Abstract

The purpose of discussing this research is to find out the measurement of learning using e-learning using the Technology Acceptance Model approach. This research is a quantitative research with a survey approach, with a population of 67 students at Pamulang University. The data analysis technique that the writer did was quantitative descriptive analysis. The analytical method uses SEMPLS with the help of SmartPLS. The results of this study concluded that the presence of PEoU has an influence on BI, PU, which means that the ease of using LMS or E-learning at Pamulang University is able to provide benefits in improving the quality of the learning process which also has an impact on students' desire to use LMS again. But inversely related to the benefits provided (PU) does not affect BI and student satisfaction in the learning process. This can happen because in the use of LMS activities are monotonous, it is necessary to have variations in learning activities using LMS.

Abstract

Analyzing students' misconceptions is very important to do to prevent a chain of concept errors in working on math problems. The purpose of this research is to analyze students' misconceptions in solving Linear Equation Systems questions based on Newman's Stages. This type of research uses qualitative research. The subject is a semester IV student in the Informatics Engineering study program who is taking Linear and Matrix Algebra courses in Even Semester 2020/2021. There are 3 subjects as respondents which are symbolized by MKT, MKS, and MKR. The instruments used include observation, tests, documentation and interviews. The test used is the material system of linear equations (SPL). After the tests were carried out, observations were made according to Newman's stages. Furthermore, interviews were carried out and then triangulation of the data obtained. The results of the analysis of student misconceptions based on Newman's Stages are that the subject of MKT makes reading errors, comprehension errors, transformation errors and encoding errors. MKT subject misconceptions occur in MKT subjects because they are wrong in writing symbols, so that they continue to write conclusions. Furthermore, the MKS and MKR subjects made five errors at the Newman stage, namely reading errors, comprehension errors, transformation errors, process skill errors, and encoding errors. This happened among others due to errors in symbols, calculation errors and incomplete calculations, as well as errors in applying the Gauss Elimination method.

Abstract

The research purposes to investigate the impact of the students who teach by using Brainstorming Method and Variety Lecturing Method with the student’s interest at study toward the result of their study on economics subject in MAN 2 Batusangkar. The research is quasy experimental research by using two classes. The population of this research is the students grade X at MAN 2 Batusangkar. The type of sample is cluster and the students X-is3 as the class experiment and class X-is1 as control class. This research using analysis descriptive and inductive analysis by using two-ways of ANOVA. The results showed: (1) There is significant result of the students who got treatment by Brainstorming Method than the students who thought by using Variety Lecturing Method, (2) There is significant result of the students who have good interest in study by using Brainstorming Method than the students who have high interest thought by using Variety Lecturing Method, (3) There is significant result of the students who have low interest in study by using Brainstorming Method in fresh grade, (4)There is no interaction between the use of Brainstorming method and the student’s interest toward the result of their study of fresh grade. After conducted this research, the researcher would like to propose suggestion to the teacher to explore applying Brainstorming Method to increase their student interest in study.

Abstract

Language and culture are interrelated, with society. In today's modern era, how the development of language and culture share and go hand in hand, keep pace with technological advances and the development of knowledge. In millennial or urban societies, language and culture are more eroded by the times. Then how is the language and culture preservation. The purpose of this study is to see how the form of language and cultural preservation of the community in the form of traditional children's games, development, are there any children who know the game! In the current era of the current digital generation. The theory used in this research is language and culture theory. The subjects of this study were children and parents in Depok Village, West Java. This research method is a qualitative descriptive study with a descriptive analytical approach. The data techniques used were interviews, observation. The results of this study are the forms of the existence (forms) of language and cultural preservation in traditional children's games in today's digital literacy era.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of learning Indonesian in the difficulty of writing correspondence at SMP Darussalam. In order to achieve this goal, library and observation methods are used. The data obtained was first classified before being analyzed. The method used is descriptive method and contextual method, while writing difficulties will discuss the technique of writing correspondence. The type of research used in this research is descriptive quantitative research. Quantitative descriptive is a research design that describes research variables in the form of statistical figures which can later provide an overview of the difficulty of writing letters for class IX students of SMP Darussalam. The population in this study were all students of class IX at SMP Darussalam which consisted of 35 students. The sample in this study was carried out by means of positive sampling. Sampling technique with certain considerations. The results of the research were the difficulties of class IX students of SMP Darussalam in writing official letters which were categorized as quite difficult because the results obtained had an average score of 69.5 which is in the 56-74 value interval. The lowest score of 13.8 is in the 10-55 value interval, which is very difficult, while the highest score is 93.3 and is in the 86-100 value interval, which is very difficult.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether there was an effect of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Learning Model on Students' Creative Thinking Ability in SPLDV Material at SMP Negeri 1 PANEI which consisted of 30 students. This study uses a type of quantitative research with the Pra-Experimental design research method. The population in this study was class VIII with 7 classes at SMP Negeri 1 PANEI with 210 students. The number of samples taken was 30 students, namely class VIII-E Data collection techniques used pre-test and post-test. The results of the study were to find out how much influence the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Learning Model had on Students' Creative Thinking Ability in SPLDV Material at SMP Negeri 1 PANEI. The ability to think creatively based on the pre-test and post-test questions is high with an average score of 68,16 and 83,16.

