Abstract

The influence of dark personalities like psychopathy and narcissism has not been studied comprehensively in the study of radicalism and terrorism. Several recent research results reveal that it is very important to analyze and see radicalism with dark personalities, psychopathy, and narcissism. This study aims to determine the effect of psychopathy and narcissism on radicalism. Data were collected randomly through an online questionnaire filled out by 469 university students in Balikpapan City to test the direct effect of dark personality traits like psychopathy and narcissism on radicalism. The results of this study reveal that dark personality psychopathy has a direct effect on radicalism. Meanwhile, dark personalities suffer from psychopathy. Narcissism has no effect on radicalism, whereas dark personality psychopathy has an effect on radicalism. The findings of this study indicate that dark personality traits such as psychopathy and narcissism have direct and indirect effects on radicalism. Research findings are discussed, along with the implications of considering personality factors in the study of radicalism and terrorism.

Abstract

Multiliteracy education is an educational service that organizes learning for students who have completed basic literacy education. Multiliteracy education known as post literacy can be seen as a concept, process and program. In practice, teaching materials play a very important role in achieving educational attainment. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are through interviews, observation, and documentation. The research locations are in 4 PKBMs in the districts/cities of Banten Province which are areas for PBL development in multiliteracy education in the PNF unit. It was concluded that the role of teaching materials based on local potential plays an important role in the professional development of students in the community. There are 3 main components to be assessed, namely the ability to read, count, write, and have local potential livelihoods/professions. Where it was produced that the usefulness of this teaching material was very good starting from the attractiveness and ease of the guide each getting a percentage of 63.3% and 51.7%. So that it can be said that multiliteracy teaching materials based on local potential can indeed improve the ability to maintain advanced literacy and the profession of students according to their local potential in society.

Abstract

Through the use of the round table learning method, this study seeks to improve the short story writing skills of the fourth grade students of SDN 007 Pulau Tinggi. The methodology of this research is classroom action research. The fourth grade students of SDN 007 became the focus of the research. Data was collected through testing many aspects of short story writing, including themes, characters, storylines, settings, messages, and storytelling techniques. The condition of students who are more focused, enthusiastic, independent, active, and cheerful is an improvement in the learning process, which helps them write better short stories. With a pre-action score of 46.49, a score of 68.10 in the first cycle, and a score of 77 in the second cycle with an increase of 31.58, the short story writing test score also increased from the first cycle to the second cycle. When using the round table learning model, students find and express ideas more easily when they make short stories. The round table learning model can be one of the models to help students develop their short story writing skills.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop a product in the form of perspective (wisdom) character education guidebook based on traditional game for children aged 10-12 years. This research used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE type. There were ten certified teachers from Sleman, Bantul, Gunung Kidul, Kulon Progo, Muntilan, Cilacap, Malang, West Kalimantan, and Bali who got involved for the the requirement analysis, ten validators to become judgment experts, and eight children aged 10-12 years who were involved in limited product trials. The results of this study show that 1) The traditional game based character education manual was developed through the ADDIE steps (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate, 2) The manual has a score of 3,87 (range 1-4) with "Excellent" qualifications, as well as the suggestion "No revision needed", 3) The implementation of the guidebook is able to influence the broad-minded character of a child which was gained by the results of the significance test that the average of the final self-assessment (Mdn = 3,950) higher than the initial self-assessment (Mdn = 2,400) with z (7) = 2,53, p = 0,011 (p < 0.05). The manual has a "very large" effect with r = 0.6325 which is equivalent to 40.01%. From the effectiveness rate obtained, the N-gain score is 86.307%, which includes into "high" category.

Abstract

The existence of a cash social assistance program (BST) to deal with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in the Tanjungrejo Village, Malang City, in its implementation is inseparable from various problems. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the suitability of beneficiaries or KPM (beneficiary families) with the requirements of beneficiaries of the assistance program, describe the flow of implementation of the distribution of the cash social assistance program (BST) and explain the impact of BST on people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Researchers used a qualitative approach to the type of case study research. Sources of data obtained through observation, then interviews and documentation. Data analysis was performed by domain analysis through pattern matching. The results showed that the beneficiary families (KPM) in the Tanjungrejo Sub-District were in accordance with the requirements for receiving the cash social assistance program (BST), for the distribution channel that was carried out, namely data verification, card distribution and fund disbursement, then the assistance had an impact on the community, namely the psychological impact, economic impact, social impact and institutional impact.

