Abstract

This research is a pre-experimental research conducted to find out the subject knowledge abilities of PGSD FIP UNM Campus VI Bone students who are programming the Elementary Science Basic Concepts course in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year on the topic of Units through a type B isomorphic test. The birth of a profile/picture the ability of subject knowledge of PGSD FIP UNM Campus VI Bone students who are programming the Elementary Science Basic Concepts course in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year on the topic of Units through the type B isomorphic test is the target to be achieved. To achieve this target, the researcher explored the subject knowledge abilities of the students who were the target subjects by giving a type B isomorphic test. The test was in the form of a written test. The research subjects were PGSD FIP UNM Campus VI Bone students who were programming the Science Basic Concepts Course in the Even Semester of the 2021/2022 Academic Year. Data collection is done by recording test results. The analysis technique uses descriptive analysis. The results showed that students (respondents) who scored in the "very good" category were 25 or 96.2% of people with details of the score, namely: 7 or 26.9% scored 90, 15 or 57.7% scored 85, and 3 or 11.5% get a score of 80. The rest, namely one person or 3.8% get the "good" category. Furthermore, the minimum score obtained by students is 75 (good category), the maximum score is 90 (very good category), the average student score is 85.38 (very good category) with a standard deviation of 3.721. Conclusion: the description of students' subject knowledge abilities on the topic of Units through the type B isomorphic test is that the average ability is in the "very good" category, the range is 75, the minimum score is 75 and the maximum value is 90, the variance is 13,846, and the standard deviation is 3.721 or 4.358% of the average which indicates that the data deviation is less than 5%. That is, the deviation rate of student grade data in this study is very small or negligible.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the teacher only provides literature teaching materials that are already available in theme books, resulting in a lack of student experience in understanding literary works in Indonesian language learning. This research aims to analyze a review of the sociology of literature in Ms. D. Gutman and to find out its relevance to literature teaching materials in elementary school. This study uses a type of qualitative research, with content analysis methods. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. The data source was obtained from the children's novel Ms.Hannah Who Likes Garbage Collection by D.Gutman. The research results obtained show that there are four sociological aspects, namely social aspects, economic aspects, educational aspects, and moral aspects. Ms.'s children's novel Hannah Who Loves Garbage Collection by D. Gutman fulfills the criteria of teaching materials that are appropriate for use and educate readers. There is an intrinsic element in the novel as well as a support that can be used when studying literature in class. Thus, Ms.'s children's novel. Hannah Who Loves Garbage Collection by D. Gutman is relevant to literature teaching materials in elementary schools. Teachers as educators as well as teachers should be more selective in providing good reading materials for students and be careful in choosing teaching materials that will be used as examples of learning in class.

Abstract

Cryptography is a science that studies information security on data with the aim of preventing other people from wanting to know its contents, by using certain codes and rules and other methods so that only authorized people can see the contents of the code. By creating an application which uses the Java programming language with NetBeans to maintain the security of text input information sent by someone so that it is not easy to read, confidential text. The caesar algorithm is a classic substitution-based cipher system that is simple in encryption and decryption of a caesar cipher system using shift operations. The Vigenere Cipher algorithm is a classic cryptographic algorithm that utilizes the vigenere square principle to perform encryption.

Abstract

The act of speech directive in Ika Natassa's novel "Antology Rasa" is discussed in this study. The goal of this research is twofold: (1) Describing the form of dialogue directives in Ika Natassa's novel Antology of Rasa; (2) Explaining the types of speech substances directives found in the novel Antology of Rasa. A pragmatic approach was used in this study. Pragmatics is a branch of psychology that studies the meaning of language. The researcher employs a descriptive qualitative method with note that read in this study. The data in this study are written data in the form of individual conversation data containing speech directives. Based on the results of the study, it can be determined that the form of the speech directive contained in the novel is a form of governing, asking, advocating, asking.

Abstract

Based on the findings of observations, it was determined that students in class V still lacked adequate communication skills. It was found that only 50% of students saw the other person when communicating, 50% of students with a clear voice when speaking, 40% of students used good grammar, 40% of students with mastery of material content, and 45% of students who used gestures and facial expressions as communication aids. This study aims to address the issue of students' verbal and nonverbal communication skills in class V UPT SD Negeri 51 Gresik in order to apply the role-playing method to social studies learning. Class Action Research Method (CAR). The steps taken to conduct this research were divided into four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The method of collecting data in this study is observing teacher activities, observing student activities, and observing students' communication skills. According to the findings of this study's analysis, using the role-playing technique enables students to develop effective communication with teachers and their peers. Then in the implementation of role playing or doing role play, students are more active and responsive from the beginning to the end of learning. Thus the role playing method to improve students' communication skills is declared effective.

