Abstract

Leadership plays an important role in influencing, encouraging, inviting, guiding, moving, directing people or groups to voluntarily do something towards achieving a certain goal that has been set. Likewise, the principal as a leader in the education unit plays a role in optimizing the leadership functions in schools. This study examines the role of school/madrasah principals in optimizing the use of instructional media, as well as the relationship between media use and student learning motivation. This research determines the object of research at Madrasah Aliyah As'adiyah Number 1 Atapage Wajo, South Sulawesi. To examine these problems, this research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The data collection procedure was carried out through library research, in the form of citing books related to research, either through direct or indirect quotations. In addition, field research was carried out, by collecting data in the form of observations, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. Qualitative data were analyzed by deductive, inductive and comparative methods while quantitative data were analyzed using statistical analysis methods. The results showed that the madrasa head played a very important role in efforts to optimize the use of learning media, and the use of learning media showed a positive effect on student learning motivation, shown among other things that students were more serious about learning, concentrated, and learning was more interesting and real.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity that is validated by the media validator, material validator, and test instrument validator, find out practicality by teacher education practitioners and students, and find out the effectiveness as seen from the results of the pre-test post-test scores on display board learning media based on discovery learning on theme 6, sub-theme 2 class V at SD Negeri 040452 Kabanjahe, the number of which is 25 people. This research is research and development which leads to the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Based on the results of the research, the display board media developed showed results, including: (1) The results of the validity by each validator obtained the final results of media validation with a percentage score of 92% (Very Eligible), material validation with a percentage score of 90.66% (Very Eligible). Feasible), test instrument validation with a percentage score of 94% (Very Feasible). (2) The results of practicality by teacher education practitioners obtained results with a percentage score of 96% (Very Practical), the results of the overall response of students obtained results of 82.4% (Very Practical). (3) The results of the effectiveness through the pre-test post-test obtained the final score with a percentage of 88% (Very Effective). After obtaining the overall results of research and development, the researcher drew the conclusion that discovery learning-based display board learning media is valid, practical, and effective in the teaching process in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of media bulletin board on thematic learning in the fourth grade of elementary school to increase the students ' creativity. This study uses the type of Class Action Research (PTK). The targets in this study were 11 elementary school students. The technique of data collection in this study is taken from the record of student's kekatif, evaluation test results, and interviews of teachers and students. The results showed that the application of media bulletin board on thematic learning can increase the activeness of students in learning. This can be seen from the results of the student activity table and evaluation in the second cycle which reached a very high category. In addition, the students ' creativity can also be seen from the enthusiasm of the students at the time of study. With the results obtained in the second cycle, it can be stated that the application of media bulletin board on thematic learning can increase the activity of students in learning.

Abstract

Harau Valley is located in Harau District, Fifty Cities District, West Sumatra. This area has quite a variety of natural beauty, such as waterfalls and forests. Promotional efforts for the Harau Valley tourism have been carried out but have not been effective. For this reason, development is needed by designing a promotional media video in the form of audio and visual tourist objects. This design uses the 4D method which consists of Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. With the result of being a promotional video as the main media in the form of cinematic videos, of course the public will know visually about various tourist attractions in the Harau Valley, so that the wider community feels interested in visiting and generates curiosity because it displays a different atmosphere in the video and the visuals displayed are expected will make the public or audience amazed at the tourist attractions in the Harau Valley

Abstract

This research concludes that the management and measurement of emotional intelligence (EQ) of Azhari Islamic School Kindergarten educators experience many obstacles in carrying out online (online) learning through smartphone applications during lockdown, such as: teaching loss, stress-inducing boredom, limited skills in using gadgets and learning applications, internet network disturbances and funds, and lack of understanding of the character and characteristics of students. This is motivated by problematic emotional problems that arise as a result of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia which affects all aspects of life including the education process in PAUD. This research shows that there is a process of managing and measuring emotional intelligence (EQ) of Azhari Islamic School Jakarta Kindergarten educators based on Daniel Goleman's emotional intelligence theory. The process of managing the EQ of educators at the Azhari Islamic School Jakarta Kindergarten through intensive training and self-development programs from foundations and independently. The results of measuring the emotional intelligence of educators at Azhari Islamic School Jakarta Kindergarten show that overall the five aspects of Goleman's emotional intelligence (self-awareness, self-regulation/emotional management, motivation, empathy and social skills) have high and good emotional intelligence with an average percentage of 80.4% . Aspects of the ability to manage emotions produce the highest score of 94.79%. And on the results of measuring the aspect of fostering external relations which has a percentage of 72.42% (enough category)