Abstract

Covid-19 is a deadly virus that attacks the human respiratory system and is transmitted by splashing saliva (drops). The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic has made conventional face-to-face learning no longer possible in various regions.This study aims to analyze the impact of the Covid-19 virus pandemic on the implementation of physical education learning at SMA N 2 Semendawai Barat.The research method used in this study was a descriptive method. The data analysis technique used in this study was a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 15 questions. The sample in this study was 12th grade students at SMA N 2 Semendawai Barat. Then, to analyze the writer used Likert scale, data analysis using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques.The results of the research that the authors conducted showed that there were positive and negative impacts caused by the Covid-19 pandemic on the implementation of physical education at SMA N 2 Semendawai Barat found a very high percentage of 5%, high category 80%, while the other categories were medium categories of 10%, the low category was 5%, and the very low category was 5%..Based on the results of the analysis and conclusions in the discussion chapter, the authors provide the following suggestions: For educational institutions, it is hoped that they will be able to utilize the results of this research as a reference and additional knowledge. For teachers, it is expected that teachers will be more creative and innovative in providing learning materials so that students are more enthusiastic about participating in learning, For Further Researchers It is hoped that it will be able to become a reference for further research and be able to be developed so that it becomes even better research.

Abstract

This study was to determine the correlation between metacognitive strategies and listening comprehension. This study used quantitative designs, which were descriptive and correlational. This study's instruments were questionnaires adopted andergrifth, Goh, Mareschal, and Tafaghodtari (2006). This study was conducted to 63 students at Unklab Senior High School grade 11 Science enrolled in the first semester of the academic year 2021/2022. The sample of this study was taken by using total population sampling technique. Data were collected using two instruments and the data were analyzed by using pearson correlation. The result showed the correlation results obtained by the researchers were worth 0.00. Because the results obtained were less than 0.05, it was concluded that there was no correlation between metacognitive strategies and listening comprehension. And from the results found by researchers showed that the average respondents were weak in metacognitive strategies because based on the minimum completion criteria (kriteria ketuntasan minimal) of Unklab senior high school scores below 75 means that they failed.

Abstract

Children, including children who are in conflict with the law, are the future of the nation whose rights must be fulfilled so that they can grow and develop according to their potential. Probation Officer at Correctional Hall have the authority to provide assistance during the initial investigations by the police. This study aims to examine the rules and implementation of assistance for initial examination of children in conflict with the law by Probation Officer at the Class I Manado Correctional Hall. The method used in this research is empirical normative legal research. The results of the study show that Probation Odfficer in implementing initial examination assistance for children in conflict with the law carry out the role of researcher, mediator, and carry out a supervisory role. Probation Officers provide recommendations in the form of social research results (Penelitian Kemasyarakatan/Litmas) which are also a requirement in the process of investigation, prosecution and court hearings. In order for the implementation of assistance to run optimally, the advice that can be given is that it is hoped that there will be better coordination between law enforcers, be it the police, prosecutors, courts, and Correctional Hall, and it is hoped that Probation Officers will develop knowledge in fields other than law, namely science social welfare, psychology, and sociology.

Abstract

This research is a type of descriptive research with the method of literature review or literature study. Collecting data with documentation about the role of social studies education in multicultural education in Indonesia. Indonesia has a diverse society, ranging from culture, beliefs, ethnicity and others. Problems in this country certainly have an impact on social life. Social science education plays a role in promoting a peaceful life, encouraging one to improve adaptation to one another, can promote better communication and improve one's relationships. Social science education integrates various disciplines such as geography, history, sociology, economics and social anthropology. The implementation of social studies learning is emphasized in the field of education, so as to gain additional knowledge about attitudes and behavior, values, and good manners and can play a role in people's lives and can instill scientific attitudes in order to solve problems faced around them. Multicultural education as a strategy to utilize the various cultures of different student societies is the uniqueness or characteristic of students to form a multicultural attitude of mutual understanding and respect so as to create a tolerant education sector. The integration of educational social studies studies in multicultural education can contribute to realizing a resilient society in the development of globalization and upholding the basic philosophy stating that diversity makes education more quality and more advanced.
