<![CDATA[ This article addressed identity reconstruction through an analysis of two of the most prominent fictional works by one of the Chinese Indonesian young writers, Audrey Yu Jia Hui. In encompassing the idea of identity rewriting, I addressed Hui’s second and third novels respectively, Mellow Yellow Drama (2014) and Mencari Sila Kelima (Searching for the Fifth Principle, 2015), through the post-structural concepts of Derrida’s deconstruction, and also in relation to cultural studies views on identity. The works were analyzed through close-reading technique. The novels were published during the Reformation (Reformasi) era, where politics had served to be a profound aspect that directed the cultural identity and social attitude of the society. In a range of aspects, from narrative structure to their deeper themes, Hui’s literary works were found to draw on a distinguishable set of strategies which enabled Hui to establish her own identity as someone who was liberated, culturally accepted and free to embrace local colors. This article also showed that Audrey Yu Jia Hui’s narratives have served as an acceptance of an individual’s multiple identities, which often depends on the problem at hand as well as the context of choices.]]>

<![CDATA[Angka kejadian hipertensi akan terus meningkat tajam dan diprediksi pada tahun 2025 sekitar 1,5 miliar orang akan hidup dengan hipertensi. Hipertensi memerlukan penanganan secara kontinu. Sebagai pengobatan non-farmakologi yaitu pisang emas (Musa acuminata) mengandung kalium tinggi dapat membantu menurunkan tekanan darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsumsi pisang emas terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada klien hipertensi ringan. Jenis penelitian adalah Quasi Experiment dengan pre-post test design without control. Teknik sampel purposive sampling dengan 10 responden. Instrumen berupa sphygmomanometer air raksa dan stetoskop pengukuran tekanan darah. Uji statistik menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh penurunan tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik dengan rata-rata 21 mmHg dan 20 mmHg secara berurutan. Nilai statistik diperoleh 0,005 sistolik dan 0,005 diastolik, karena nilai ρ < α = 0,05 berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Terdapat pengaruh konsumsi pisang emas terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada klien hipertensi ringan. Disarankan pada klien hipertensi ringan untuk mengkonsumsi pisang emas sebagai alternatif pengobatan alami dalam mengontrol tekanan darah.]]>

<![CDATA[Penanganan bipolar sangat memerlukan intensitas dukungan optimal di waktu yang tepat, namun jarak dan biaya terkadang menjadi kendala. Self-monitoring and psychoeducation in bipolar patients with a smart-phone application (SIMPLe) merupakan aplikasi berbasis smartphone dengan pendekatan psikoedukasi untuk untuk manajemen diri pada penderita bipolar disorder yang mudah dan hemat biaya. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau dan menganalisis mengenai efektifitas dan kepuasaan penggunaan aplikasi SIMPLe dalam pengobatan bipolar disorder. Artikel ini dirancang dengan menggunakan desain literature review dengan sumber literatur yang didapatkan dari database science direct, proquest dan scopus. Penggunaan aplikasi SIMPLe selama tiga bulan atau lebih terbukti efektif dalam menekan angka kekambuhan. Pengguna aplikasi merasa puas dengan konten yang berada di dalam aplikasi. Penambahan konten aplikasi seperti rencana krisis pribadi di kasus kekambuhan, menambah peristiwa stres pribadi dalam grafik suasana hati, variasi yang lebih besar dari pesan psikoedukasi dan label suasana hati interaktif menjadi harapan pengguna dalam pembaharuan aplikasi berikutnya.]]>

<![CDATA[Building a learning system using the Learning Management System is already too much but there are many problems that make people think about using it because it is difficult to maintain the system, so to build a system takes a lot of time because the basis for developing the system is monolith-based and difficult to develop if the system development team grows or change. Learning Management System needs to be implemented for easy access to learning because online learning is very important to be a good alternative. From these problems led to the idea to create a Learning Management System in which it can solve services and communicate between services to facilitate efficient development. This study aims to apply the Web Service Implementation Methodology used in building a Learning Management System for an E-Course that facilitates online learning by implementing web services. To perform inter-service solving the methodology used in making this application is the web service method which is implemented on the microservices architecture. Programming languages for differentiating services are PHP and JavaScript. For the user interface, ReactJS is used as the API data manager for each service and the database uses MySQL. This application will later be used as a medium to facilitate online learning, there are members (users) as student actors and admins to manage mentor and course data that will be displayed.]]>

<![CDATA[At present, the rapid advancement of sciens and information technology has made two-dimensional image files highly demanded. In this era, sending files, whether in text or image format, has become a common practice. Sending large image files requires more time and bandwidth. To address this, compression is necessary for image files. The FELICS method is one of the techniques that can be used for image file compression. FELICS present a simpler system for image compression, operates faster, and only inscurs minimal compression efficiency loss. Based on test results for five .png files with sizes of 5.249.494 bytes reduced to 2.041.208 bytes, 3.124.201 bytes reduced to 1.060.781 bytes, 10.473.459 bytes reduced to 3.065.010 bytes, 804.728 bytes reduced to 200.215 bytes, and 503.111 bytes reduced to 158.711 bytes. This results in compression retions ranging from 24.87% to 38.00%.]]>

