Abstract

Image media is one of the learning media tools that is seen as able to provide a learning experience that is directly related to the object being studied. In other words, one way to increase students' understanding of changes in provincial areas in Indonesia is through the use of learning media in the form of map images.This study aims to: describe the use of interactive learning media to improve social studies learning outcomes in changes in provincial areas in Indonesia, describe the level of mastery of student learning about changes in provincial areas in Indonesia by using interactive learning media in social studies class VI at SDN Pagagan 1 Pademawu District.The use of the use of interactive learning media can improve social studies learning outcomes for changes in provincial areas in Indonesia for class VI, the highest score achieved by students reaches 100 (2 people). VI at SDN Pagagan 1, Pademawu District. Of the 20 students, there were 90% or 18 students who had completed their studies and only 2 students (10%) had not completed their studies.

Abstract

This type of research is research and development. The development model in this research is the 4-D model which consists of four development stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research was designed using the 4-D model development design developed by Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel. The 4-D model consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The basis for using this model in developing learning tools is because the 4-D model is a descriptive procedural model with systematic and more detailed stages. In the defining stage, the results of the analysis of learning needs on trigonometry material that can make students more active and optimize mathematical problem solving skills are obtained. The design stage consists of formulating assessment instruments, selecting media and formats and preparing initial product designs. In the develop stage, the product design is validated, revised, and tested. The developed product can be used by other schools as the disseminate stage.

Abstract

Education is an activity that is carried out in guiding and directing someone. With education, it can also humanize humans in a better direction as it exists and we can see at this time. That the more technology develops, the less character patterns possessed by today's children. This research is a qualitative research using a descriptive approach. Based on the results and data obtained, it is concluded that student character can be influenced by the use of technology. after examining how student character is affected by the use of technology (gadgets). Some of the solutions the authors can offer include: 1) It is hoped that students will use fewer gadgets in order to increase children's self-control and prevent them from playing too much with gadgets which can later interfere with children's mental and physical health. 2) It is expected that parents can control and limit the use of gadgets by their children by controlling how long they play with these gadgets. 3) It is hoped that teachers can teach students about the dangers of excessive use of gadgets and can also show students how to use gadgets correctly, one of which is by using them as learning tools.

Abstract

implementation of Tri Dharma Human Resource Management in Higher Education, a lecturer has three main tasks, namely: (1) education and teaching; (2) research; and (3) community service. The general objective of this research is to find out and analyze the influence of Tri Dharma Higher Education HRM on Improving the Quality of PTS Lecturers. Interpretation and analysis of research results, the following general conclusions are obtained: (1). There is the influence of MSDM in the Education and Teaching Sector on improving the quality of lecturers at STIE IGI; (2). There is the influence of MSDM Research on improving the quality of lecturers at STIE IGI; (3). There is the influence of MSDM in the Community Service Sector on improving the quality of lecturers at STIE IGI; (4). There is the influence of the MSDM for Education and Teaching, the MSDM for Research and the MSDM for Community Service together to improve the quality of lecturers at STIE IGI; (5). There is the influence of MSDM in the Education and Teaching Sector on improving the quality of lecturers at STIE Wibawa Karta Raharja; (6). There is the influence of MSDM Research on improving the quality of lecturers at STIE Wibawa Karta Raharja; (7). There is the influence of MSDM Research on improving the quality of lecturers at STMIK MIC; (11). There is the influence of MSDM in the Community Service Sector on improving the quality of lecturers at STMIK MIC; (12). There is the influence of the MSDM for Education and Teaching, the MSDM for Research and the MSDM for Community Service together to improve the quality of lecturers at STMIK MIC; (13) There are supporting and inhibiting factors for the quality of lecturers at STIE IGI, STIE Wibawa Karta Raharja, STMIK MIC through the implementation of Tri Dharma Higher Education HRM. The research findings are that of the three components of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, research and publication are things that are difficult for lecturers to do, while there are demands to publish the results of their research in reputable international journals which have a significant effect on improving the quality of lecturers.

Abstract

This research is to describe the suitability of puzzle media as a learning tool on expository text material and to find out students' reactions to the use of puzzle media on expository text material. The method used is research and development (R&D), a product manufacturing research method. The questionnaire method was used as a research data collection method in this study, where research results were collected and students' responses to the media used were evaluated. Based on the research results, it is known that 87.40% of respondents stated that the puzzle environment is very useful as a learning tool. Two students gave a very strong reaction to the puzzle media in the exhibition text material as a result of the exhibition results. Distribution of questionnaires to students.

