Abstract

This study aims to describe the basic concepts of strengthening character education in SD Muhammadiyah 8 KH. Mas Mansyur Malang City. This research uses a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman technique which consisted of data collection, data reduction, data analysis and conclusions. While the validity of the data used is triangulation test. The results showed that: improving character education through cultural development in schools was done by developing a culture of salim before entering class, developing a 3-S culture (greetings, greetings and smiles), washing hands and praying before and before eating, having a healthy breakfast together, loving the environment. and literacy movement. Strengthening character education through self-development activities in the form of Scouts, Pencak Silat, the art of reading the Qur'an, Iqra', Adhan, Speech and the art of calligraphy. Strengthening integrated character education through learning, where each teacher provides character strengthening through the subjects taught.

Abstract

This research article contains a review of the results of a literature review that focuses on efforts to rebuild civic education from post-conflict conditions in Japan. The implementation of civics learning in Japan is an interesting study to explore and take good things to build the quality of civic education in Indonesia. Citizenship education needs to be explored and continuously developed to be relevant to the demands and developments of the times. Building the mental aspect and building the nation's love for its country needs to be done by implementing quality Citizenship Education learning. This research article was compiled using a phenomenological qualitative data approach. This article contains data on the findings of the study in a series of words that can describe data based on facts. The type of qualitative data used in this article is a phenomenological descriptive data type. The results obtained from the results of the study carried out are manifested in the following discussion. (1) The history of the development of Citizenship Education in Japan, (2) The learning approach of Citizenship Education in Japan, (3) Analysis of the learning of Citizenship Education in Japan. The results revealed in this article contribute to the design of learning in civic education in Indonesia. The articles made will also contribute to the all-round insight of improving the nation's mentality in facing various global challenges.

Abstract

The selection of the right learning media will help achieve high-level learning goals, collaboration, good communication and creativity in Civics courses. This study aims to determine: 1) how is the level of practicality of schoology-based mobile learning as strengthening 4C in Civics courses? and 2) what is the potential impact of schoology-based mobile learning as strengthening 4C in Civics courses. The method in this research is Research and Development (RnD). By doing 3 stages, namely preliminary studies, product development and testing. Data were collected through questionnaires, documentation and objective tests. Data analysis was carried out through quantitative descriptive analysis. The level of practicality of Schoology-based mobile learning shows that the results of material expert validation are 92.8% and media expert validation is 87.5%, which means that the Schoology-based mobile learning validation is valid. While the results of the schoology-based mobile learning trial results at the one to one stage obtained 84.5%, the small group stage 77.7% and the field evaluation stage 89.1%. At the trial stage, it is categorized as practical to use. And to find out the potential impact of schoology-based mobile learning, a pretest and posttest were carried out which obtained N.Gain 0.735, which means the potential impact of high school-based mobile learning. The existence of schoology-based mobile learning helps to achieve the 4C Civics learning objectives

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of student activism, especially at the University of Timor, East Nusa Tenggara. One of the manifestations of the activities of student activists can be seen from the demonstrations of students carrying campus attributes and alma maters. Demonstrations that are actually the mouthpiece of democracy become less than perfect when they are colored by unethical actions when expressing their aspirations, such as using harsh words, violating demonstration rules and destroying public facilities. The people really expect the role of students but not with unethical actions, so it is the duty of the campus to foster the character of student activists to become plenary students. This study tries to explain the role of Citizenship Education courses in fostering the character of student activists at the University of Timor. Literacy studies and case studies were chosen as methods in this research so that they can find the formulation of the coaching model. This study uses a qualitative approach so that it can find facts in depth through interviews, observations and literacy studies as a comparison of character building for student activists as well as elaborating an appropriate model to cultivate the character of students who have Pancasila democracy

Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi secara maksimal dalam dunia pendidikan membutuhkan media pembelajaran berupa bahan ajar google sites materi seni Lukis yang dapat dioperasikan menggunakan komputer, laptop, dan smartphone dengan jaringan internet. Saat ini media pembelajaran online yang dimiliki masih belum memadai khususnya materi seni lukis, pembelajaran kurang menarik dan monoton. Sehingga perlu dikembangkan media pembelajaran berupa bahan ajar google sites untuk digunakan belajar di sekolah maupun pembelajaran secara mandiri di mana saja. Tujuan dari pengembangan ini adalah: Menghasilkan rancangan pembelajaran berupa bahan ajar untuk pembelajaran online menggunakan Google Sites. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan Dick and Carey (1990) dengan beberapa penyesuaian. Uji coba dilakukan di SMPN 2 Lamongan, meliputi uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil, uji coba lapangan, dan uji coba kepada guru mata pelajaran seni budaya. Bahan ajar ini disahkan pakar materi, pakar media, dan pakar desain pembelajaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa bahan ajar google sites materi seni Lukis, yang berisi teori seni Lukis dan berbagai Teknik seni Lukis. Dukungan pakar isi sebesar 90, 4%, dukungan pakar media sebesar 87,5%, dukungan pakar desain sebesar 94,6% kuesioner siswa tentang penggunaan bahan ajar google sites materi seni Lukis mencapai 90, 5% sehingga bahan ajar google sites materi seni Lukis layak digunakan pada pembelajaran di sekolah maupun pembelajaran secara mandiri.

