Abstract

Research on Oral Corrective Feedback, especially related to its factors, has become a topic that is still widely discussed in teaching English because various application contexts will produce different conclusions. That is why it is important to study this topic further where this research aims to test a group by applying a single pretest-posttest method by providing oral Corrective Feedback. The participants in this study were a lecturer and 27 students in a Speaking English for Academic Purposes (ESP) class at the State Islamic University in Malang, East Java. The results showed an increase in the mean score from the pretest to the posttest. This means that giving Corrective Feedback provides benefits during the learning process for students in improving. Several factors in Corrective Feedback can explain how students respond to the Corrective Feedback given so that Corrective Feedback can play a significant role in improving the competence of speaking English. It is hoped that by understanding the use of Corrective Feedback, teachers, lecturers and educational practitioners will better understand which types of Corrective Feedback can have a positive impact on improving English speaking competence for English learners as a foreign language.

Abstract

People are a company's most important asset, carrying out policies and operational activities. The employees with high performance will be the driving force to achieve company goals. The performance of employees must be monitored so that they are skilled and responsible for the tasks assigned. The leadership style is believed to be one of the factors that affects employee performance. The leadership style is thought to be one of the factors that influence employee performance. An unpopular leadership style will result in lower employee performance. Other factors include work motivation, where providing motivation can inspire enthusiasm for producing better work. Another is rewarding achievement, which encourages employees to be more positive in their work and boosts their performance. This study aims to test and analyze the effects of leadership style, work motivation, and reward achievement on employee performance at PT Grab Teknologi Indonesia in West Java Province. The research method uses descriptive and verifiable techniques, collecting data through the distribution of questionnaires. The study found that leadership style, motivation, and reward achievement are significant factors affecting employee performance by 49.2%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how blended learning can be used to increase students' interest in learning. Blended Learning is an application created to address the limitations between educators and students, specifically in terms of space and time. Motivation to learn is a psychological aspect that manifests itself in some symptoms, such as; passion, desire, feelings of liking to change behavior through various activities that include seeking knowledge and experience. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a phenomenological approach, namely describing or portraying research objects based on facts that are visible or as they are. The research results show that learning can be done online using blended learning, so it is necessary to give full attention in learning and the existence of such attention because students are happy and challenged to follow the learning activities in class and in the classroom. The level of interest that students have in learning is affected by both internal and external factors. Students who are physically and mentally capable, and who have supportive learning environments, are more likely to be interested in learning. The use of blended learning methods is very helpful in learning during times of pandemics like the present, as it can help spark children's interest in learning and keep them motivated.

Abstract

The research was conducted at SD N Padang Bujur in Sipirok District. The study used Spearman's rank correlation research. The aims of the study were to: Know the relationship between the father's role in parenting and Mathematical Intelligence in Students of SD N Padang Bujur Sipirok. This study resulted in an average father's role in parenting of 99.28 while the average mathematical intelligence was 97.28. From the results of the analysis calculations in answering the research hypothesis, it is obtained ρ count = 0.995 with a very strong category and ρ table = 0.339. So it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the father's role in parenting and Mathematical Intelligence in SD N Padangbujur Sipirok students with a contribution of 99%. This means that the role of fathers in parenting is needed in shaping students' mathematical intelligence.

Abstract

Education is one way to improve the quality of human resources. The activity of providing learning materials to students so that they can have adequate knowledge and provide benefits in life. The development of science and technology is increasingly encouraging reform efforts in the use of technological results in the learning process. Teachers as educators are required to be able to use technology in the learning process. The learning design developed by the teacher is designed by implementing an ASSURE model in the learning process. The learning design is arranged, arranged, and designed as attractive as possible so as to create a pleasant learning atmosphere for students. Educators also develop learning media using the Powtoon platform. Using computer-based multimedia and video interactive, with the material "Composing Explanatory Text" which has been determined on the basis of easier student understanding of non-printed media in learning. Integrated thematic learning links Indonesian language subjects to provide real experiences for students and improve learning outcomes for students. In addition, it also helps teachers in evaluating the learning process that has been implemented

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study tested the stability of the chemical content of essential oils from citrus fruit peels and ylang flowers. The aim of the study was to determine the feasibility of the chemical content in the essential oils of orange peel and ylang flowers. The research method used is laboratory tests and descriptive analysis in the collection and analysis of research data. The results of the study showed that the pH contained in essential oils was classified as acidic, so it could be used as aromatherapy. The conclusion of the research from the research that has been done needs further research related to the shelf life and durability of essential oils.

Abstract

The aim is to find out the Catholic Teacher's Efforts in Improving Students' Spiritual Values ​​at SD Inpres Lewobele. The approach of this research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using interview techniques, observation and documentation. The data collected through this technique was then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of this study indicate that the spiritual values ​​of SD Inpres Lewobele Elementary School students are still found by students who have not good spiritual values, but there are also students who already have good spiritual values. The Catholic teacher's efforts to increase the spiritual value of students have been carried out by the Catholic teacher, but the role of the Catholic teacher as a whole is still needed so that increasing the spiritual value is well realized.

Abstract

Variations in teacher methods and flexibility in the learning process will be able to create more effective learning, because it can reduce boredom during learning, one of which is the singing method. This study aims to find out and understand the application of the singing method in the mufradat learning of madrasah students in Haurgeulis, Indramayu. Qualitative research with this descriptive method describes a state of the object under study. The population is teachers and students of class VII, with a sample of Arabic language teachers and students of class VII B. The data will be collected using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study are that the application of the singing method in learning Arabic mufradat in class VII MTs Nurul Hikmah Haurgeulis Indramayu can be said to be good, because the educators carry out three stages of learning, namely main activities, core activities and closing activities. The application of this singing method also has advantages and disadvantages, the advantage is that it can cause a feeling of joy and delight in students and increases a sense of enthusiasm, students more easily understand and memorize the material presented. While the drawback is that this method is not suitable for upper class students because the material presented is different and broader and not suitable for quiet students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine students' perceptions of the performance of physical education, sports and health teachers at SMA Yadika Baturaja. The research method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method. The population of this research is SMA Yadika Baturaja. Data collection techniques carried out with research questionnaires. Research data analysis technique with proportion analysis. The results of the study can be concluded that students' perceptions of the performance of PJOK teachers because of the pedagogical aspects owned by the teacher amounted to 78% or the good category, student perceptions of the performance of PJOK teachers because of the personality aspects owned by the teacher amounted to 69.9% or the category is quite good, student perceptions on the performance of PJOK teachers because of the social aspect that the teacher has is 82.37% or the good category, and students' perceptions of the performance of PJOK teachers because of the professional aspect of the teacher is 80.2% or the good category. While students' perceptions of PJOK teacher performance as a whole amounted to 76.61% in the good category.

Abstract

This study aims to deermine the development of gross motor skills in group B children (5-6 years) in Aisiyah 2 Palembang. This research is a type of experimental quantitative descriptive research method. Namely by using singing activities in front of the class to develop gross motor skills in children at kindergarten Aisiyah 2 Palembang. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of singing activities in front of the class on the gross motor development of children in kindergarten Aisiyah 2 Palembang. Then it is obtained that the significant value (2-tailed) is 0.000 because the signifivant value is less than 0.025, then Ho is rejected, meaning Ha is accapted, so there is a significant difference in singing activities in front of the class on gross motoric development of children in kindergarten B Aisiyah 2 Palembang.