Abstract

One of the most important lessons in elementary school is understanding what they read. While reading comprehension is essential to academic success, not all students demonstrate adequate proficiency. The researcher interviewed and observed classes in SD Negeri 8 Menteng Palangka Raya, notably sixth grade, and found this issue. The researcher utilized one of the instructions to promote reading comprehension from that issue. Vocabulary instruction could increase English text comprehension, according to the study. This semester, students studied Describing People and Objects and picked descriptive text. The researcher solved the challenge with a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design. This study had two groups: 6A (control) and 6C (experimental). The experimental group randomly sampled vocabulary training, while the control group received non-vocabulary education. There were also two variables in this study: vocabulary teaching served as the independent variable, and the mean scores of both groups' tests served as the dependent variable. Pre- and post-test results determined the class's vocabulary instruction effectiveness. Finally, the data showed that vocabulary instruction improves reading comprehension more than non-vocabulary instruction. Scores were less than 0.05, rejecting H0 and accepting Ha. Data less than 0.05 indicates that independent variables only partially impact the dependent variable. Vocabulary education improves students' reading comprehension in SD Negeri 8 Menteng Palangka Raya.

Abstract

The application of literacy in elementary schools is very important for the continuity of the learning process and in order to shape student character. Low awareness of literacy is a problem in the application and development of student character. The purpose of this study was to find out how to implement character values based on the profiles of Pancasila students through the literacy culture at SDN 1 Brantaksekarjati. The method used is narrative-qualitative. The research was conducted at SDN 1 Brantaksekarjati in November 2022 with research subjects of class IV students, taking into account the criteria of the students' habits in the learning process and the homeroom teacher using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and data retrieval. The validity of the data in the study was tested using a credibility test with method triangulation and source triangulation. The results showed that students had fulfilled 4 of the 6 indicators in applying the Pancasila student profile through literacy activities. Although the implementation of literacy activities in schools appears to be going well, individual student literacy awareness remains relatively low.

Abstract

This study aims to identify, classify imperative forms and analyze imperative sentence functions. This research is a qualitative research. This study uses instruments in the form of human instruments, researchers with all their knowledge regarding the use of Indonesian orally which includes pragmatics in the form of speech. The data source for this research is a film called Imperfect. The results of the study show that: (1.) the imperfect film uses six kinds of imperative sentences. Imperative imperative sentences are the most used in imperfect films, which consist of 21 imperative sentences, 24 imperative sentences of request, 20 imperative sentences of invitation, 3 imperative sentences of hope or request, 8 imperative sentences of prohibition, and 2 imperative sentences of omission.

Abstract

People with disabilities are entitled to respectable work. Law Number 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities was released by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (UUPD). State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) are required under Article 53 paragraph (1) UUPD to employ persons with disabilities at least 2% of all workers. In order to fulfill the right of persons with disabilities to get a job, this research was conducted to examine the possibilities and problems faced by stakeholders and persons with disabilities in BUMN. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research design. Fulfillment of these rights in BUMN has not been implemented, according to research findings. This occurs as a result of prejudice in certain industries and positions, a breakdown in acceptance and competency standards in the workplace, and the lack of education and skills of persons with disabilities.

Abstract

This research explores the use of Islamic religious teaching in an effort to shape the Islamic personality of Muslim students. The research used is qualitative research. The research methodology uses multidisciplinary methods from various fields, including management, pedagogy, sociology, and psychology. Islamic Education instructors are the main data source for this study. The study also used theories on learning methodology, school profiles, Islamic religious education and Muslim personality development as secondary data sources. Observation, interview and documentation were used as data collection methods. The stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing were used in the data analysis technique. According to the research findings, two learning strategies - direct learning and indirect learning - are used by Islamic religious education to help students develop their Muslim personality. The supporting variables of Islamic Religious Education teachers' strategies in developing students' Muslim personality in terms of Islamic Religious Education learning include: 1) School policy, 2) Teacher collaboration, and 3) Family and community context. The limiting elements are: 1) Students' ignorance about behaviors that show Muslim mentality; 2) Family and community environment. Family and community environment. In order to have a positive impact on students' religious behavior, discipline, and respect for others, the results of the Application of Islamic Education Teacher Strategies in Islamic Education Learning still require improvement and special attention in terms of developing disciplinary behavior.
