Abstract

Basic education plays a key role in developing students' critical thinking skills in preparation for tackling complex global challenges. The purpose of this study was to analyze the application of basic educational content standards in basic education learning and its impact on improving students' critical thinking skills. This study utilizes methods of data collection processes conducted through literature reviews of scientific papers, as the data generated is descriptive. Data analysis was performed using a qualitative approach. Research results show that applying basic educational content standards to basic educational learning can significantly contribute to improving students' critical thinking skills. Primary school teachers who apply content standards extensively and consistently in primary education create learning environments in which students develop critical thinking skills through comprehension of content, analysis of information, evaluation of arguments, and rational decision-making. can be produced.

Abstract

Having good self-confidence plays an important role in today's modern era, especially when going straight into society because individual who does not have good self-confidence will always feel anxious, insecure and not feel free to do whatever he wants in life. The purpose of this study was to make a measuring instrument for students' self-confidence as an instrument to support the Antaboga game by using the method of non-test instruments. Based on the results of the validity and reliability tests conducted by 2 material experts, the overall value of content validity was 0.8, then continued with the test of 2 BK teacher users, the overall value of content validity was 0.7, as well as the user test conducted by 30 students of class XI SMAN 2 Kota Kediri, obtained 23 valid items with a reliable coefficient of 0.875. Of the 23 items that were declared valid, they could represent each indicator of self-confidence. Based on the validity and reliability tests conducted, it can be concluded that this scale for measuring student self-confidence can be used as a tool to measure high school student self-confidence at the next research stage.

Abstract

Discovery learning merupakan salah satu dari sekian banyak model pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran discovery learning sperlu untuk dialakukan pengembangan dan penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model discovery learning terhadap prestasi belajar siswa di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Gunung Sari pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn). Penelitian in merupakan penelitian Pre-exsperiment dengan the static-grup comparison design. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrument tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 26 soal yang dinyatakan valid dari 35 soal yang ada. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan thitung adalah 1.9959. Berdasarkan hal tersebut nilai thitung (1.9959)> ttabel (1.6706) dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Nilai rata-rata prestasi belajar PPKn siswa yang menerapkan model discovery learning adalah 76, sedangkan nilai rata-rata prestasi belajar PPKn siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran biasa adalah 70. Hasil analisis data dan pembahasan, menyimpulkan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PPKn yang menerapkan model discovery learning lebih baik daripada model pembelajaran lainya. Artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara prestasi belajar PPKn kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model discovery learning dan kelas kontrol yang menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional pada mata pelajaran PPKn

Abstract

The background to this research is based on the results of researchers' observations which show that people now tend to choose traditional medicine in the treatment process. This phenomenon is reflected in the increasing number of consumers who buy traditional medicines, both those that are registered and those that have obtained a business license. The aim of this research is to find out what spices are contained in the Warunggahan inscription, the reasons why spices are written in the Warunggahan inscription, and the characteristics of the plants/spices in the Waunggahan inscription. In this research, researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach method. Qualitative research is research in which the discussion brings up data obtained in the field. The research was carried out in several research stages, the first was the pre-research stage in the first week of December, research implementation in January-April, data analysis in May and June, and reporting of research results in July. At the research stage, researchers conducted direct interviews, including with Novi B.M.W, Wahyu Alam and A.B Aji Setiaji. The conclusions of this research are (1) The spices contained in the Warunggahan inscription include bsar, kasumba, wunkudu, jodhi, keteke, wuyah, kamal, lena, lurunan, kletik and gula. (2) The reason for writing spices in the Warunggahan inscription is to limit the sale of goods by carrying them. (3) The plants or spices contained in the Warunggahan Inscription have the following characteristics. The leaves are serrated, thorny and non-serrated, the stems are sturdy and break easily, have fruit and a distinctive taste, can grow up to 30m, the leaves are shiny green to dark green, the fruit is hard and soft when ripe.

