Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence complaint handling has on customer trust in Indomaret minimarkets in the city of Bitung (a case study on Indomaret winenet), and the population and sample in this study were all Indomaret customers who gave complaints as many as 63 customers. The method used in this research is a quantitative method or method. And the data used in this study are primary data obtained from respondents by filling out a questionnaire that is measured using an ordinal measurement scale. The analysis technique used in this study is the research instrument test, classical assumption test, Simple Linear Regression Analysis, research hypothesis test, coefficient of determination. The analysis tool uses SPSS ver 2.6, the variables used in this study are complaint handling, customer trust. Based on the results of this study, the conclusions obtained are that variable (X) handling complaints has a positive and significant effect on variable (Y) customer trust.

Abstract

This research and development stems from the problem of students experiencing difficulty in expressing ideas or thoughts when composing expository texts. This is due to various factors, such as students having limited practice in writing expository texts and the limited availability of learning sources and supporting media. This research aims to design and develop a learning media product using the Think Talk Write strategy on the subject of writing expository texts. The learning media product is developed by implementing the steps of the 4D model development procedure, which are Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The developed media product is then tested for its level of validity through a validity test by experts and practitioners. The results of the product validity test show that the average percentage score obtained is 85.07% with the category of "Very Feasible," which means that the media product can be implemented in field trial activities. The results of the field trial with students in the classroom show that the average percentage score obtained is 88.62% out of 8 aspects assessed by the students. The score obtained from the field trial activity indicates that the developed learning media product is very feasible, effective, and practical to use in supporting learning activities, especially in writing expository texts.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of digital transformation and innovation on organizational performance. Digital transformation and innovation are in the spotlight in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 which have influenced and changed many things in the field of education. The existence of digital transformation and innovation that is carried out encourages skills and competencies to improve organizational performance which is one of the most important goals for the organization. This study uses a quantitative approach. The collecting data using a survey by distributing questionnaires. The respondents of this study were 83 teachers and employees from the Yayasan Marsudirini Cabang Yogyakarta at the elementary to middle education level. Testing the hypothesis of this study using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) processed with SmartPLS. The results of the study show that digital transformation has a positive effect on organizational performance. Digital transformation has a positive effect on innovation. Innovation has a positive effect on organizational performance. The findings of this study prove that digital transformation and innovation have a positive influence on organizational performance which can encourage the Yayasan Marsudirini Cabang Yogyakarta schools to continue to strive for competitive advantage in providing educational services.

Abstract

Mathematical communication is a very important ability and must be possessed by students in learning mathematics. Mathematical communication plays a role in understanding mathematical ideas correctly. The problem of the low mathematical communication ability of class XI IPA students at SMA Negeri 6 Skouw Kota Jayapura indicates that something is wrong in the process of learning mathematics. The low students' mathematical communication can be tried to be improved and developed by applying the articulation learning model. This research approach is quantitative with this type of experimental research with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study were students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 6 Skouw Kota Jayapura, totaling 40 people divided into 2 classes, namely, XI IPA 1 totaling 20 people, XI IPA 2 totaling 20 people. The sampling technique is total sampling. Data collection technique is a test. The type of instrument is a written test in the form of an essay. Data analysis techniques are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (requirement test (test for normality using the Lilliefors analysis method and homogeneity test using the Fisher analysis method and hypothesis testing using the normalized gain analysis method (n-gain) and independent sample t test). Testing the hypothesis using a two-party test with the independent sample t test analysis method shows that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of the articulation learning model on the mathematical communication skills of class XI IPA students at SMA Negeri 6 Skouw Jayapura City.

Abstract

One of the cultural heritages of the Indonesian nation is the Etu traditional boxing tradition. Besides being loaded with various skills and dexterity for self-defense, Etu's traditional boxing is also to test virility, courage between youths in Nagekeo district who are rich with the traditions that surround them. Etu's traditional boxing sport is very rich in socio-cultural values and philosophy of meaning. This study aims to find out, 1) The noble values contained in Etu 2) Describe the role of traditional elders/traditional leaders in implementing Etu, 3) Describe the formation of Community Character in Etu sports. in the Nagekeo district of East Nusa Tenggara, and saw the process of inheriting the Etu traditional boxing sport from generation to generation. This study uses a qualitative approach where data is obtained using Miles Matthew's analysis. B and Huberman Michael, which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and ends with drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that Etu traditional boxing is not just a sport, but is full of value and meaning in people's lives. The process of inheriting Etu's traditional boxing has also been going well to date

