Abstract

The principal's administration can influence school activities. This research uses qualitative research and describes the problems studied. This type of research uses qualitative research to identify and describe the role of the principal in improving teacher performance at SMP IT Babunjah Menes. Therefore this type of site-based research is field research where researchers go directly to the field to see firsthand what the purpose of the research is. Qualitative research has three data collection techniques, namely interviews, documentation and observation. Based on the results of this study, there are two things that are in line with the problems that the researchers found, including 1). The principal as a leader can motivate and direct stakeholders to work well in accordance with the school's vision and mission to improve teacher performance. 2). Principal management as a leader provides evaluations to increase teacher effectiveness in advancing schools 3). Among other things, the big role of the school principal in implementing the management process and managing it appropriately according to the work program that has been prepared to produce the best results, greatly influences the change and improvement of teacher performance. school. very good results. The role of the principal in providing directions in improving teacher performance has been fulfilled, but not all of them have increased greatly.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study aimed at determining the cognitive abilities of students in the process dimension and knowledge dimension based on the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy on the topic of Circulatory System for Grade XI Science students at SMAN 1 Tinambung. Understanding students' cognitive abilities is important for maximizing higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) as well as developing authentic learning plans and evaluation tools. The research instrument used was a cognitive ability test based on the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy. The research data were obtained by analyzing the Biology Lesson Implementation Plan for Grade XI Science and by administering a cognitive ability test to the students. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistics. Based on the analysis of the Lesson Implementation Plan, the cognitive abilities taught by the teacher were as follows: C1 (Remembering) 68.75%, C2 (Understanding) 18.75%, and C4 (Analyzing) 12.50%, as well as factual knowledge 62.50% and conceptual knowledge 37.50%. The conclusion drawn from the results of the students' cognitive ability test based on the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy for multiple-choice questions is as follows: C1 (Remembering) 68.42%, C2 (Understanding) 46.05%, C3 (Applying) 21.05%, C4 (Analyzing) 60.53%, and C5 (Evaluating) 26.32%, as well as factual knowledge 57.89% and conceptual knowledge 51.32%. For essay questions, the percentage of student scores in each level is as follows: C1 40.24%, C2 53.25%, C3 58.88%, C4 51.08%, and C5 30.43%, as well as factual knowledge 52.73% and conceptual knowledge 48.19%.

Abstract

Digital literacy is the knowledge and skills to perceive and understand information through digital media. The information received can be used and utilized in an intelligent, careful, healthy, wise and law-abiding manner. Students need these digital literacy skills to master various subjects, especially Indonesian language courses such as listening, speaking, reading and writing. Local wisdom-based digital literacy is an interesting innovation in raising today's millennial generation students. Utilization of aspects of local wisdom will create a positive impression because it can be aligned with digital literacy using technology. It also aims to increase the local value of an area in understanding literacy. Therefore, this study aims to utilize digital literacy in learning Indonesian based on local wisdom. This is useful for maintaining and preserving culture and helping students face increasing challenges. The method used in this research is classroom action research. Classroom Action Research as an improvement activity ranging from problems that arise in learning situations to learning practices of learning activities. In this study, the authors used a research model that refers to the research implementation process proposed by Hobbs which includes accessing, analyzing and evaluating, creating, reflecting and acting. The results of the study show that in the end students realize that the laptops and gadgets they use actually offer many benefits and certainly support the learning process, especially Indonesian.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the mapping of adjustment attitudes of BKPI students in tertiary institutions after the Introduction to Academic and Student Culture (PBAK) activities in terms of various dimensions of adjustment, gender and regional origin. This study uses a descriptive quantitative research method with a survey research design. The subjects of this study were BKPI students batch 2019 at IAIN Salatiga, totaling 89 students. Extracting data using questionnaires, observations, interviews and documentation then the results of the questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive percentage tables. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The implementation of PBAK 2019 can be accepted by students which correlates with the adjustment attitude of BKPI IAIN Salatiga students with a good percentage rate of 85.39% or 76 respondents and only 1.12% or 1 respondent who shows a very low level of adjustment. 2) The attitude of adjustment of BKPI IAIN Salatiga students after the 2019 PBAK activities can be mapped in various dimensions, the attitude of academic adjustment is at the good category level with a percentage of 73.03%. In the attitude of social adjustment (social adjustment) is at the good category level with a percentage of 71.91%. In the attitude of personal-emotional adjustment (personal-emotional adjustment) is at the good category level with a percentage of 62.92%. Meanwhile, the attitude of institutional adjustment is at a good category level with a percentage of 69.66%. 3) There is a similarity in the adjustment attitude of Islamic Education Guidance and Counseling students at IAIN Salatiga Post PBAK 2019 in terms of male and female gender. 4) Self-adjustment of Islamic Education Guidance and Counseling students at IAIN Salatiga Post PBAK 2019 seen in terms of regional origin (local and immigrants) explains that local students are better in terms of adjustment compared to immigrant students in various dimensions of academic, social, personal adjustment emotional and institutional.