Abstract

Application of the Problem Based Learning model to train students in improving critical thinking with the Japanese occupation material and the response of the Indonesian nation at MAN 4 Pandeglang. The goals to be achieved in this study are to gain knowledge about the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on students' critical thinking skills and to know the improvement of students' critical thinking skills by using the Problem Based Learning model. Quantitative is a research classification used in research with quasi-experiments as the research method. XI IPS 1 and XI IPS 2 samples used in this research apply the Problem Based Learning and Discovery Learning models. H0 is rejected and Hα is accepted according to the results of a one-sided t-test study, namely 2.07 > 1.67, which influences students' critical thinking skills. It can be concluded that the use of the Problem Based Learning model has an influence on students in the realm of critical thinking and the critical thinking skills of students who use the Problem Based Learning model in the experimental group get higher results than the control group with the Discovery Learning model. The average student score after the test in the experimental group was 83.80, then the average student score in the control group was 49.11.

Abstract

The role of the teacher nowadays is not only to provide content-based conceptual knowledge but also provide knowledge about how to communicate with others. In teaching today’s generation, teachers require some special expertise. Education and training of the next generation to cope with change has become a challenge for educators as well as parents. This study aims to examine the characteristics of professional Civics teachers. There are several components that can be used as research references in formulating the characteristics of professional Civics teachers. However, the authors focus on one main component that will be studied in this study, namely interpersonal skills. A good relationship between students and teachers will have an impact on the success of learning in the classroom. This study used literature study. It is done by collecting data from books and journals that are relevant to the research study. After these data are obtained, the authors take journals or books as the main reference in formulating the characteristics of professional Civics teachers. In addition, the authors only focus on research sources that include interpersonal skills of Civics teachers. The results to be achieved in this study are to obtain several characteristics regarding Civics teachers which emphasize the teachers’ interpersonal skills. It is expected that after these characteristics are formulated, they will contribute to increasing the professionalism of Civics teachers in 5.0 societys.

Abstract

Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic makes a change to the learning system. Online learning is a learning system that use today. Google Classroom is an application made by Google LLC. which is used for online learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of using Google Classroom as a means of online learning media for the Electronic Control Systems subject during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used was a questionnaire through Google Form for 33 students of the Electronic Control System subject. The results of this research indicate that students are hesitant about the application of Google Classroom for online learning media in the subject of Electronic Control Systems at SMK Negeri Lengkong Kab. Nganjuk with an average percentage value 70.18%. For ease of application, students are still in doubt that Google Classroom is used as an online learning media, with a percentage value of 77.09%. Abstract

Abstract Learning evaluation is a very important task, with the teacher's creativity in using effective and efficient and fun evaluation tools, it’s hoped that it will be more easily accepted by students and make it easier for teachers to provide learning evaluations. The method used in this study is the research and development method or Research and Development which refers to the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages which include analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. evaluation). The advantage of using Wondershare Quiz Creator is that it makes it easier for teachers to prepare and compile learning evaluation tools. The results of this study indicate that the Wondershare Quiz Creator evaluation tool which has been validated by material experts obtains a percentage score of 94.2% with very valid criteria, validation by media design experts after revision obtains a percentage score of 93% with very valid criteria, and student responses obtain a score percentage of 86.1% with very valid criteria. The Wondershare Quiz Creator application is said to have an effect on history learning seen from the development success rate which obtained a percentage score of 85.7%. The developed Wondershare Quiz Creator is suitable for use as an evaluation tool on the material of Indonesian Maritime Kingdoms during the Islamic Period for students of class XI IPS 2 at SMA Negeri 1 Sobang. Abstract

Apabila kita membahas mengenai tari reog tentu yang di benak pertama kali adalah tari reog Ponorogo. Padahal Kabupaten Tulungagung juga mempunyai tari reog yaitu tari reog kendang. Tari reog kendang merupakan kearifan lokal dalam bentuk tarian tradisional. Peneliti ingin meneliti mengenai tarian ini karena merasa tari reog kendang unik dan memiliki kekhasannya tersendiri dibanding tari reog lainnya. Hal tersebut nampak dari segi gerak tari serta alat musik yang digunakan sangat berbeda dengan tari reog di tempat lain.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk 1) mengetahui asal-usul terbentuknya tari reog kendang, 2) mengetahui perubahan yang ada pada tari reog kendang hingga kini. Metode penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Adapun sumber data diperoleh dari wawancara dan kajian pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari sumber menunjukkan bahwa 1) Tari reog kendang adalah tarian yang bercerita mengenai iring-iringan prajurit Raja Bugis mengantarkan persyaratan untuk lamaran kepada Ratu Kilisuci. 2) Tari reog kendang memiliki perubahan dalam berbagai aspek di kehidupan masyarakat yang menjadi manfaat bagi semuanya.