Abstract

Humans and the environment are two things that are interconnected and cannot be separated from each other. Educating people who are aware of the importance of the environment certainly requires effort. One of them is through educational institutions. This study uses a qualitative approach by presenting data from research results. Processed and presented qualitatively. This study used observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the research data used interactive model analysis techniques (interactive model of analysis) from Miles and Huberman. In this interactive analysis model, the researcher moves on three components, namely data reduction, data display and verification. The results of this research found that the Adiwiyata Middle School curriculum always prioritizes the active involvement of all school members in environmental conservation. The organization at the Adiwiyata school in Banjarmasin City has one of its missions, namely environmental preservation. The existence of an environmentally based curriculum will create a new culture, namely an environmental culture where school residents will be more aware of the importance of protecting the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) Assess and discuss the background of the life of R.A. Kartini, (2) Review and discuss the concept of gender equality R.A. Kartini in education, (3) to find out about the influence of R.A. Kartini on women's education in Java. The method used in writing this thesis is thehistorical method. The results of this study indicate that throughout civilization, women are very vulnerable to various forms of injustice. R.A. Kartini lived during a period whenfeudalism was still very strong, which eventually led to several problems that were considered crucial, for example, gender inequality. In addition, R.A.'s interest Kartini in fighting for education among thewider community is very big. He is aware of the backwardness of his people who still live in darkness,stupidity and powerlessness. The example of the struggle of R.A. Kartini's efforts to achieve genderequality included: establishing schools for women, communicating with Dutch society which ultimately became the basis of her struggle. Another thing that was championed by R.A. Kartini is about opposing polygamy and breaking ancient customs. R.A. Kartini also opposed the culture of seclusion and emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for women to further develop themselves. R.A.'sthoughts Kartini certainly had a major influence on the development of women's education in Java and throughout Indonesia, such as the revival of women's education in Java, the establishment of women'sschools, the increase in the dignity and status of women, and the emergence of new female figures.

Abstract

The background of research is that existing learning resources and media have not been utilized optimally as seen from the use of learning resources that only focus on textbooks, lack of interaction and social attitudes in the learning process, lack of utilization of learning media, and students not focusing on participating in learning which causes social studies learning outcomes low. This study aims to describe the availability, utilization, school support and teacher constraints in using learning resources and media towards achieving social studies learning objectives at UPT Elementary Schools. Research using qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The samples are school principals, high-grade social studies teachers and 6 students from each class. The results of the study show that the availability of learning resources and media is quite good and teachers can make good use of learning resources and media in the social studies learning process. There are obstacles to the use of learning resources and media in achieving social studies learning objectives in elementary schools such as requiring more time and a lack of reading books which make social studies learning objectives not optimally achieved, besides that school support from resource facilities and learning media is quite good. In conclusion, the availability and utilization of learning resources and media as well as school support for achieving social studies learning objectives is quite good and the obstacles encountered can be overcome properly in elementary schools

Abstract

The problem found in learning is low student learning outcomes. The research aims to determine the effect of a scientific learning model based on Malay culture on improving student learning outcomes. In this research, researchers used a quantitative approach. The sample used was 55 third semester students consisting of 2 classes. Class A is an experimental class with 27 students. Class B is a control class with 28 students. This research was carried out in the Hydrology Course. The data collection technique used is a test. The data analysis technique uses the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 23, namely the normality test, homogeneity test and Independent Sample t-test with a significance level of 5% or 0.05. Based on the research results, the average pretest score for the experimental class was 35.41 and the control class was 35.14. Then given different treatment, the experimental class was taught with a scientific learning model based on Malay culture and the control class with conventional learning. After learning was completed, the average post-test score for the experimental class was 74.85 and the control class was 63.14. After carrying out the Independent Sample t-test, a significant value of 0.000 <0.05 was obtained, so it can be concluded that the scientific learning model based on Malay culture has an effect on improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The importance of implementing education is an answer to various challenges in the development of science and technology which, either directly or indirectly, influences the morale of the nation's young generation today. The exploration of the value of character education can be traced in the history of the Indonesian nation, especially in the text of the proclamation of independence for the Republic of Indonesia. This research aims to identify the values ​​of national character education based on the text of the proclamation of independence of the Republic of Indonesia. In conducting research, researchers used a qualitative approach to explore in depth what character education values ​​can be taken from the text of the proclamation. The data sources were obtained through literature studies and distributing online questionnaires to UNP Kediri history education students who had completed the lecture material for the sub-chapter of Indonesian independence. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the value of national character education based on the text of the proclamation of independence of the Republic of Indonesia includes unity and oneness, devotion to God Almighty, tolerance, struggle/perseverance, patriotism, democracy, human rights, independence, independence, nationalism and justice.

Abstract

This article discusses the role of Canva For Education in enhancing the creativity and presentation skills of students at Universitas Negeri Malang. Faced with the challenges of the global job market, the university recognizes the potential of Canva For Education as an innovative solution with features such as visual design, team collaboration, and multimedia integration. Despite implementation challenges such as integrating technology into the curriculum and data security issues, Canva For Education can provide a positive contribution to the development of students' skills. Literature reviews indicate that this platform can boost creativity through appealing visual designs, team collaboration, and the utilization of learning resources. Furthermore, Canva For Education can advance presentation skills through attractive slide designs, effective use of visualization, and consistent content design. The article concludes by affirming that Canva For Education is a valuable tool in preparing students for the demands of the increasingly visually-oriented global job market
