Abstract

This research is a descriptive study which aimed to describe the comfort level of respondents in applying each type of right-hand rule (RHR) to determine the direction of the Lorentz force (forward reasoning) and the direction of the velocity of a charged particle (backward reasoning) moving in a homogeneous magnetic field. The respondents of this study were 10 Pre-Service Physics teachers who were at 2nd, 4th and 6th semesters. The results showed that although each type of right-hand rule, when applied accurately, would show the same result, the comfort level of the respondents in applying each type the right hand rule (RHR) is different. This difference is influenced by the clarity and simplicity of the instructional description of each type of the RHR and the ease of matching or pairing the position of fingers (and also the palm) on each type of RHR with vectors positions. The study revealed that the right hand rule type III is the most preferable RHR for the majority of respondents (80%).

Abstract

Academic supervision is a process taken by school principals to help teachers improve their ability to manage effective learning. This study aims to determine the planning, implementation, evaluation, follow-up, constraints, and solutions in the academic supervision of school principals in an effort to improve the quality of teacher learning at SMP Muhammadiyah Balikpapan. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. Principals, vice principals, and teachers participated in this study. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study found that planning for the principal's academic supervision begins with holding meetings with teachers to develop regular programs and prepare supervision instruments. The implementation of academic supervision is carried out through class observation by observing the implementation of learning, starting from the teacher opening the lesson to closing the lesson, establishing communication between the principal and the teacher to provide input, discussing and sharing information between teachers so that the teacher can improve his quality and master the learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

In general, in big cities there are many lanes and intersections and this certainly makes it difficult for someone to determine the optimal route. Problems between travel time and distance from the location of origin to the destination location can also affect the costs to be incurred. To solve this problem, applied research was carried out using the dynamic programming method with the aim of determining the route with the shortest distance that the campus bus could pass from Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas to the Rahmat International Wildlife Museum and Gallery. Dynamic Programming is a mathematical technique used to optimize decision-making processes in stages. In this case data collection for all routes uses Google Maps which is then represented in a network diagram using the Geogebra application which is then completed using a backward recursive equation procedure in several stages, starting from the destination location to the origin location. With this procedure, it was concluded that the shortest route taken from Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas to Rahmat Gallery and Wildlife Museum Medan is Rahmat International Wildlife Museum and Gallery ® J&K Barber Shop ® Grandika Hotel ® Ring Road Intersection ® Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas with a distance of 10,66 kilometers.

Abstract

The Pre-Employment Card Program is an implementation of Article 27 (2) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia which reads: "Every citizen has the right to work and a decent living. The purpose of this study is the Effect of the Post-Covid 19 Pandemic Pre-Employment Card Program on Income and Long-Term Benefits for Housewives. The research method used is quantitative with multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 18. This research was conducted on Household who received the pre-employment card program. The total population was 100 people. The results of this study are that Pre-Employment Card has a significant influence on income and benefits. So that H1 states the alleged influence of Pre-Employment Karu on income and benefits, so H2 states the alleged influence of post-pandemic 19 on income and benefits received.

Abstract

This research focuses on students' understanding of the learning tools to be used before conducting Field Experience Practice (PPL). This study aims to determine students' understanding of learning tools before conducting Field Experience Practice (PPL). The type of research used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The research subjects used are students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education who are taking PPL courses. Data collection techniques are carried out with objective tests. The data analysis technique is carried out using a percentage formula with the test instruments covering five learning device components. From the total number of respondents who answered the objective question test, scores were obtained in the range of 20-40. The average of the total student test scores was obtained with a score of 27.86 with the criteria of not being ready to carry out PPL. Collaboration in related courses is needed before PPL is carried out in the form of seminars and direct assistance related to the preparation of learning tools so that students better understand the material other than those obtained in lectures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada pemahaman mahasiswa tentang perangkat pembelajaran yang akan digunakan sebelum melakukan Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL). Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu ingin mengetahui pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap perangkat pembelajaran sebelum melakukan Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan (PPL). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan yaitu mahasiswa pada Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah PPL. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes objektif. Adapun teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus persentase dengan instrumen tes yang digunakan meliputi lima komponen perangkat pembelajaran. Dari total keseluruhan responden yang menjawab tes soal objektif didapatkan nilai pada rentang 20-40. Rata-rata dari total nilai tes mahasiswa didapatkan nilai 27,86 dengan kriteria belum siap melaksanakan PPL. Diperlukan kolaborasi pada mata kuliah terkait sebelum dilakukannya PPL dalam bentuk seminar dan pendampingan langsung yang berkaitan dengan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran sehingga mahasiswa lebih memahami materi selain yang didapatkan dibangku perkuliahan

