Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of: (1) knowing the role of the madrasah head in improving teacher performance at Guppi Gunung Jati Madrasah Aliyah; (2) knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors of the role of the madrasa head in improving teacher performance at the Guppi Gunung Jati Madrasah Aliyah.This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Methods of data collection through observation, interviews and documentation in an effort to find out the role of the madrasa head in improving teacher performance at Guppi Gunung Jati Madrasah Aliyah.The results of this study indicate that the madrasa head has carried out his role in improving teacher performance as: (1) the madrasa head as a leader, motivator, educator and supervisor. (2) Factors supporting the madrasah head in improving teacher performance, namely (a) the quality of teachers who wish to develop their abilities, (b) the establishment of good communication, (c) the collaboration between educators and the head of the madrasa. The inhibiting factors for the role of the madrasa head in improving teacher performance are: (a) there is still a lack of civil servant education staff, (2) teachers are less able to divide their time between homework and school work, (c) innate abilities. The conclusion of this study is that the role of the head of the madrasah in improving teacher performance in Madrasah Aliyah Guppi Guning Jati has been carried out well through the program made by the madrasah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of applying the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition model to student learning outcomes in the thematic learning of class V at SD Negeri 39 Pontianak Kota. The research method used was an experimental design with a pre-experimental design and a non-equivalent control group design. The population of all fifth-grade students totaled 56 students. The research sample was VA class students as an experimental class totaling 28 students and VB class as a control class totaling 28 students. The data collection technique was a measurement technique, and the data collection tool was a written test using multiple choice. Data analysis obtained the average post-test results for the experimental class (71.285) and the average post-test for the control class (64.5). The results of the hypothesis test using the t-test (Polled Variance) obtained t-count = (2.07) while for dk (28+28-2=54) with α = 5% received t-table = (1.874), which means t-count> t-table, then Ha is accepted, this proves that there is an effect of applying the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition model in thematic learning. Based on the effect size (ES) calculation results, ES = 0.557, included in the medium criteria. Thus, it concluded that applying the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition model in thematic learning positively influences the learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri 39 Pontianak Kota.

Abstract

As a conscious and planned effort, education is an effort to develop the potential of students to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, character, and skills needed by themselves, society, nation and state. To realize efforts to achieve educational goals, educational institutions need a measurable and planned regulatory pattern. So educational institutions need good institutional management. In education management must focus on the object of study, so that human resources, funding, materials, methods, markets and time can be managed properly. Likewise, the field of work on education management must be given serious attention so that students, curriculum, personnel, education financing, and community relations can be properly managed through quality management of educational institutions.

Abstract

Abstract Study discipline is very important to apply in everyday life, but it is also often a problem for students at school. Various violations regarding study discipline such as not being disciplined in time and not obeying school rules very often occur among school students. Based on direct observation at SMP Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi, the results show that the level of discipline in class VIII students shows low results. That is, there is a lot of indiscipline committed by class VIII students. Using a modification of the Token Economy Technique in group counseling services can increase the level of student discipline. The purpose of this research is to improve student learning discipline at school through group counseling services with a modification of the Token Economy Technique at SMP Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi. The sampling criterion was purposive sampling with a total of 10 class VIII students. This research was conducted in 3 cycles with each cycle consisting of 2 actions. This study consists of four competencies for each cycle, namely planning, implementing, evaluating, and reflecting. The results showed that there was an increase in student discipline behavior in each cycle. In cycle I the researchers conducted group counseling where the average percentage gain was 23% which was in the "low" category. In cycle II the researcher held group counseling which consisted of two meetings. The results in cycle II showed a percentage of 53% which was categorized as "moderate". In cycle III the researchers conducted group counseling where a percentage was obtained with an average of 82% which was categorized as being in the "High" category.

Abstract

The research study aimed to determine the errors that eleventh-grade students of SMA N 2 Muaro Jambi made in arranging the structure of noun phrases and the dominant errors that students made in arranging the structure of noun phrases. The method used in this research is descriptive. The population is the eleventh-grade students of SMA N 2 Muaro Jambi. The sample taken through the cluster random sampling technique was class XI IPA 1. This research used a test as the instrument to collect the data. The test showed that the students made more errors in arranging the structure of noun phrases were additions. The percentage of errors was 45,18%.On the contrary, the lowest errors that the students made in arranging the structure of noun phrases were misorderings, and the percentage was only 10,37%. From the result of this research, it can be concluded that the students were confused about arranging the structure of noun phrases especially related to addiction. It was caused by the lack of knowledge about common noun functioning as modifiers to modify the Noun in noun phrases.

