This study aims to determine influence of brand ambassadors and prices partially and simultaneously on impulse buying Mie Lemonilo. The data collection technique used was questionnaire. The sample was 100 respondents. Data analysis technique used is Classical Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, Coefficient Determination Test, F test and t test. From the research results it’s known brand ambassadors have significant positive effect on impulse buying, prices have significant positive effect on impulse buying, simultaneously brand ambassadors and prices have significant effect on impulse buying. The magnitude of the influence of the independent variables on impulse buying is 52.7%. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and organizational commitment on employee performance at the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of West Sumatra Province. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The sampling technique used was total sampling, so that from this population there were a sample of 79 respondents, the data collection method used was observation, questionnaires and literature study. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression, t test, F test and the coefficient of determination. Based on multiple linear analysis, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) (X1) and organizational commitment (X2) variables on employee performance (Y) at the Office of Manpower and Transmigration of West Sumatra Province obtained Y = 8.357 + 0.359 X1 + 0.198 X2 + e. the results of the t-test conducted found that the variable Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) at the Office of Manpower and Transmigration of West Sumatra Province, the variable organizational commitment (X2) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) at Office of Manpower and Transmigration of West Sumatra Province. The results of the F test prove that the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) (X1) and organizational commitment (X2) variables simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance (Y) at the Office of Manpower and Transmigration of West Sumatra Province. This can be proven by Fcount > Ftable or 19.766 > 3.12 and a significant level of 0.000 <0.05 while the results of the coefficient of determination were 32.9%, while the remaining 67.1% was explained by other variables not examined in this study such as ability and motivation.

Abstract

Waste is an environmental problem which has been urgent to solve, including in Purwakarta District which are implementing several programs to overcome it. One of the programs is waste bank which is implemented by community organizations. This article analyses a business plan for waste management managed by Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) Sinergi, Purwakarta District. Data collection methods were interviews, field observations, comparative study, and literature studies. Data analysis for business development strategy was using Business Road Map (BRM). Research succeeded to identify fifteen elements of BRM. BUMDes Sinergy in the early steps is advised to focus on collecting and sorting inorganic waste, especially plastic waste which is more expensive, by implementing waste to charity and waste bank mechanisms. In the medium term, business could be developed by processing organic waste to fertilizer and inorganic waste to plastic ore or upscaling waste to recycled products which have higher value added.

Abstract

This study compares the performance of the capital asset pricing model (CAPM), which uses a mean-variance optimal portfolio, and the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) as the market return proxy. The data samples are monthly stock returns of Kompas 100, LQ45, and IDX30 index from September 2012-August 2022. The expected returns of assets are calculated using the CAPM with rolling regression methodology based on each index's 2-5 years period. The mean-squared errors for each sample group are calculated to determine the CAPM performance. Although the market indexes have a sub-optimal risk and return profile according to their position on the efficient frontier diagram, this study finds that the JCI as the market proxy results in better CAPM performance than the optimal portfolio. However, the beta results from using JCI as the market proxy are also consistently higher than those using an optimal portfolio, leading to the overestimation bias of the asset risk. Since most studies in CAPM testing use the market index as the market return proxy, particularly JCI in Indonesia, this study provides new insight into the challenges of using the optimal portfolio as the market return proxy.

Abstract

Top management requires a plan to maximise revenues in order to succeed in a competitive business. The study's goal is to assess and evaluate the impact of the break-even point and the Margin of Safety on revenue and profit forecasts for hotel sub-sector IDX companies for the period of 2017 to 2021. Using the IDX and the company's own website, the researchers documented financial data gathered by researchers and given by firms operating in the hotel market. We performed multiple linear regression analyses with SPSS. Only two of the investigated hospitality-related businesses are found to be profitable (or at least break even), with the biggest safety margins. Profitability is heavily influenced by the break-even point as well as the margin of safety. The Break-even Point and the Margin of Safety have a very favourable effect for hotels listed on the IDX between 2017 and 2021.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of product quality, price and word of mouth on consumer buying interest in drinking beverage products. The sample of this research is consumers who buy Beverage products as many as 96 samples. The data used is primary one. The statistical method used is multiple linear regression analysis with a quantitative approach using the classical assumption test first. The results of this study indicate that partially the variable Product Quality (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention (Y), indicated by a t-count of 2.041 > t-table of 1.98609 with a significance of 0.008 <0.05. Partially Price (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention (Y), indicated by a t-count of 3.009 > t-table of 1.98609 with a significance of 0.006 <0.05. Partially Word of Mouth (WOM (X3) has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention (Y), indicated by a t-count of 2.696 > t-table of 1.98609 with a significance of 0.008 <0.05.
