kunci: Solanum melongena, perkecambahan, NaCl.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Perkembangan buah kacang tanah hanya terjadi di dalam tanah. Organ yang membawa buah masuk ke dalam tanah adalah ginofor yang terbentuk setelah fertilisasi terjadi. Apabila buah tidak masuk ke dalam tanah maka, embrio, biji dan buah kacang tanah tidak dapat berkembang. Setiap tahap dari perkembangan tumbuhan dipengaruhi oleh protein spesifik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil protein pada setiap tahap perkembangan buah kacang tanah. Analisis profil protein dilakukan pada beberapa tahap perkembangan buah yaitu pada umur 0, 4, 6, 15, 18 dan 23 hari setelah anthesis (hsa), baik pada buah yang berkembang (masuk ke dalam tanah) maupun tidak berkembang (tidak masuk ke dalam tanah), serta akar, batang dan daun menggunakan   metode SDS-PAGE (sodium dodecyl sulphate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis).  Profil protein pada buah berbeda dengan profil protein pada akar, batang dan daun. Protein dengan berat molekul 124 kDa kemungkinan berperan dalam mengontrol perkembangan buah kacang tanah.   Kata kunci: Arachis hypogaea, profil protein, perkembangan buah

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of bio energy power exercise on vo2max and heart rate, this study used a quantitative approach, the type of quasi-experimental research, the subjects are taken in this study were male students who took futsal extracurricular activities aged 10-12 years, to find out Vo2max using the 1600 meter run test and to determine the heart rate score using the Harvard test, data analysis is in the form of descriptive analysis and simple regression. The results showed that the use of bio energy power training did not provide a significant change in VO2max and did not provide a significant increase in the heart rate score with the length of the study for 5 meetings, but there was an increase in the VO2max value in the first week to the last week which means that the increase was not significant, and there was a gradual increase in the heart rate score starting from exercise in the first week to the last week, which means an increase although not significant.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar materi perpindahan panas benda dengan metode  discovery  dan  metode  ceramahsiswa kelas IV  SDN  Mojoayu   Kediri Tahun 2012/2013.Penelitian dilakukansecara  eksperimen dengan subyek kelas IV A sebanyak 15 siswa diajar dengan metode ceramah dan kelas IV B sebanyak 15 siswa diajar dengan metode discovery. Parameter yang diukur adalah hasil belajar kognitif siswa yang diperoleh dengan melihat  skorhasil evaluasi setelah pembelajaran 1 kompetensi dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan,  bahwa rata-rata dan ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan metode  discoveryadalah  85  dan  93,3%    lebih tinggi dari pada yang diajar dengan metode ceramah yaitu 78  dan 73,3%. Abstract

Soil pathogen is one of main problem in Java ginseng production in tropical field. This study was aimed to evaluate the impact of VAM application to Java ginseng tuber production. Application of VAM was conducted in various concentrations (0, 1, 2, and 3%) (w/w). Thin Layer Chromatography was used to detected saponin and spectrophotometry was used to determine total saponin. Biomass, the number of rotten tuber, and total saponin were determined after eleven months under greenhouse condition. Inoculation 3% of VAM can enhance the number of healthy and biomass Java ginseng tuber significantly. But the application of VAM did not increase total saponin content.

Abstract

The global obesity rate has doubled since 1980, leading to widespread health concerns. This study analyzes the relationships between physical activity, dietary patterns, and socioeconomic status on obesity in elementary school children. Based on a review of 11 national and international articles published between 2016 and 2020, the study finds that factors contributing to childhood obesity include sedentary behavior, poor dietary habits, genetic predisposition, and environmental influences. Results suggest a strong correlation between reduced physical activity and increased obesity risk, along with a connection between unhealthy dietary patterns and the prevalence of obesity. Additionally, the study highlights the influence of socioeconomic factors on dietary choices, particularly in the context of the availability and affordability of fast food. These findings emphasize the need for comprehensive interventions and awareness campaigns to promote healthy lifestyles and prevent childhood obesity.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of learning videos on interest and learning outcomes for class VI SD Negeri 1 Pagedongan for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is quasi-experimental research with The Posttest-Only Control-Group Design. Data on learning interest was collected using an assessment instrument in the form of a questionnaire and learning outcome data using a description test instrument. Data was analyzed using analysis assisted by SPSS 23 for Windows. The results of the research show that: First, there is a significant influence of Sport Education Model on the interest in learning PJOK of class VI students at SD Negeri 1 Pagedongan, Pagedongan District, Banjarnegara Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year. Second, there is a significant influence of Sport Education Model on PJOK learning outcomes for class VI students at SD Negeri 1 Pagedongan, Pagedongan District, Banjarnegara Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year. And third, there is a significant influence of Sport Education Model on interest and learning outcomes in PJOK in class VI students at SD Negeri 1 Pagedongan, Pagedongan District, Banjarnegara Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Banten Bay is a busy water area with diverse activities, including capture fisheries, aquaculture, marine and land transportation, and industry, which are estimated to generate significant amounts of heavy metals that enter the water and accumulate in fish and shellfish. Some fishery commodities commonly found in Banten Bay included shellfish, such as blood cockles, green mussels, mud crabs, and blue swimming crabs. The study aims to monitor heavy metal contamination variations spatially and temporally of the shellfish in Banten Bay. Biota samples were taken for 6 months in Cengkok Coastal Waters (March–August 2019) and 3 months in Bojonegara Coastal Waters (August–October 2020). The heavy metal content was determined using an atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS). Pb and Cd concentrations in the flesh of the shellfish (blood cockles, green mussels, mud crabs, and blue swimming crabs) from the Cengkok and Bojonegara Coastal Waters ranged from 0.001 to 0.070 ppm and from <0.001 to 0.030 ppm, respectively. All measured heavy metal concentrations met the BPOM (2018) quality standards. Bioconcentration factors were generally <100, indicating low accumulation levels.  Blood cockles, green mussels, and mud crabs from Cengkok Coastal Waters were still safe for consumption in normal amounts, while the consumption of swimming crabs was strictly limited to 0.42 kg/week for adults and 0.11 kg/week for children. The same four species from the Bojonegara Coastal Waters were also considered safe for consumption in normal portions.
