Abstract

This study aims to know the effectiveness of the use of e-module-based geography teaching materials with inserts of religious values. This type of research is development research (Research and Development) by adapting the ADDIE model. Validation of teaching materials is obtained from learning material experts, learning media experts, and learning design experts. The practicality of teaching materials is obtained from teachers and students. The effectiveness of teaching materials is obtained from student learning outcomes. The results showed that: 1) The quality of e-module-based geography teaching materials is very valid and very practical. The validity assessment from the learning material expert got the final score of 92.5%, the learning media expert got the final score of 91.25%, and the learning design expert got the final score of 85.71%. The practicality assessment got a final score of 88.33%; 2) Student learning outcomes data showed that there was a change in scores from pre-test to post-test with an average N-gain score of the experimental class of 77.07 belonging to the high category. Meanwhile, the average N-gain score for the control class is 60.05, which is included in the medium category. Based on the results of the t-test, it can be concluded that the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.000 so the significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < the significance value of 0.05. This means that there is a difference between experimental classes that are given special behaviors using module-based teaching materials and getting higher scores than control classes that do not use e-module-based teaching materials. So it can be concluded that the teaching materials developed can increase the effectiveness of learning.

Abstract

The development of the world of education is currently increasing, one of which is the emergence of E-learning and constructivism learning designs that explore the potential, abilities, and insights of students in a broad and structured manner through Blended Learning. The method used in this writing is a literature study using several articles as material to create new articles. In this study, the author writes by referring to several articles that have been reviewed. Results The use of learning designs that combine face-to-face methods with learning designs using IT becomes an alternative when many students feel bored with the current learning designs. The face-to-face learning system that has undergone a change from traditional (lectures) to a more modern one is the constructivist approach. The use of the Blended Learning method that combines the design of Constructivism Learning with E-Learning makes the KBM process run better and optimally.

Abstract

This research was conducted to identify the understanding of Form Four students and analyze the differences in mean achievement between the control and experimental groups on the mind map of Malay essays. This selection map was tested on 30 Form Four students at Vocational High (VHS) Malay language, Saratok. Statistics were collected through the survey and quasi-experimental methods, and the peeled data was done quantitatively. The findings of this study show that the level of understanding of Form Four students is at a moderately high level because most students know the names and functions of each mind map introduced. Furthermore, the mean of post-test students taught using mind maps was higher than that taught using cooperative learning, which was a 1.8 difference. The increase in the experimental group's mean in this post-test showed that teaching Malay essays using mind maps improved student achievement in writing essays. This research can help Malay language teachers diversify their teaching techniques and help students master the writing of Malay language essays.
