Abstract

This research is quantitative research with an ex post facto design. The research location was at SMA Negeri 15 Bone with a sample of eye teachers who taught class XI IPS (social sciences) and class XI IPS students. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation and questionnaires, followed by data analysis using validity tests, reliability tests and hypothesis tests using simple linear regression equations and t tests. The results of the research using a questionnaire, validity test on variable For variable Y, the lowest value is 0.000>0.05 and the highest value is 0.046. The variable reliability test (X) alpha value is 0.814, meaning it is very reliable. Meanwhile, in the variable reliability test (Y). The alpha value is 0.570 with quite reliable results. In the hypothesis test, the consistency value is 97.694, it can be concluded as a constant number based on the results of the output value, the significant value is 0.011, more than the probability value of 0.05, so the result obtained is that H1 is accepted. In the t test, it is 1782. So it can be concluded that the calculated t value is more than t table or (2.992 > 1.782. There is a significant influence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of the Implementation of the Flipped Learning Model on the Learning Outcomes of Class X Students of SMK Veteran RI Watampone. The type of research used is the Quantitative Research Method. The data processed are learning outcomes in the form of Pre-tests and Post-tests that have been given to class X students of SMK Veteran RI Watampone. The data collection method used in this study is a Test. Then the data is processed using an Instrument Test in the form of a Question Difficulty Level Test, and a Question Discriminating Power Test. To answer the Research Hypothesis, Descriptive Statistical Tests and Inferential Statistical Tests were carried out using the t-test. Based on the results of the study and the data obtained by the researcher, it can be concluded that the Flipped Learning Model has a positive effect on history’s learning outcomes of class X students of SMK Veteran RI Watampone. The success of the study can be proven by looking at the results of the hypothesis test obtained, namely it is concluded that tcount> table or> 2.05183. So it is known that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the discussion method in reminding students of their understanding of economics subjects. The type of research used is a quantitative research method. The data obtained and processed were the results of questionnaire answers from students in grade XI IPS SMAN 3 Bone. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, documentation and questionnaires by going directly to the research location. The results of the research obtained by the author are that the variable of the discussion method (X) is effective in improving students' understanding (Y) in the economics subject of class XI students of Social Sciences SMAN 3 Bone. This means that the hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, because the tcal value > ttable or 7.779 > 1.685 is a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05. Thus the hypothesis in this study (Ha) is accepted. The discussion method plays an important role in improving students' understanding of economics in class XI IPS SMAN 3 Bone. Abstract

This study addresses the low writing skills of students in composing written work. It aims to analyze the differences in Pretest and Posttest scores and measure the improvement in learning outcomes after applying the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Animaker-based video animation in fourth-grade narrative text lessons.This pre-experimental quantitative study involved 17 fourth-grade students at SDN Sugiharjo 02. Data collection included tests and non-test methods, analyzed using the normality test, Paired Samples T-test, and N-Gain test with SPSS 21. The Paired Samples T-test showed a significant difference (Sig. 0.000 < 0.05), with Pretest scores averaging 55.29 and Posttest scores 80.82. The N-Gain test indicated a 56% improvement, categorized as medium. In conclusion, applying the PBL model with Animaker-based animation videos significantly improves students' narrative text learning outcomes.

Abstract

Bullying is an behavior that can hurt everybody. So not all the victims can forgive the perpetrator. Forgiveness is a decrease in motivation to take revenge, make distance or avoid the perpetrator. Forgiveness has a positive impact, that contributing to helping teenagers overcome the negative psychological impacts of bullying and encouraging healthy adaptability during their growth phase. However, not all students can forgive the perpetrator. Especially in female students. This happens because female tend to find it more difficult to forgive because female use or utilize feelings more as a medium of manipulation to control themselves. For this reason, this research aims to provide an overview of Forgiveness in female students who are bullied. This type of research is descriptive research with sampling techniques using random sampling techniques involving 100 female students. aged 15 to 20 years who have bullied. The results of this research show that Forgiveness in female students is 58% in the high category and 42% in the low category.