<![CDATA[The article aims to explore intersectionality and its societal impact on the characters as portrayed in Elif Shafak’s 10 Minutes 38 Seconds In This Strange World (2019). This issue was extensively discussed to comprehend the representation of gender inequality and patriarchy in the story. Although the text has been the subject of discussion among a limited number of scholars, the novelty of this study lies in its adoption of a theoretical perspective that has not been utilized previously, specifically Kimberly Crenshaw’s framework of intersectionality. Methodologically, this qualitative study identified and collected the primary data from the text by selecting direct and indirect quotations relevant to the issue discussed. This approach was complemented by secondary sources from previous and related studies which were drawn from books and journal articles. Having analyzed the text by applying Crenshaw’s theory of intersectionality, the authors found that Shafak represented gender inequality and patriarchy in Turkey as a hegemonic and systematic belief. The text also discovered that the perpetuation of the patriarchal system, rooted in the practices frequently justified by religious rhetoric, is effectively prolonged by the continued male dominance in shaping public policies. It also indicates that the main character, Tequila Leila, and the other characters in the story possess overlapping identities, leading to numerous unfortunate experiences. Tequila Leila’s oppressed experiences unveiled the structural and representational intersectionalities.]]>

Data transfer or data communication is the exchange of data between two or more devices through a transmission medium such as cable or wireless. Data communication can also be defined as a process of sending and receiving data electronically from two or more devices connected to a network via a medium. This study aims to be able to compare the smartphones tested in testing the quality and speed of data transfer so as to produce comparative data between the four smartphones using the Telkomsel 4G LTE provider and each smartphone tested has a different storage space, different CPU and GPU. <![CDATA[Abstrak Alat kontrasepsi adalah suatu cara atau metode yang bertujuan untuk mencegah pembuahan sehingga tidak terjadi kehamilan. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada pasangan usia subur saat ini cukup banyak, sementara pertumbuhan penduduk tidak seimbang dengan pertumbuhan lapangan kerja, maka seharusnya pasangan usia subur tersebut mengenal alat kontrasepsi untuk tindakan atau usaha mencegah terjadinya kehamilan dan jarak antara anak yang pertama dengan yang berikutnya. Saat ini ada banyak alat, metode dan jenis alat kontrasepsi. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, perlu dicarikan upaya untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut. Sehingga penulis ingin memecahkan permasalahan yang terjadi, yaitu membangun sistem pendukung keputusan untuk membantu peserta program keluarga berencana dalam memilih alat kontrasepsi. Dalam perancangan sistem penulis menerapkan metode untuk mendapatkan hasil output atau keluaran yang maksimal. Metode yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode Profile Matching (PM) adalah adalah sebuah mekanisme pengambilan keputusan dengan mengasumsikan bahwa terdapat tingkat minimal yang harus dipenuhi atau dilewati. Hasil penelitian ini mencapai beberapa temuan penting dalam pengembangan sistem pendukung keputusan untuk memilih alat kontrasepsi dalam konteks program keluarga berencana. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat berkontribusi pada pengurangan angka kehamilan yang tidak diinginkan, peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang metode kontrasepsi, serta memberikan kendali lebih besar kepada individu dalam perencanaan keluarga mereka, mendukung tujuan program keluarga berencana secara efektif.]]>

<![CDATA[Latar Belakang: Sepanjang rentang kehidupan, banyak peristiwa yang telah mewarnai perjalanan hidup seseorang, salah satunya adalah pengalaman traumatic ketika masih anak, sehingga berdampak pada menetapnya “inner child” hingga dewasa. Dari studi pendahuluan terhadap 33 mahasiswa, ditemukan 7 partisipan dengan pengalaman trauma masa kecil yang serius. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggali pengalaman trauma masa kecil dan mengeksplorasi inner child yang dialami. Metode ini menggunakan desain kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi menggunakan teknik Writing Expression pada 33 mahasiswa untuk mengidentifikasi pengalaman trauma masa kecil, dan dilanjutkan FGD dengan melakukan indepth interview kepada 7 mahasiswa untuk mengeksplor inner child karena trauma yang pernah dialami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 7 partisipan mengalami pengalaman trauma masa kecil yang serius saat usia 5-10 tahun dan memiliki “inner child” yang masih menetap hingga saat ini (usia dewasa). 6 dari 7 partisipan memiliki trauma dalam keluarga dan satu partisipan pengalaman trauma karena bullying di sekolah. Simpulan: bahwa pengalaman trauma masa kecil yang serius berdampak pada terlukanya jiwa anak yang terperangkap dalam tubuh orang dewasa. Sehingga peneliti menyarankan kepada penyintas trauma untuk menyadari bahwa trauma masa kecil bukan untuk diabaikan, namun perlu diakui dan diselesaikan dengan cara meminta bantuan pada professional.]]>