Abstract

PT. Telkom Indonesia in an effort to transform into a digital telecommunication company, TelkomGroup implements a customer-oriented company business and operational strategy. One of them is by creating a Website Experience Center to display the interplay made in the Infrastructure Service & Research IRA Unit. In making it the author uses the Extreme Programming Method which is considered appropriate because it is an adaptive and flexible method in its stages. The results obtained after analysis and design, as well as implementation of the Website Experience Center, Website Experience can be made as expected even though there are several obstacles in its manufacture. Where it is necessary to use adequate devices in its manufacture in order to produce maximum results as well

Abstract

This study has two objectives, namely: 1) to describe the form of directive speech acts in novel broken kite by Mommy; 2) to describe the function of directive speech acts in the novel broken kite by Mommy ASF. This type of research is qualitative research. Qualitative research is research with a study method or research method on a problem. The data source for this research uses primary and secondary data. The primary data source in this study is the novel broken kite by Mommy ASF and the secondary data source in this study is in the form of reference book articles related to research problems. data collection used in research is the basic techniques of listening, recapitulation, data transcription, and note-taking techniques. The results of the study found 7 directive speech acts in the novel broken kite by Mommy ASF a: asking, inviting, advising, ordering, begging, forbidding, suggesting, and giving permission. The functions of directive speech acts in the novel broken kite by Mommy ASF are: asking, inviting, advising, ordering, begging, suggesting, giving permission.

Abstract

It still has to be enhanced since students' critical thinking abilities on the subject matter of rotational dynamics and equilibrium of rigid bodies are still an issue. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the impact of the probing prompting learning model on students' capacity for critical thought with regard to the rotational dynamics and equilibrium of rigid bodies content. A total of 90 children from one of schools made up the sample for this study, which was performed there for four weeks in January 2023. The study approach employed was a quasi-experiment with a design for the control group that was not comparable. The Mann Whitney U examine was used to examine the validity of the hypothesis, and the findings revealed that Ho was rejected. The critical thinking abilities of students who study using the probing prompting model are significantly different from those of students who learn using traditional learning. In the experimental class, students' critical thinking scores increased more than those of the control class students. More than 80% of students expressed interest in using the probing prompting learning methodology. This study demonstrates how the probing prompting learning paradigm significantly enhances students' capacity for critical thought

Abstract

Conceptual understanding is a crucial skill in learning mathematics, especially in the context of concepts relevant to students' everyday lives, such as Social Arithmetic. However, students often face difficulties in gaining a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. This study aims to test the implementation of the Quizlet application in mathematics learning to enhance students' conceptual understanding. The Design Research method is employed in this study, involving stages such as preliminary design, design experimentation, and retrospective analysis to design an effective learning path. The results of the study indicate a significant positive influence of using the Quizlet application on students' conceptual understanding of mathematics. This research suggests that the application has the potential to serve as an effective tool to facilitate enjoyable and easy mathematics learning for students.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the application of Independet Curriculum as an effort to overcome the Learning Loss in Islamic Education subject at SMAN 12 Bandar Lampung. This research was conducted to provide good information to educational units, students as well as parents and even education stakeholders regarding a clear description of the characteristics offered by the independent curriculum which has comparisons with K-13 so as to provide solutions for the world of education to overcome the learning crisis that occurs at the moment. This study uses research methods with the type of field research (field research) and the nature of descriptive qualitative research. The data collection method is through observation, interviews, and documentation. Primary data is obtained through interviews and observation while secondary data is obtained through documentation.
