Jurnal Ilmiah Dikdaya terbit 2 (dua) kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan April dan September. Jurnal ini mempublikasikan artikel hasil penelitian tentang pendidikan dan pengajaran, dan artikel yang masuk hendaknya bukan hasil plagiat dan belum dipublikasikan di tempat lain. Artikel akan di review oleh reviewer dan hasilnya akan dikomunikasikan kepada penulis. Abstract

Learning motivation is a study that continues to receive great attention, especially the factors that can influence this motivation. The academic environment plays an important role in shaping student perceptions which can then affect the quality of learning and motivation. The MUSIC motivational model developed by Jones (2009) is designed to provide a conceptual framework to help lecturers in any field to understand student learning motivation. The MUSIC model is able to answer the question of what perceptions should be assessed and how those perceptions should be assessed.

Abstract

The lecture technique that does not vary used is not suitable for students because it is less fun and makes learning meaningless and this low learning outcome occurs in students of SMPN 10 Muaro Jambi. The low student learning outcomes are caused by the lack of accuracy in using the learning model. The investigative group learning model can be an alternative to fun learning, improving learning outcomes and making students build their own knowledge.

Abstract

Having mathematical communication skills is one way to achieve the objectives of learning mathematics. The reason why the discussion of mathematical communication becomes very important is because mathematics can be used as a language and learning mathematics is included in social activities. This article aims to analyze the mathematical communication skills of SMK students using descriptive research methods and qualitative approaches. The sample selected was 26 students from class XII TBSM 4 with the sampling technique applied was purposive sampling. The instrument used is a written test by paying attention to indicators of mathematical communication skills, interviews, and observation of research results. The data analysis technique applied is content analysis. The results of the research in this article are in the form of an analysis of students' mathematical abilities per item of the research instrument. Based on the results of the study, the average student score was 39.31. Guidelines for the achievement of mathematical communication skills were also given, with 3 students in the very good category, 6 students in the moderate category, 9 students in the poor category, and 8 students in the very poor category.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 38/IX Jambi Kecil by using the two stay two stray (TSTS) type of cooperative learning model for the 2018/2019 academic year. This research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). Respondents of this study were fourth grade students of SD Negeri 38/IX Jambi Kecil which consisted of 28 people. The results showed that the cooperative learning model type two stay two stray (TSTS) can improve the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 38/IX Jambi Kecil. The increase can be seen from the average score of students on the pre-cycle test, namely (53.13) which is still in the "Less" category, while the score of students who reach the KKM is only 5 students or 17.86%; from the average score of students in the first cycle test, namely (57.42) which also falls into the "Less" category, while the score of students who reach the KKM is only 10 students or 35.71%; from the average score of students in the second cycle test, namely (63.92) which has entered the "Enough" category, while the score of students who have reached the KKM is 17 students or 60.71%; and the average score of students in the third cycle test is (66.78) which has also entered the "Enough" category, while the score of students who have reached the KKM is 22 students or 78.57%. It means that during the process of giving the action for three cycles, students experienced an increase of (13.65) points. The improvement that is more important is the changes that occur in the learning atmosphere of students in the classroom, especially regarding: attitudes, learning motivation, and student interactions in class. During the action process, the learning atmosphere becomes more active, students reduce undisciplined actions such as chatting in class, students appear more enthusiastic and happy to follow lessons, and in group activities they can participate more actively and contribute to problem solving in their groups, when as a host or as a guest.

Abstract

This paper focuses on several issues surrounding the existence of the Malay Kingdom which to this day still hold many unanswered issues, especially regarding the origins of the kingdom, the ruling kings, the central government, and the scope of the region. This research work is expected to contribute to the development of knowledge, especially about the local history of Jambi, and can be used as consideration by related institutions to preserve historical and cultural values and for the development of the tourism industry in the Jambi region. By using a multidimensional approach and supported by the application of historical methods that refer to scientific historical research procedures, it is hoped that the questions raised in the formulation of the problem will be expressed objectively and systematically. The results show that the Malay kingdom has its roots in three ancient pre-Malay kingdoms, namely Koying, Tupo, and Kantoli, which grew in the 4th century to the 7th century AD. The Malay kingdom emerged as an independent state marked by sending envoys to China. at 644-645M. The center of the kingdom at that time was in Jambi. Since 685 the Malay Kingdom was under Srivijaya control but the Malay port still functioned as an important port. The Malay kingdom re-emerged as an independent kingdom in the 12th century after the Srivijaya kingdom declined due to the Cola kingdom's attack. In this period the center of the kingdom had moved to Dharmasraya in the present-day area of West Sumatra. However, after the 1286 AD Pamalayu expedition, the Malay Kingdom was forced to vazal kingdom status by recognizing the power of Singhasari and Majapahit. Entering the 14th century under Adityawarman, the Malay Kingdom grew into the largest kingdom in Sumatra but the center of the kingdom moved to Pagaruyung, an area located in the natural center of Minangkabau, West Sumatra Province today.

