Mathematics is a subject that many students do not like, it is found that students' learning motivation is low, because most vocational students are oriented towards work readiness only. Motivation is the encouragement of individuals or other people to do something. In addition, an important aspect of learning mathematics is the understanding of mathematical concepts within students. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there is an influence between learning motivation and the ability to understand mathematical concepts of SMK students. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with survey research methods. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and tests. The population of this study were all students of class XI SMK PGRI 2 Karawang, the sample used was 22 students. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression with the help of SPSS 25.0. Based on the calculations, the research results are indicated by the regression equation Y = 29.015 + 0.775 X indicating that if the motivation value is equal to (0) zero, the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts will decrease. The value of the coefficient X is 0.775, meaning that learning motivation has a positive effect on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts. the R2 value of 0.393 means that learning motivation has an effect on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts by 39.3% while the rest is influenced by variables or other factors.

The rapid development of the times and the progress of science requires education to create the nation's children who are able to think critically, creatively and innovatively. One branch of education that plays a role in advancing students' critical thinking skills is mathematics. However, students often feel anxious and insecure when facing mathematical difficulties because their critical thinking skills are not trained. To deal with the anxiety that exists in students, a mathematical resilience trait is needed. Therefore, this research is to show the relationship between mathematical resilience and students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. The research method in this study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type. The subjects of this study were class VIII students of junior high school, with the measuring tools used, namely essay tests and questionnaires, and analyzed with the help of SPSS 25 software. Based on the research results, the correlation coefficient value was 0.596, so that Ha was accepted. This means that there is a significant relationship between mathematical resilience on students' mathematical critical thinking ability.

The problem in this research is poverty which continues to increase due to the low quality of human resources especially women. The purpose of this research was to describe the process of empowering women through training in hairstyling at SKB Banjarnegara. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. There were six research subjects, namely the head of the SKB, program coordinator, training instructor and three trainees. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data using source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, reduction, data display, conclusions. The results of the study explain that the training process is divided into three stages, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Planning is determined by setting training objectives. Infrastructure facilities are adjusted to the regional budget 2 of Banjarnegara. Recruitment of competent training instructors and recruitment of 10 trainees. Implementation of training for 60 hours as many as 20 meetings. The basic training material is adjusted to the conditions of the participants. Communication occurs in two directions well but it needs to improve a conducive learning atmoshphere. The training media is in the form of modules and salon equipment. The training method is in the form of lectures, practice, questions and answer and discussion. Constructive motivation is carried out by the instructor to the participants. The evaluation stage through pre test and post test was carried out before and after the written training. Process evaluation is carried out during the training activities. Program evaluation is carried out at the end of the activity to improve the implementation of the training in the following year. Follow up by channeling participants who are interested in apprenticing at the training instructor’s salon.

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics students in class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 5 Semarang Semester 1 of the 2022/2023 academic year by applying a problem-based learning model on geometric transformation material. This research is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consists of one meeting. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPA 1, with a total of 36 students. Data acquisition techniques with testing techniques. The data analysis method uses descriptive comparison between Cycle I and Cycle II in the form of a percentage of math learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study, learning by using problem-based learning models can improve student learning outcomes on geometric transformation material in mathematics subjects. The results of the implementation of cycle I showed that only 25 students or 69% were declared complete. There was an increase in cycle II, with 29 students (81%) declared complete in learning math. Since the KKM for this research is 75, then this research is considered successful.

Recently, there has been a stigma that children who grow up from single parents are naughty, controlled and carry other negative meanings. Parenting style is very influential in the formation of children's character, one of which is in the formation of independent behavior in children. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of behavioral independence in children and differences in the influence of single parenting styles on behavioral independence in children. Meanwhile, the intended behavior independence is changes in decision-making, changes in susceptibility to the influence, and changes in feeling of self-relience. This type of research is a comparative quantitative research with a total sample of 70 respondents obtained from sampling using purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire and the data analysis technique used was the one way ANOVA test and the independent t-test. Based on the research, it was found that democratic parenting was more dominantly applied in child rearing with an average level of 73.98%, while the average level of behavior independence in adolescents was 63.64% and included in the medium category. Based on the one way ANOVA test conducted, the asomtatic asignificance value was 0.08 <0.05 so that it can be interpreted that there is a difference in independence in adolescents when viewed from single parent parenting in Telanaipura District. Furthermore, from the results of the independent t-test, it was found that children with democratic parenting styles had the highest level of independence in behavior when compared to other parenting styles.

Abstract Further studies are continuing schools of higher education a connection after graduating from a current higher education or school. Many factors cause students to decide not to continue their studies, namely external and internal factors. This study aims to reveal the effect of advanced study information services on students' interest in entering college in class XII at SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. The population in this study of class XII at SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. This sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique 30 students of class XII at SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi This type of research is quantitative with a pre-experimental approach. The results of this study indicate that in general the interest in entering college of class XII students before being given treatment is at a moderate level with a percentage of 55.41%, which means that the interest of these students needs to be increased. And also in general the interest in entering college of class XII students after being given treatment is at a high level with a percentage of 72.59%, which means there is an increase in students' interest in going to college. The results also show that based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is known that the significance value is 0.000 <0.05 and the value of Tcount > Ttable or 6.128 > 2.042. It can be concluded that information services for advanced studies have an effect on increasing interest in entering college for class XII students at SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi.