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to review, analyze, find out the mechanism and practice of managing zakat funds that are utilized in the form of educational scholarships (scholarship) with the condition of becoming a workforce or assistance at LAZ Sukoharjo, and knowing the legal basis in terms of the positive aspects of Indonesian law and Islamic law which become basis for implementing the program. The research method used is field research with a qualitative approach, the data presentation is descriptive, the data collection technique is observation, interviews. Based on the results of research in the field, it can be interpreted that the basis for the management of zakat funds used for educational scholarships is Indonesian positive law Law no. 23 of 2011 concerning the management of zakat, and Islamic law QS. At-Taubah (9) 60 which explains about mustahik receiving zakat. Management of zakat funds in the form of educational scholarships (scholarships) by institutions intended for workforce (volunteers) by involving students who provide scholarships with the aim of increasing the space for human resources at LAZ Sukoharjo, increasing relationships, mobilizing, and also increasing the benefits for others.

Abstract

Utilization of today's technology is something that can't be avoided, because of the need for information very fast, and precisely becomes a necessity major in all aspects. One of the technologies that the most developed is the technology that web-based which is often referred to as Internet. This technology is already in use in various fields of business, government, health, education and so on. Internet technology that is now ingrained meat must be used optimally, the existence of technology is also expected to be the answer to generalize speed of service, an advancement if the government is starting to adopt the technology as the main infrastructure of public services. The application of SIMDA Financial application to the Bungo Regency Regional Financial is based on SIMDA elements such as adequate internet network access, basic infrastructure and applications, all infrastructure in the form of hardware, software, and brain ware is adequate as well as information management and processing organizations and electronic documents that are sufficient. So that, the SIMDA Financial Application has produced financial statement information and other financial information with excellent quality relevance, excellent accuracy, and very good timeliness as well.

Abstract

The article entitled Semiotic Studies in the Poems "Bilang" and "Memilikimu" by Tere Liye is a semiotic study that discusses two poems by Tere Liye entitled, "Memilikimu" and "Bilang". The purpose of this research is to produce an interpretation that contains the theme of humanity with the problem of love in the two poems and to describe the meaning through signs that produce interpretations through the study of Semiotics. Analysis of the two titles of this poem uses a qualitative descriptive method. The approach used is Aart Van Zoest's semiotic approach. The technique that we use is the reading technique. The researcher reads the entire poem and then records the words, phrases and clauses to find signs that result in an interpretation that contains the theme of humanity with the value of love in the two poems. The results of the research are the poems entitled "Bilang" and "Memilikimu" which contain the theme of humanity which contains the meaning of love that does not reach and cannot have. In both poems, the dominance of incomplete sentence patterns was found, the dominance of phrases/words with meaningful denotations, and five figures of speech were found, including repetition, cynicism, allegory, hyperbole and parallelism. Meanwhile, the isotopes used in the two poems are character isotope, perception isotope, movement isotope, nature isotope, human isotope and space isotope. I lyrics in both poems use singular personal pronouns and plural personal pronouns. In addition, these poems are advice from poets to readers regarding matters of love.

Abstract

Adolescence is an important period in the life span, a period in which individuals experience changes, namely a transition period from children to adults, cognitive, physiological, and socio-emotional changes . At this time adolescents face many problems related to education in schools, learning activities are the most basic activities for students, but these learning activities for each student do not always run smoothly according to what they want. This study aims to see the relationship between Optimism and Adversity Quotient in Class XII students of SMA Kartika Padang. The measuring instrument used in this scale is the scale of optimism and Adversity Quotient. The sampling technique in this study used the Simple Random Sampling technique. The sample in this study were 130 students of SMA Kartika Padang. Test the validity and reliability in this study using the Cronbach Alpha analysis technique. The results of the validity coefficient on the optimism scale move from rix = 0.322 to rix = 0.609 with a reliability coefficient of = 0.899 while the results of the validity coefficient on the Adversity Quotient scale move from rix = 0.409 to rix = 0.900 with a reliability coefficient of =0.976. Based on data analysis, obtained a correlation value of 0.787 with a significance level of 0.000 (p<0,05), which means the hypothesis is accepted. Research shows that there is a significant relationship between optimism and Adversity Quotient in Kartika Padang High School Students.