Abstract

Emotional intelligence is a child’s ability to recognize, process, and control emotions so that children are able to respond positivelyto any condition that stimulates the emergence of emotions such as self-awareness, silf-regulation, motivation, recognizing other people’s emotions or empathy, and social skills. The purpose of this study was to determine emotiona intelligence in children aged 5-6 years at Al-Jami’atul Washliyah kindergarden Sungai Majo, Kubu Babussalam Dictrict, Rokan Hilir Regency. The type of research used is quantitativ descriptiv recearch. The data analysis technique used in this study is using statistical data. The results showed that emotiona intelligence in children aged 5-6 years at Al-Jami’atul Washliyah kindergarden Sungai Majo, Kubu Babussalam Dictrict, Rokan Hilir Regency was included in the good category, with a parcentage of 76,88%. This means that self-awareness, silf-regulation, motivation, recognizing other people’s emotions or empathy, and social skills in children are well developed.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between digital parenting and the intensity of using gadgets in children aged 5-6 years in Sidomulyo Timur Village, Pekanbaru City. The type of research used is correlation research. The population and research sample are 88 parents. The steps taken in this comparative research are: identifying potentials and problems, gathering information, determining data collection methods, data collection, data analysis, and concluding data. Data collection techniques in this study are by means of questionnaires and documents. The data analysis technique used for this research is the chi square method. Based on calculations from several tests conducted, it provides scientific evidence that there is a relationship between digital parenting and the intensity of using gadgets in children aged 5-6 years in Sidomulyo Timur Village, Pekanbaru City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine "The Effect of the Beyond Center And Circles Time (BCCT) Method on the Social Abilities of Children Aged 5-6 Years at TK PGRI Bandarjaya. The problem that researchers encountered in this study is Is There an Effect of the Beyond Center And Circles Time (BCCT) Method on the Social Abilities of Children Aged 5-6 Years in Kindergarten PGRI Bandarjaya. researchers used the Pre-Experimental method using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data collection techniques for this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The population is 47 children and a sample of 25 children in group B class. Based on the calculations which were carried out from the results of the posttest normality of the data, the homogeneity of variance can be shown from the results of the hypothesis calculations. In addition, the next step is to test the hypothesis after which it is ensured that the homogeneity of the data is normal and the variance in the study is homogeneous and the data is normally distributed. The research hypothesis states that there is a significant effect of the use of the Beyond Center And Circles Time (BBCT) method on the social abilities of children aged 5 to 6 years at TK PGRI Bandarjaya. From the results of the t-test calculation above it is known that the value of tcount>ttable or 33.717>2.064 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted

Abstract

This study aims to describe the changes in learning experienced by teachers and students. In this study focused on qualitative research. The method used here is descriptive method in conducting the analysis. The data collection techniques here are through interviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique here uses a qualitative descriptive analysis technique which is presented in the form of splitting or parsing data that will produce appropriate data. From the results of the study, it was shown that learning changes were caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, precisely in Grade 6 students at SD Negeri 04 Palembang, which still had many shortcomings caused by the pandemic, which made students difficult to accept learning, lack of focus or feel confused and difficult to understand. material and do not pay attention to the teacher when learning takes place. There is a sensitive attitude shown by these students during learning. The changes faced due to the Covid-19 Virus certainly have a lot of negative impacts on the learning process this year, especially students. From the overall results obtained in this study it can be seen that the impact of this pandemic also occurred due to internal factors and external factors, which internal factors themselves occurred in the children themselves who might lack interest in learning, as well as for external factors such as the environment. Families who do not provide enough support for their children. From the above results the learning process experienced after this pandemic has greatly decreased, based on what is produced from research here teachers and students must be good at communicating so that learning can run smoothly, and teachers must be able to provide material well.

Abstract

Abstract This research activity aims to determine public relations management at SMA Negeri 1 Manyaran. This research utilizes a qualitative-descriptive based approach. The method used by the author is the phenomenological method whose goal is to find out the phenomena that exist in the community. Data analysis was carried out through several stages, including the first stage of data reduction, the second stage of data presentation, and the third stage of drawing conclusions. The results of the discussion related to public relations management at SMA Negeri 1 Manyaran include the following management that is applied, namely school-based management; there are various innovations made by school principals, teachers, staff, as well as education staff; the existence of education that is oriented towards character education, achievement, increasing aspects of religiosity, developing talents and interests, providing skills training, and post-graduation job distribution for students; the existence of good communication patterns, conducting deliberations in solving problems, accommodating aspirations for school progress, obedience to government policies; appropriate management strategy and implementation in analyzing needs, exploring school potential, and combining all the different elements so that they are synergized and integrated; there is cooperation with the community, institutions/agencies, companies, and school external parties to welcome school programs; and there are efforts to increase the competence of teachers and students in SMA Negeri 1 Manyaran.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the number of boards of directors on company performance, analyze the effect of board gender diversity on company performance, analyze the effect of board nationality on company performance, and analyze the effect of the number of boards of directors, board gender diversity, and board nationality together on company performance. The samples in this study are six banks whose shares are mostly owned by foreigners. The data in this study were obtained from the annual reports of the sample banks for the period 2016-2022. Data analysis in this study used classical assumption tests and panel regression. The results of data analysis show that the number of boards of directors has a significant positive effect on company performance, gender diversity of the board of directors has a significant negative effect on company performance, nationality of the board of directors has no significant effect on company performance, the number of boards of directors, gender diversity of the board of directors, and nationality of the board of directors together have a significant effect on company performance. The findings of this study have implications for academics and investors.
