Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had quite a big impact on the lives of Indonesian people, one of which is in the aspect of education. The policy regarding the implementation of learning in Indonesia is that learning must be carried out online or remotely. As the Covid 19 pandemic continues to spread, it has an impact on education, especially on the character and learning system of students. So every educational institution needs program management to strengthen character education. This study aims to understand the management of character education strengthening programs through online and offline learning during the Covid 19 New Normal pandemic which includes planning, implementation and evaluation.

Abstract

Authentic assessment carried out at SMPN 5 Muntok. In the learning process there are still deficiencies caused by teachers in the learning process have a tendency. Non-test assessment techniques that can more comprehensively measure learning outcomes tend to be. These problems through mentoring teachers through academic supervision in teaching management, starting from planning, implementing the teaching and learning process, to evaluation. The purpose of this study was to improve teacher performance in learning at SMP Negeri 5 Muntok. This research method is action research carried out in two cycles. The results of research on improving teacher performance in the preparation of lesson plans as a whole is that in the pre-cycle it was 75% after the first cycle action became 82%, and after the second cycle action it increased again to 96%. For the implementation of learning to increase teacher performance as a whole, it was in the pre-cycle of 77% after the first cycle action became 84%, and after the second cycle action increased again to 91% (very good category).

Abstract

Creative teachers are teachers who have creativity or as innovators. So that their creativity does not appear suddenly, but rather a lot of experience gained by the teacher in the learning process by preparing learning methods, preparing the devices used, and the material to be delivered in the learning process. This study aims to reveal the creativity of Islamic Religious Education teachers in the formation of the character of the students of State the anubanmuslimSongkhlaschool .This study used a qualitative approach with case study design. Data was collected by using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that: (1) are able to convey material with creative models and methods and provide examples for students both inside and outside of learning, (2) need a process to instill character and instill students' awareness, (3) there is encouragement and motivation (press) from within is the principal and teachers, while encouragement from outside is parents, traditional leaders and local government. (4)The realization of character habituation that is always applied in the school environment or in the community. (5) The supporting factor for the realization of character habituation in schools comes from school principals, teachers and local governments, while the inhibiting factor is the difficulty of communicating with students and the community due to differences in language.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to clearly describe how governance is carried out by madrasahs accredited A, B, and C in Fifty Cities District.This type of research is qualitative with descriptive analysis. This research was conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah with A accreditation, Madrasahs with B accreditation, Madrasahs with C accreditation. Data collection procedures are carried out by field research, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis procedures were carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions.From the research that has been conducted, information is obtained that madrasahs with A accreditation perform good governance starting from planning by holding end-of-semester meetings to prepare for the next semester, developing local content curricula, managing students in the form of PPDB, extracurricular activities, setting student rules, determining graduation. , from the point of view of educators and education staff, there are already masters graduates. Funding for education comes from several sources such as from BOS, infaq, committees and these funds are allocated as best as possible for the benefit of the madrasah. Madrasan also establishes relationships with the community by making MoUs with the police, village guardians, sub-district heads, health centers, and course institutions. Madrasahs with B accreditation have implemented good governance such as developing local content curricula, student activities such as PPDB, extracurricular activities, making student rules, madrasah funds obtained from BOS, and also establishing relationships with the community such as the police and puskesmas. All of these activities were well planned but there were still some that were not implemented. Madrasahs with accreditation C, all of which are private Madrasah Tsanawiyah with not too many students, have already carried out planning by the madrasa such as curriculum development, implementing student admissions, funds coming from foundations or alumni, and not collecting funds from students.

Abstract

The problem this study is the lack of motivation to learn students due to lack of interaction between students and teachers. To overcome this problem, applied a discovery learning model using water rockets. The purpose of this study was to increase students' motivation to learn. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. Each consists of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research was carried out in 1 Batang Natal State High School. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIA1. The technique used in data collection is tests, questionnaires and observations and data collection tools is learning outcomes tests, learning motivation questionnaires, and observation sheets of learning activities. The results of student learning tests that were completed in the first cycle were 21.73% and in the second cycle was 82.60%.The results of student physics learning motivation questionnaires in the first cycle of 56.85% and in the second cycle amounted to 79.71%. Can be concluded that this study has been successful and learning Discovery learning using water rockets can be used in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the influence of parental concern for children on the learning behavior of Class XII students at Simpang Kanan State Senior High School, Bagan Batu. The research population was all Class XII students at SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Kanan, Bagan Batu, namely 249 students, while the sample size was 161 students. Data analysis tools used are multiple regression analysis, correlation coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing t. The results of the regression equation obtained Ŷ = 12.782 + 0.958X, meaning that the value of the regression coefficient for parental concern (X) is positive meaning that each increase in the parental concern variable has an influence on increasing student learning behavior (Y) in SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Kanan students , Rock Chart. The results of the correlation analysis obtained the value of r = 0.682, meaning that the relationship between parental concern and student learning behavior at SMA Negeri 1, Bagan Batu is quite strong. While the results of the Coefficient of deterrence (2 r) = 46.2%, this means that the variable parental concern influences changes in student learning behavior at SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Kanan, Bagan Batu by 46.2%. The results of the hypothesis test with the t test obtained the value of tcount = 11.768 and the value of ttable = 1.658, because tcount > ttable then H0 is rejected while Ha is accepted, which means that parental concern has a positive influence on student learning behavior at SMA Negeri 1 Simpang Kanan, Bagan Batu .

