Abstract

This study examines the impact of the dual role of women farm laborers on household life. Women in this study not only play a role as housewives, but also work as farm laborers. This condition certainly has an impact on household life. Based on this, this study aims to describe the impact of the dual role of women farm laborers on household life in Jorong Lubuk Pering Nagari Koto Baru District, Dharmasraya Regency. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive type. Data collection techniques were observation, interview, and document study. The unit of analysis in this research is a group, namely female laborers. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study stated that the impact of the dual role of women farm laborers on household life (1) the impact on the reproductive function, (2) the impact on the productive function, (3) the impact on the community work function.

Abstract

This research is entitled Profile of Adolescent Deviant Behavior in Jorong Makmur Pasaman Timur. The background of this research is that there are teenagers who take part in illegal racing, there are teenagers who speed on public streets, there are teenagers who run away from home when fighting with their parents, there are teenagers who skip school, there are teenagers who get drunk, there are teenagers who gamble, there are teenagers returning home at dawn, teenagers making noise at night and teenagers joining in brawls. This study aims to describe the forms of adolescent deviant behavior in Jorong Makmur, East Pasaman seen from: 1) Nonconforming actions. 2) Antisocial acts. 3) Criminal Acts. This type of research was conducted using a quantitative descriptive method. The study population consisted of 39 adolescents selected by total sampling technique with 39 participants. The instrument used is a questionnaire. As for data analysis using interval scores and percentages. The results of research on forms of adolescent deviant behavior in Jorong Makmur, East Pasaman are seen from: 1) Nonconforming actions are in the small category. 2) Antisocial acts are in very little category. 3) Criminal acts are in the very few categories. This research is recommended for adolescents so that they are not easily influenced by deviant behavior by carrying out activities and joining positive communities

Abstract

This study aims to determine the financial management and marketing strategies implemented by Azhar Abdullah songket weaving micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Batu Bara District. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using primary data. Interview and documentation data collection techniques. The subject of this research is the owner of a micro, small and medium enterprise (MSMEs), Mr. Azhar Abdullah. The results of this study indicate that Azhar Abdullah songket weaving in his financial management has not implemented good financial management which consists of planning, recording, reporting and controlling. Whereas in the marketing strategy, the products produced are of high quality and quality, prices are in accordance with quality, distribution places are easy to reach, but have not carried out promotions on social media

Abstract

The background for the development of the Android-assisted E-LKPD was that the science practicum activities in the laboratory could not be carried out on time because they had to take turns with other classes, and the practicum tools were not qualified to support science learning. Teachers use teaching materials such as textbooks and LKS. Textbooks only contain text and pictures, cannot contain videos and animations that support it so that students do not understand the material and have difficulty relating learning to everyday life. In science learning itself, there are many discussions that require animation, if you are only guided by printed books, what is conveyed will not be realized. The purpose of this study was to produce valid and practical android-assisted E-LKPD in Class VIII science subjects in junior high schools. The type of development used is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used in this study uses the model proposed by Borg and Gall up to 5 stages of development. The data obtained will be analyzed using a Likert scale. The development of the Android-assisted E-LKPD was assessed by 2 media validators, namely lecturers from the Department of Curriculum and Educational Technology and material validators, namely Science Subject Teachers at SMPN 3 Pariaman. The practicality assessment was carried out by 15 class VIII students of SMPN 3 Pariaman. The product validity test results for the media aspect are categorized as "Valid" by obtaining an average score of 4 from validator I and 4.93 from Validator II. The results of the validity assessment for material aspects are categorized as "Very Valid" by obtaining an average score of 4.89. The practicality test results obtained obtained an average value of 4.68 in the category of "Very Practical". Thus the development of Android-assisted E-LKPD in science subjects for grade VIII in junior high schools is appropriate to be used as a learning medium and to support the learning process as well as a learning resource for students.

Abstract

With the current learning conditions that are increasingly advanced, students need supporting learning media, namely flexible learning media that students can access without having to be in the classroom. However, the use of learning media is still lacking and limited, especially technology-based learning media such as learning games. Learning games using Wordwall can help teachers develop instructional media that students can practically access outside of the classroom. The goal achieved in this study is to determine the feasibility and practicality of the learning game. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used in this study is the ASSURE model which has 6 stages of development, namely analyze learner, state objectives, select instructional method, utilize media and materials, require learner participation, evaluate and revise. The results of the validity test of learning game media by media expert I are categorized as "Very Valid" with the highest score of 5 and the lowest score of 4, getting a total of 53 points with an average of 4.81. Meanwhile, media expert II's media validity assessment data is also categorized as "Very Valid" with the highest score of 5 and the lowest score of 4, the total number of points is 54 with an average of 4.90. As well as the practicality test results of this learning game in the "Very Practical" category by obtaining a total score of 963 out of a maximum score of 1,000, an average score of 4.8. Development of learning games using the Wordwall platform on Theme 3 Class V Elementary Schools is appropriate for use as a learning medium and supports the learning process.