Abstract

In the era of the COVID-19 pandemic, saving activities are becoming increasingly important for students as a strategy in dealing with future economic uncertainties. However, there are several factors that can influence student saving behavior during this pandemic. Some of these factors include the influence of financial conditions, the level of closeness with family, access to technology, and psychological factors. During the COVID-19 pandemic, students around the world are facing increasing economic uncertainty. Therefore, saving is an important strategy for students in facing an uncertain future. However, various factors such as financial conditions, relationships with family, access to technology, and psychological factors can influence student saving behavior. This requires extra attention from educational institutions and financial institutions in providing the necessary education and support for students in facing economic challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used is the literature method by conducting a literature search that is relevant to the research topic using sources such as online databases, journals, books, articles, and other publications. That the factors influencing student saving behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic may vary, such as personal financial conditions, general economic stability, the influence of family and friends, and lifestyle changes that have occurred as a result of the pandemic.

Abstract

This research is a single variable, namely a test of basic technical skills in playing table tennis for students of the Physical and Health Study Program class of 2021. The research in this research is a quantitative study in which the authors want to know the test of basic technical skills in playing table tennis for students of the Physical and Health Study Program class of 2021. The method in this research is a quantitative method the population used in this study is 80 samples in this study are 40 people variable in this study is a single variable instrument in this study measurement instrument through several test items service test, block test, push test, forhand test based on initial test results and the final test which is processed into data is processed using a statistical formula, so testing the hypothesis in this study can be proven that there are playing skills in Physical Education and Health and Recreation students class of 2021.

Abstract

Music is said to affect one's musical emotions when listening to music through electronic devices or watching live music performances. This study aims to find out how the musical elements and expressions in helaehili chant affect the audience's musical emotions in the traditional wedding rituals of the Sentani people. The research method used to conduct this research is ethnography. This research lasted for one month in Puay village, East Sentani District and Abar village in Central Sentani District, located in Jayapura Regency, Papua Province. The informants in this study were 5 people who had broad insights regarding the customs of the Sentani people. Apart from that, the main, second and third sources were also chanters, each of whom had been singing various types of chants for the Sentani people for more than 20 years. Meanwhile, the fourth and fifth sources are traditional leaders who have an important role in the community in Puay and Abar villages. The researcher collected data by conducting a literature review, uninvolved and involved observations, semi-structured interviews, translating the audio and video data of the researcher's chanting helaehili into writing. The researcher used an H6 zoom audio recording device and a Sony camcorder to document the entire interview process. The results of this study are the musical elements and expressions expressed by helaehili singers in wedding rituals can affect the audience's musical emotions. So that listeners can enjoy and at the same time feel the impression of sadness and happiness. Thus it can be concluded that musical elements and expressions are the language of musical communication which allows for emotional musical responses between the singer and the listener.

Abstract

The subject that is taken in this research is the cultural values of Malay on the sequel of “Padang Bulan” and “Cinta di Dalam Gelas” written by Andrea Hirata. This research uses qualitative technique with content analysis technique method, which described several datas on the texts of the novel correctly. The datas which has been classified will be described and explained based on the context that relates with the datas.By the result of this research, it can be assumed that there are structure and value on the sequel. First, the intrinsic and extrinsic on the structure of the sequel.

Abstract

Advances in science and technology accompanied by the rapid flow of globalization have had their own impact on human life, one of which is the development of technology in the field of communication. In the field of religion, it can be seen from significant changes, namely that Buddhism has begun to keep up with the times by using technology in carrying out religious activities such as dhamma lectures and online devotional service but there are still activities in Buddhism that have not been well coordinated, namely the dharmayatra ritual, therefore the researchers took the initiative to create a Dharmayatra Digitalization Service media in Indonesia called SIDHARTA (Dharmayatra Nusantara Application System). Dharmayatra activities from temple entrance tickets, travel routes, Dharmaytra packages, Dharmayatra guides, In developing this application researchers use the Development Life Circle Waterfall which has six steps The "SIDHARTA" application is an application that can be used by Buddhists in Indonesia. Through this application, it can facilitate the implementation of Dharmayatra ritual activities in Indonesia through the facilities available in the application.