Abstract

The monument was erected to commemorate an important event. In the archipelago there are monuments spread across many regions in Indonesia, one of which is in Bukittinggi City, namely the Tuanku Imam Bonjol monument. The main purpose of the construction of the Tuanku Imam Bonjol monument is to commemorate and commemorate the war struggle of the priests against the colonizers. This monument is a symbol of unity and pride for the Minangkabau people in particular, the existence of this monument is now not noticed by the people in Bukittinggi City, especially young people, let alone to understand the visual meaning embedded in the monument, they do not even understand the existence and events that occurred during the Padri War in the early 1800s. This research is important to be carried out as an effort to explore information and notifications regarding the value and meaning conveyed through visual semiotics. The research was carried out in Bukittinggi City with a qualitative type of research through a descriptive approach. Based on this research, it was found that the shape of the Tuanku Imam Bonjol monument consisted of the base of the monument, the posture, and the figure of Tuanku Imam Bonjol who was riding a horse with the front position of the horse's legs raised both, the semiotics in this pose depicted the fighting spirit of upholding sharia in customs and community life. The function of the Tuanku Imam Bonjol Monument is as an image of the Minangkabau community.

Abstract

This research is done to evaluate the effectiveness of the international student exchange program IISMA at the State University of Jakarta. The construction of this study is done to see if the student mobility program is done effectively in the State University of Jakarta. The method used in the research is a qualitative approach with interview and observation as its research methods. The researcher chose a qualititative approach with qualitative methods because researcher want to observe and evaluate the effectiveness of the IISMA Program at the State University of Jakarta. Furthermore, the researcher collect the information using participatory as well as direct observation and interview as data collecting procedure. The result shows that the IISMA program at the State University of Jakarta hasn’t been effectively done. The result is determined from the inability to reach the program’s goals as its effectiveness indicator. This caused by external inhibitions in which there’s certain line of conditions that were not met that hindered the program’s goals to be reached.

Abstract

This study aims to prove the Problem Based Learning model assisted by KONTUAN (Dakon Card Multiplication) to improve the numeracy skills of students in grade 3 Kayuapu Elementary School. This study used a quantitative experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. Saturated sampling technique was used, with a population of 16 grade 3 students, consisting of 7 boys and 9 girls, where the entire population was used as the research sample. The measurement of the research results was carried out through the N-Gain test, which serves to determine the extent of the improvement of students' numeracy skills after the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by KONTUAN media. The N-Gain test results show an average value of 0.6273 which is included in the moderate category, this is appropriate because it is in the range of 0.30 ≤ 0.70. This research shows that the application of Problem Based Learning model with KONTUAN media is very meaningful in improving numeracy skills on multiplication material. In addition, the results showed that the use of models and media is an interesting and effective learning strategy in improving student activeness and numeracy skills. Thus, the Problem Based Learning model assisted by KONTUAN media can be one of the recommendations for learning methods for materials related to calculation .

Abstract

This research aims to develop an augmented reality (AR) learning system which aims to introduce the Toba Batak language to children while understanding the use of Batak script in the context of kitchen furniture. The application of the Fast Corner Detection algorithm is used to improve corner detection capabilities in the resulting AR images. This research consists of several stages, including collecting Toba Batak script data, developing 3D models of kitchen furniture, and implementing the Fast Corner Detection algorithm in an AR environment. The research results show that the application of AR in learning the Toba Batak language can increase children’s interest and understanding of Batak language and culture. In addition, the use of the Fast Corner Detection algorithm provides sufficient corner detection results to ensure good visual quality in AR experiences. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of innovative educational technology to preserve regional language and culture, especially the Toba Batak language, while providing an interesting learning experience for children.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of learning motivation and Intelligence Quotient (IQ) to the Biology learning outcomes of 11th-grade students at SMAN 6 Padang. Learning motivation is an internal factor that plays a crucial role in enhancing learning effectiveness, while IQ reflects students' cognitive capacity in understanding subject matter. This research employs a descriptive correlational method with a quantitative ex-post-facto approach. The population consists of all 11th-grade science students at SMAN 6 Padang, with samples selected using the proportionate random sampling technique, comprising 25% of students from each class. Data were collected through learning motivation questionnaires, IQ test documentation, and students' Biology learning outcomes. Data analysis was conducted using simple correlation statistical techniques to examine the relationship between the research variables. The findings of this study are expected to provide insights into the extent to which learning motivation and IQ contribute to Biology learning outcomes and serve as a reference for educators in designing more effective teaching strategies to enhance students' academic achievement.This study shows that learning motivation and IQ contribute to the Biology learning outcomes of 11th-grade students at SMAN 6 Padang, with a significant simultaneous relationship (sig. F Change = 0.000; R = 0.794, high correlation). Learning motivation has a greater impact than IQ (Pearson correlation = 0.777, high correlation) as it encourages perseverance, increases study duration, and optimizes concentration. In contrast, IQ has a very low correlation with learning outcomes (Pearson correlation = 0.098) due to other influential factors such as teaching methods and emotional intelligence. Thus, learning motivation plays a more dominant role in determining academic achievement, emphasizing the need for strategies that focus on enhancing students' motivation.