Abstract

This research aimed to explore the students’ perception of using e-book to improve literacy skill. It was quantitative method by using survey design. The sample in this research was the third-semester students at the English Education Department of UNISKA Banjarmasin in the academic year 2022/2023. In collecting the data, the close ended questionnaire was used to explore the students’ perceptions of using e-book to improve literacy skill. There were 20 statements which divided into four indicators, namely: 1) motivation and interest, 2) effectiveness, 3) flexibility, and 4) preferences. It was found that most of the students attained positive perception on the motivation and interest, effectiveness, and preferences. Then, they had very positive perception on the flexibility. Moreover, the overall result of the students’ perception showed that the highest percentage was agreed with 54% and the mean score was 3.98. It can be concluded that most of the students on the third-semester at the English Education Department of UNISKA Banjarmasin in the academic year 2022/2023 agreed and they attained positive perception of using e-book to improve literacy skill.

Abstract

This research is intended to answer the following problems: 1) How is the application of character education through the explicit instruction learning model in the subject of moral principles. 2) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the application of character education through the explicit instruction learning model in the subject of moral principles. 3) What are the advantages and disadvantages of the explicit instruction learning model in the subject of moral ethics. This research uses a type of field research research, namely field research conducted in madrasas. While the research approach that researchers use is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The source of the research is obtained through two different data, namely primary data and secondary data. In this thesis the author uses the theory of Miles and Huberman models to analyze data, namely through data reduction, data display, and data verification. The results of the research are as follows: 1) The explicit instruction learning model is applied on an ongoing basis to students in the Aqeedah Akhlak subject by demonstrating it continuously so that students can realize the values ​​of character education that must be achieved. 2) The application of character education through the explicit instruction learning model is supported by the cohesiveness of the teacher in providing motivation and educating, and supporting activities outside of teaching and learning activities (habituation and extracurricular activities), but is hampered by disturbances of loss of concentration which often occurs in some students. 3) The advantages of the explicit instruction learning model occur in teachers who have time flexibility in conveying material or experiences that can build the noble character of students, but have the disadvantage that teachers are really required to master the material, be active and extra active, so that they can master the class well. maximum.

Abstract

Education is a very important factor for society in ensuring its survival. Education cannot be separated from its relationship with society. The problem is that there is a perception that education does not necessarily guarantee a bright future. This is evidenced by a large number of unemployed college graduates, which causes a wrong perception of education. From this background, the researcher wanted to discuss it in a thesis and took the Public Perception of Private Islamic Higher Education in Ngagrong Hamlet, Wonolelo Village, Sawangan District, Magelang Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation methods, sorting them out to answer the problem formulation and then looking for and finding the meaning related to the problem formulation. The results of this study show that the perception of the people of Ngagrong Hamlet towards private Islamic religious higher education is quite good, that education can make their lives prosperous in the future. Therefore, this should be supported by quality abilities in the form of knowledge from higher education and the ability to practice in the community. Most public perceptions support their sons and daughters to pursue private Islamic religious higher education. The level of education of the people of Dusun Ngagrong is relatively high, although. However universities are still very minority, but the majority of the younger generation is now continuing their education from the junior high class, and upper middle class to college.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of legal protection for waste cleaning workers according to Law Number 13 of 2003 at PT. Hendrian and obstacles in implementing legal protection for waste cleaning workers at PT. Hendrian.The research method used is, the nature of this research is normative empirical, using primary and secondary data, so that the data collection techniques are interviews, documentation, observation and literature, after obtaining the data it will be analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Based on the results of the study, it can be explained that the legal protection of waste cleaning workers by PT. Hendrian as the company that employs is still lacking, where there are still unilateral layoffs by the company and the completeness of the facilities or work equipment is still lacking, this is of course very clearly contrary to the provisions of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning employment and obstacles in the implementation of legal protection for waste cleaning workers in PT. Hendrian, namely, the company does not carry out job socialization to workers; low level of education of workers; the workers do not understand the duties and responsibilities according to the employment contract; workers are not aware of the existence of Law Number 13 of 2003 which can be used as a guide in the event of a violation of their rights.

Abstract

This research originated from the low dribbling ability in the football game of SMP Negeri 10 Kerinci students. The problem is caused by many factors including agility and eye-foot coordination. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is a relationship between agility and eye-foot coordination with the dribbling ability of football players at SMP Negeri 10 Kerinci. This type of research uses correlational. The population is all members of the SMP Negeri 10 Kerinci football team as many as 25 players. Samples are taken with the entire population, Data retrieval techniques using tests. To measure agility using a back and forth running test with a distance of 4x10 meters, for the eye-foot coordination variable using the eye-foot coordination target test and for the dribbling variable with a zigzag dribbling test past the seat as many as 5 pieces. The data analysis techniques used are: product moment techniques and multiple correlations. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between agility and dribbling ability obtained tcount 2.696 > ttable 1.71 with correlation results or r = 0.490. For the second hypothesis there is a significant relationship between eye-foot coordination and dribbling ability obtained tcount 2.137 > ttable 1.71 with correlation results or r = 0.407. Furthermore, there is a significant relationship between agility and eye-foot coordination together with the dribbling ability of football players at SMP Negeri 10 Kerinci obtained Fcalculate 5.34 > Ftable 3.44 with correlation results or r = 0.249.