Abstract

Students as the most important component in the educational process, should get good service and education system in order to increase their potential to produce learning achievement. One of the factors that affect learning achievement is environmental factors. This research aims to provide knowledge regarding the efforts that schools can do to improve learning achievement. The method in this research is literature study with descriptive method. Schools as places where the learning process takes place, can apply several efforts to improve student learning achievement through planning and implementing student management, school/madrasah management, good classroom management, creating innovative strategies from school principals, and improving the quality of educators and education staff in schools. These efforts are expected to be planned, socialized and implemented properly in schools in order to get better student learning achievement. Another thing that needs to be considered and must be done is evaluation activities in the school environment, through internal school meetings which can then be continued with the implementation of evaluation monitoring meetings.

Abstract

Child is a picture of the future for the family, both and bad character of the child in the future is a reflection of the education received in childhood in the family. Therefore, parents strive to provide good education, nurturing and balanced nutrition for their growth and development. All of that can be done by applying the best method to children in their golden age. One parenting method that parents can use is hypnoparenting. Hypnoparenting is educating children by giving positive suggestions in order to form a good personality and morals. The purpose of this writing is to explain the concept of hypnoparenting to help parents in parenting at an early age. Methods used in this research is a literature review with data sources obtained from scientific journals and research reports related to the problem.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the need for website-based digital teaching materials in Natural Sciences subjects at SMP Negeri 2 Lembang in Pinrang Regency. This type of research is quantitative using a descriptive approach, The location of the research was conducted in the village of Pajalele, Kec. Lembang, Chief. Pinrang with research subjects is class VIII B with 22 students and class VIII Natural Sciences teachers. The research instrument used in collecting the required data using the quantifier, about the test. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, quantifier, test and documentation. The results of this study show that the problem experienced by students is the lack of learning resources in the form of textbooks that do not match the number of students, school facilities in the form of internet access and tablets that are not properly utilized, The data on student learning needs analysis was obtained from average student presentation data that answered Yes and agreed to use website-based digital teaching materials and which were more variable by 78.57%, In addition to analysis of student learning needs, analysis of student learning characteristics was also conducted. Data showed that students were interested in using teaching materials that were more innovative, interesting and usable at any time and place.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model on class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa. This type of research is experimental research with the pre-experimental method, the design of this study is the one pretest posttest group, namely a type of research that only involves 1 class as a experimental class carried out without a comparison group. The sample in this study was class VIII students totaling 28 students. Based on the results of research and data analysis regarding this statistical comparison, comparisons with categories of learning outcomes and comparisons of completeness levels prove an increase in student learning outcomes in class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa can be seen from student learning outcomes through descriptive statistical analysis before using the Problem Based Learning learning model on average the average student score is still below the KKM, which is 54.6 and after using the Problem Based Learning learning model, the average student score increases above the KKM 76.3. It is known that the Posttest value is 76.3 more than the Prest value which is 54.6. Furthermore, based on the results of inferential statistical analysis using the t-test formula, it is known that the tcount obtained is 3.367 with a frequency df = 28-1 = 27, at a significant level of 0.05 or 5%, the ttable is 1.701. So tcount> ttable or HO is assessed and H1 is accepted. Based on these results it can be concluded that there is a significant increase in student learning outcomes. This means that the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model has an effect on the ability to write exposition texts in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 2 Sungguminasa.

Abstract

The results of this study were based on or motivated by the technique of underhand passing in the learning of students at SMP Negeri 3 Bolangitang which were still not optimal or the application of good and correct movements, this was based on the results of observations that it turned out that there were still many students who got results below the KKM score. The output of this study is to identify and identify the effect of the Whole Part learning method on the ability to learn to pass under volleyball in students of SMP Negeri 3 Bolangitang. The research method used is classroom action research. Based on the results of the description of the percentage recapitulation of the initial data before being given action, it can be explained that the majority of students have not shown good learning outcomes, with a learning completeness percentage of 0% of students. As for the percentage in the Low category of 73.33% and 26.67% for the Enough category. For classical value acquisition in the initial observation. Based on the data in table 4, the following results were obtained: on the results of the initial observation assessment on the underhand serve in volleyball games, in the range of values 30-49 in the low category obtained an average score of 44.48 with a total of 11 students with a percentage of 73.33 % and in the range of values 50-69 in the Enough category, the average score is 53.57 with 4 students with a percentage of 26.67%. As for the overall value of the initial observation on the under serve in the volleyball game, a score of 46.90 is in the Low category. in the entire cycle I on the under serve in the volleyball game, in the range of 50-69 in the Fair category, the average score was 65.18 with 8 students with a percentage of 53.33% and in the range of 70-84 in the High category, the average value of 73.98 with a total of 7 students with a percentage of 46.67%. As for the overall value of the first cycle in the underhand serve in the volleyball game, a score of 69.29 was in the Enough category. in the entire cycle II on the under serve in the volleyball game, in the range of 70-84 the high category obtained an average score of 77.50 with a total of 10 students with a percentage of 66.67% and in the range of values 85-100 with the Very High category obtained an average score of 85.71 with a total of 5 students with a percentage of 33.33%. Whereas for the overall value of cycle II on the bottom serve in volleyball games, a score of 80.24 is in the High category.