Abstract

Leadership type and style are closely related to the norms of behavior in a person while influencing affects the behavior of others. Leadership types and styles have various variants, so there is a need for a theoretical study that discusses leadership types and styles This research is a literature review of several main references. This type and style of leadership is not necessarily like that, but always develops from time to time. As a suggestion made by the next researcher is to examine the type and style of leadership with various examples of cases found in various places and conditions by comparing the theory and practice carried out.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see how far the responsibility of Christian Religious Education Teachers was in overcoming social problems of students at SMP Negeri 2 Siantar. The number of samples is 54 people. This study used a descriptive method, while the data analysis carried out in the hypothesis research was Pearson's product moment correlation with the data collection tool being a questionnaire for Variable X (Teacher Responsibilities of Christian Religious Education) and Variable Y (Overcoming student social problems). To find out the extent of Christian Religious Education Teachers' Responsibilities in Overcoming students' social problems, the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Statistical Test was used. From the test results obtained a correlation test (r) 0.452 with a determination test of 20.43% and to find out whether the correlation coefficient is significant at the real level (α) = 0.05 then a "t" test is held with the test criteria if tcount obtained from the calculation greater (>) than ttable at a significant level of 1 – 0.05 with dk = n – 2 then the hypothesis is accepted and in other cases it is rejected. From the test results obtained tcount > ttable (3.6568 > 1.67), then the hypothesis is accepted. Thus it can be stated that there is a significant influence between the Responsibilities of Christian Religious Education Teachers in Overcoming students' social problems at SMP Negeri 2 Siantar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe speaking skills through a process approach for class X students of SMA Negeri 16 Bone. The type of research used is classroom action research. While the approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. The research subjects were class X students of SMA Negeri 16 Bone, totaling 36 students consisting of 16 boys and 20 girls. The research focus of class X students on speaking skills with a process approach. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the value of the speaking skills of class X students of SMA Negeri 16 Bone with the process approach increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2. This research proved that the use of the process approach in teaching speaking could improve the speaking skills of students of class X SMA Negeri 16 Bone.

Abstract

This study is aimed at knowing the effect a variety of teacher teaching styles can have on students' learning motivation in SD Negeri 158367 Laemonong 2 in the district Manduamas, Tapanuli Tengah. As for this type of research, it is a quantitative study with an ex-post facto method (research that examines a particular of situation). The population of this study is the total of student at the SD Negeri 158367 Laemonong 2, which is 107 students, with the sample taken with 40 students. The data collection in the study uses a questionnaire of variety of teaching styles and student learning motivation. The questionnaire consisting of 4 likert-scale answers, and analysis requirements test in the study with a normality test, linear homogeneity and regression test. And data analysis in this study uses descriptive analysis, hypothetical tests, significance tests and determinations. Regression analysis shows a simple linear regression equation on the research which is y = 25.718 + 0.514x which suggests that each additional one unit of elimination of the variety of teaching style will be followed by an increase of 0.514 on the student's learning motivation level. In addition, r square measures 0.1874 or 18.74%. Based on data analysis it shows that there is a positive and siginiffish between the variety of teaching styles and student learning motivation at SDN 158367 Laemonong 2. By showing rxy of 0.433 classified into group moderate with t-count (2.965) > t-table (1.685). And in the variations in teacher teaching styles falls into the moderate category with an average score of 71,625 and deviation standard of 3.691. And student learning motivation falls into the moderate category with an average score of 62.550 anda standard deviation of 4.379.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning model using PowerPoint media to increase motivation to learn Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) for fourth grade students of SD Sidorejo Lor 01 Elementary School, Salatiga City. The variables in this study are the independent and dependent variables. This research is a quantitative study using the True-Experimental method with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The subjects of this study were students of class IVa and class IVb of Sidorejo Lor 01 Public Elementary School, Salatiga City. The data collection technique was in the form of distributing questionnaires to students in grades IVa and IVb of elementary schools. The hypothesis testing data analysis technique was carried out to find out whether there was or was not the influence of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Learning Model (X1), using Powerpoint Media (X2) to partially increase learning motivation (Y). The data used hypothesis t test is used to determine the significance of the effect of the independent variable partially or on the dependent variable Based on the results of the t test it is known that sig 0.195 < 0.2759 then Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected or sig 0.180 > 0.05 then it has no effect on Variable X1 (STAD model) uses X2 (Media PowerPoint), on Y (Learning Motivation) Science Science Elementary School Students Sidorejo Lor 01 Salatiga.So it can be concluded that there is no effect of the student teams achievement division (STAD) model using powerpoint media on increasing motivation learn science science for fourth graders of Sidorejo Lor 01 Public Elementary School, Salatiga City.