Abstract

Based on the background of the problem, the purpose of this study is to the contribution of learning motivation on the ability to write text exposition class X SMA N 2 Padang. Quantitative research by using descriptive and correlation design. The study population was all students of class X are divided into nine classes with the number of students 274 people. The sampling technique is done by random sampling that is taking members of the sample population randomized. The total sample is 74 people. The research instrument was a questionnaire and test performance. Techniques to analyze research data using Pearson Product Moment Correlation test (PPM), correlation test, t test, F test, and determinant coefficient formula. Results of this motivation to learn to contribute to the ability to write text exposition of 25.79%. The conclusions of this motivation to learn to contribute and positive relationship significantly the ability to write text exposition.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the innovation of poetry reading teaching materials through 3D Flipbook multimedia. The method used in the research is descriptive procedural research method. The reference is ADDIE model development research. What is described is 3D multimedia Flipbook for learning to read poetry. Data collection was carried out using a closed questionnaire. There were 24 respondents, who were seventh semester students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, FKIP Jambi University. The results of the study illustrate that the 3D Flipbook multimedia when used by lecturers in teaching is an actual medium, brings innovation, has an appeal, and makes it easier to follow the lecture flow and examples. The average respondent's assessment for all aspects assessed is 4.60. Aspects of media appearance were assessed with an average of 4.70 (decent category); the content aspect of poetry reading material is assessed with an average of 4.50 (very decent category); and the learning aspect was assessed with an average of 4.60 (very feasible category).

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh kemandirian belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa SMKN 1 Rengasdengklok. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMKN 1 Rengasdengklok Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 dan sampel nya adalah siswa kelas X TEI 1 sesi 1. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan analisis korelasional, pengujian persyaratan analisis data, dan pengujian hipotesis. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk kemandirian belajar adalah angket sedangkan untuk hasil belajar adalah tes tertulis atau PTS (Penilaian Tengah Semester). Hasil penelitiannya adalah terdapat pengaruh kemandirian belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa dan juga siswa sudah mampu belajar mandiri tanpa adanya dorongan atau bantuan dari orang lain, namun masih banyak siswa yang belajar mandiri jika adanya dorongan atau bantuan dari orang lain sehingga kemandirian belajar memperoleh kategori sedang. Besar sumbangan kemandirian belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika sebesar 22.7% dan sisanya sebesar 77.3% disumbang oleh variabel-variabel lain.Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of student learning independence on the mathematics learning outcomes of students at SMKN 1 Rengasdengklok. The population in this study were students of SMKN 1 Rengasdengklok for the academic year 2020/2021 and the sample was class X TEI 1 session 1. The method used was quantitative with correlational analysis, testing data analysis requirements, and testing hypotheses. The instrument used for independent learning is a questionnaire while for learning outcomes is a written test or PTS (Middle Semester Assessment). The results of the research are that there is an influence of student learning independence on students' mathematics learning outcomes and also students are able to learn independently without any encouragement or assistance from others, but there are still many students who study independently if there is encouragement or assistance from others so that learning independence gets a moderate category. . The contribution of independent learning to mathematics learning outcomes is 22.7% and the remaining 77.3% is contributed by other variables.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze empirically the influence of brand image and price on purchasing decisions for Scarlett products in Unaaha City. This research was conducted in the city of Unaaha. The population in this study were consumers of Scarlett products in the city of Unaaha with a total sample of 50 respondents. The data analysis method is carried out by the Multiple Linear Regression analysis method. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded: That simultaneously or partially there is a positive and significant effect of brand image and price variables on purchasing decisions. This fact shows that the better the brand image and the price given, the greater the level of purchasing decisions for Scarlett Products in Unaaha City.

Abstract

Spatial Analytical Geometry is one of the compulsory subjects in the S1 Education curriculum of the Mathematics Education Study Program. Learning Geometry Analytical Space is expected to be able to create a paradigm for students to use mathematics in everyday life. The purpose of this study was to develop teaching materials in the form of Spatial Analytical Geometry modules and to determine the quality of teaching materials in the form of modules developed based on the feasibility aspect. This research is a development research using the Research & Development method of the Borg and Gall model which has been modified by Sugiyono, namely the stages: (1) Potential and Problems, (2) Collecting Data, (3) Product Design, (4) Design Validation, (5) Design Revision, (6) Product Trial, (7) Product revision. The results of this study indicate that at the product validation stage carried out by material experts on the aspect of content feasibility, an average value of 3.3 was obtained with the criteria of "very good" and the linguistic aspect obtained an average value of 3.25 with the criteria of "good".Media experts in the graphic aspect obtained an average score of 3.3 with the criteria of "very good" and the linguistic aspect obtained an average score of 3.15 with the criteria of "good".Meanwhile, for linguists in the linguistic aspect, an average score of 3.3 was obtained with the criteria of "very good".Student responses to teaching materials in the form of modules in small group trials obtained an average score of 3.35 with the criteria "very interesting" and 3.5 large group trials "very interesting". This means that the teaching materials in the form of spatial analytic geometry modules produced in this study are suitable for use in learning.