Abstract

The background of this research is that the majority of students who have social media experience addiction to social media as in class they steal situations to open cellphones to open social media (Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp). This study aims to determine the effect of applying self-management techniques through group guidance to overcome social media addiction in class XI MAN 4 Religion students in the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses quantitative research with the type of research is experimental (pre-experimental designs one-group pretest-posttest design). The population in this study were 110 students of class XI MAN 4 Agam. Using a purposive sampling technique, a sample of 16 students who experienced high social media addiction was obtained. The data collection technique in this study used a social media addiction questionnaire with a closed questionnaire as well as data processing techniques and data analysis techniques using Microsoft Excel and SPSS 22.0 for Windows. Based on the data analysis, it shows that the value of rcount is 0.472 > rtable is 0.468, and by using a significance limit of 0.05. From the results of the study it also appears that with the application of self-management strategies 31.25% of students have low social media addiction and 68.75% of students have moderate social media addiction. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between self-management strategies through group guidance on social media addiction in students at MAN 4 Agam. Which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Based on the results of the coefficient of determination obtained results of 98.5%. Based on this value, it can be interpreted that the effect of implementing self-management strategies on reducing social media addiction in students is 98.5%, while 1.5% is influenced by other factors not included in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to increase the learning interest of PGSD UMN AL Washliyah students in the subject of Learning Problems in Elementary School. This type of research is class action research (PTK) with descriptive qualitative data presentation. The research instrument is a questionnaire sheet of student learning interest and essay test questions , This research was conducted for 2 cycles in each cycle consisting of 2 meetings, the results of this study were In cycle 1 for indicators of feeling happy about learning obtained an average percentage of 78.78%, on indicators of attention and thoughts focused on learning obtained an average percentage - an average of 44.45%, for the indicator of having a willingness to learn an average percentage of 33.33%, for the indicator of feeling that one has to be active in learning an average percentage of 57.57% is obtained, for the indicator of realizing the desire to learn a percentage of 75 is obtained, 75% and for cycle 2 indicators feel happy about dip learning obtained an average percentage of 100%, the indicators of attention and thinking focus on learning obtained an average percentage of 84.84%, the indicator of having a willingness to learn obtained an average percentage of 90.90%, the indicator of feeling that one must be active in learning obtained the average percentage is 81.81%, the indicator of realizing the desire to learn is a percentage of 100%. From the questionnaire data obtained in cycle 2, the researcher saw an increase in the learning interest of PGSD UMN Al Washliyah students. This was proven in cycle 2, the achievement of each indicator had reached the minimum criteria of 75%, thus concluding that the application of Ice Breaking could increase the learning interest of PGSD UMN Al students. Washliyah in the subject of Learning Problems in Elementary School, for other supporting data, namely the completeness of learning outcomes in cycle 1 reaches 69.7% and the completeness of learning outcomes in cycle 2 reaches 97.97% so that there is an increase in learning outcomes from cycle 1 to cycle 2 reaching 28 .27%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the Karawang area which has several languages ​​used because of the many influencing factors. Differences in community groups are reflected in the variety of languages ​​of the community groups. Language in society is an inseparable unit. Therefore, language becomes an intermediary in order to interact with each other. Language variations that are formed from different usage based on the speakers. The differences that speakers use to communicate in everyday life in society. The purpose of this study was to obtain language variations in Pakisjaya sub-district, Karawang district, West Java. In this research method using description method by analyzing qualitative data. The form of the research is descriptive qualitative which in practice is in the form of a case study. The results of this study are the variations of the language obtained and examples of speakers' utterances that are carried out daily by the community. Then describe the meaning of the conversation used by the Pakisjaya sub-district community, West Java district. There are several factors influencing the occurrence of language variations. Language differences in society that become the existence of language variations.

Abstract

A piece of news about a teacher who sexually abused his own student continues to be a hot topic of conversation. Teacher molestation of students is an abnormal activity that can violate a teacher’s code of ethics. This reporting cannot be separated from the framing carried out by news writers. The existence of a framing formed by a journalist becomes an idea or ideas that can generate a lot of public opinion. This study uses the Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kociski framing analysis model by focusing on four structural dimensions of news text as a framing device, including: (1) syntactic structure, (2) script structure, (3) thematic structure, (4) rhetorical structure. The purpose of this study is to get an overview and understanding of how the online media Kompas.com and Detik.com frame reporting on cases of sexual abuse of elementary school students against students in Bekasi.