Abstract

Business actors in the creative economy sector focus on creativity, one of which is the purun woven craft business, while humans have various mindsets and cultures as a result of their habits. This is a challenge in Purun Village to continue to have an existence in the creative economy sector competition so that it requires the participation of craftsmen in the development of woven crafts in Purun Village. This research was conducted to provide an overview of the participation of artisans in the development of woven crafts in Purun Village based on local wisdom. This study used a qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis went through several stages, namely the reduction stage, presentation and conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed that the participation of artisans in the development of woven crafts in Purun Village was based on local wisdom. Among them are: 1) preserving woven from generation to generation 2) making plaits based on local wisdom 3) creating product innovations in accordance with market developments 4) product diversification. In the development of the purun woven craft industry, the role of the crafter is very important, including preserving the purun woven craft by passing it on to the next generation, protecting the environment by utilizing purun which is known as a wild plant, and improving the regional economy.

Abstract

The rise of cases of terrorism and radicalism in the name of Islam in Indonesia is certainly an impetus for all Islamic boarding schools to organize national insight education. The purpose of this study was to determine the understanding of the residents of the Lirboyo Islamic boarding school towards radicalism and national insight education taught at the Lirboyo Islamic boarding school in Kediri. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with the subject of Pondok Pesantren Lirboyo Kediri City. This research was carried out by conducting direct observations and interviews with the Management, Mustahik and Santri based on a natural background. The results of this study concluded that the understanding of the residents of the Lirboyo Islamic boarding school to the ideology and actions of radicalism is an ideology and action that deviates and is contrary to the nature of Islam, the nation and state of Indonesia. National Insight Education taught at Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School is through the National Fiqh Takhosus program which is devoted to the Ma'had Aly level and through moral learning. This is intended to be a provision for students and alumni when they return to the community, so that they are able to bring a cool, calm and nationalist spirit to society, and can instill a religious character and spirit, instill the same nature of purpose in seeking knowledge, instill a sense of solidarity, justice, cooperation, and the nature of a sense of loyalty to the agreement (responsibility) and teach simplicity which is a form of fortitude to the wider community.

Abstract

Based on the experience of teaching Polynomial material, many students' learning outcomes are still below the standard of completeness. One of the factors that cause it is the learning model. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of students in class XI MIPA 2 MAN Kota Singkawang by applying the Group Investigation learning model to the Polynomial material for the 2021-2022 school year. The Group Investigation learning model is a cooperative learning model that involves students actively in learning. This research is Classroom Action Research which consists of 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 2 meetings. Data collection techniques using student learning tests. To find out changes in learning outcomes, an analysis of the test results was carried out using a paired t. The results of the study after the first cycle of the average student learning outcomes were 71.39 with learning completeness of 75%. After the second cycle, the average student learning outcomes were 81.11 with 91.67% learning completeness. From the results of the comparison of post-test cycle I with post-test cycle II, the effect size is 1.15, which means that the effectiveness is large. The results of the paired t-test obtained showed a P-value of 0.000 in the first and second cycles. This shows that there is a significant change in the results of the pre-test and post-test after the implementation of the Group Investigation model, meaning that the Group Investigation model can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning model in using the Question Card media which is a learning model. The purpose of this study is to describe the increase in activity and learning outcomes. This research method uses classroom action research. The results of the study were seen from the pra-cycle, cycle I, cycle II the results of student activity included aspects of visual activity the pra-cycle 86,67% cycle I 93,33% cycle II 100%, oral activity pra-cycle 86,67% cycle I 100% and cycle II 100%, listening activity pra-cycle, cycle I, cycle II 93,33%, writing activity the pra-cycle 86,67% cycle I 100%, cycle II 100%, drawing activity the pra-cycle 93,34% cycle I 100% and cycle II 100%, emotional activity the pra-cycle 86,67% cycle I 100% and cycle II 100%, mental activity the pra-cycle 86,67% cycle I 90% cycle II 93,34%. Pra-cycle learning outcomes 87,966 cycle I 90,167cycle II 90,567. The application of Question Card media in the application of Prablem Based Learning including activeness and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Trenggalek Regency has a big problem with a fairly high poverty rate. This research examines the role of the Info Seputar Trenggalek community in reducing poverty as a form of community independent action without waiting for action from the government in unraveling social problems called civil society. The method used is a qualitative approach with a case study design for 2 (two) years, starting from 2020 to 2021. The results showed that 1) the Info Seputar Trenggalek community was able to run various programs (Compensation for orphans and duafa, house surgery, educational assistance, opening tourist destinations, volunteering for the look down poverty movement (Gertak)) as a solution to poverty management; 2) the gap in the inhibition of activities arises because a) the limited funding is not proportional to the reported problem which is quite high; 3) The right design used is the problem-focus of community development that is tailored to the needs of the trenggalek community.