The existence of guidance and counseling in schools remains to be met as is expected, for in the school community there are those who are not familiar with the real duties of guidance teachers and counseling. The results of an interview with some guidance counselors, they found that some of the bk services were somehow affected by their performance. The implementation of the program at the school has not reached its intended target because of several obstacles such as education, experience, health conditions, bk teacher competency, tools and infrastructure, regulatory terms, and lack of student participation. The quality of a full-river high school guidance and counseling program, which reveals the quality of the internal factor to which the guidance and counseling programs are conducted at a full-river high school. , and express the quality of external factors to the guidance and counseling program at a full-river high school. The study has been limited to full-river high school guidance and counseling programs, the internal factors that the guidance and counseling teachers have in full-river high schools and the external factors that the guidance and counseling teachers have in full-river high schools.

Verbal communication that is carried out by parents and children is communication that always occurs and is established, especially with the mother, from the time the child is in the womb until the child is born and develops into adulthood, the child always makes contact and talks with his mother and father. From the results of observations and interviews on Monday 18 January 2021 at the Muhammadiyah Junior High School in Singkut District, there are many students who tend to socialize in groups and often have friends they don't like to hang out with, thus making researchers feel interested in taking up this research. The type taken in this study is quantitative research, namely systematic scientific research on parts and phenomena as well as the causality of relationships. This study uses a survey method. This research is ex post facto research. The number of samples in this study is 198 samples. Based on the results of the study for parents' verbal communication questionnaire data with a sample of 189 people, an average value of 123.8360 was obtained and a standard deviation of 12.58332, the highest value obtained was 150 and the lowest was 89. For social behavior questionnaire data of students with a sample of 189 people, it was obtained the average value is 129.0317 and the standard deviation is 15.59900, the highest value obtained is 155 and the lowest is 79, for the variable Family Harmony (X) of 0.847 or it can be expressed as a linear equation Y = 29.435 + 3.230 X. In the table the values for the test two parties t 0.95 = 1.612 It is easy to see that 27.8834 > 1.6612, the parental verbal communication variable influences students' social behavior. the R value is the correlation found to be 0.907 and the R square is worth 0.823 or (82.4%) this shows that the percentage of the influence of the independent variable (X) on the dependent variable (Y) is 82.3%, while 17.7% is influenced or clarified by other variables not included in this research model. The conclusion of this study is that parents' verbal communication with a percentage of 2.60% is in the high classification or can be said to be good. The social behavior of students at SMP Muhammadiyah Singkut District with a percentage of 83.25% is high or can be said to be good. Based on the results of the study that there is an influence of parental verbal communication on the social behavior of students at SMP Muhammadiyah Singkut District and the influence of variable X on variable Y by looking at the determination index of 0.823% or it can be interpreted as strong.

In the teaching and learning process there are obstacles that are difficult for students to overcome which can cause stress in learning due to the inability of students to absorb or understand learning material at school, so that it requires appropriate stress coping strategies. The phenomenon of coping with stress in schools is the emergence of maladaptive student behavior such as difficulties in doing assignments, students often leave during class hours for no apparent reason, and create a noisy atmosphere in class. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and coping with stress in learning for class VIII students of SMPN 10 Jambi City. This type of research is quantitative research with correlational research methods. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with a total of 141 students as respondents. Analysis of research data using a correlation test with a significance level of 0.05. Retrieval of data in this study using the coping stress scale and emotional intelligence scale. The subjects of this study were class VIII students of SMPN 10 Jambi City. Data collection tools used are observation, interviews and questionnaires. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires consisting of 35 items, namely 20 items of emotional intelligence and 15 items of coping with stress. The results of the reliability test on each scale are 0.750 on the coping stress scale and 0.800 on the emotional intelligence scale. The analysis technique used is pearson correlation. Pearson correlation test results obtained rxy = 0.506 with a significance level or p of 0.000. Because the p value < 0.05, the pattern of relationship between the variables of emotional intelligence and coping stress in class VIII students' learning is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between the variables of emotional intelligence and coping stress in class VIII students

The background of this research is that students spend more than 4 hours playing online mobile legends (ML) games a day. From the information obtained, students say that during certain lessons or certain teachers they will look for opportunities to play online games while the teacher is explaining the material, this is because students do not understand the material they are studying and it is very difficult for students to be able to concentrate when their minds are focused. on online games. This study aims to determine the effect of the intensity of playing online games on students' learning concentration. So that this research does not deviate from what is meant, it is limited in the intensity of playing online games seen from the length of access, psychological conditions and the purpose of playing. Meanwhile, the concentration of learning is limited from focusing attention, changing behavior, carrying out learning according to the objectives. This type of research is quantitative ex post facto. The population in this study were 50 students of class XI at Revany Indra Putra Vocational School, Jambi City, using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis tools and techniques used the normality test, linearity test and simple regression analysis through SPSS 24. The results showed that the influence of the intensity of playing online games was categorized as high with a percentage of 70.84%, while learning concentration was in the medium category with a percentage of 58.75. %, as well as the influence of the intensity of playing online games on student learning concentration obtained in this study, namely 0.101 or 10.1%. This study shows a low but definite effect between the intensity of playing online games on the concentration of students at Revany Indra Putra Vocational School, Jambi City.
