Abstract

The integration of digital activities into language learning has transformed traditional instructional methods, increasing engagement and interactivity. This study explores the experiences and perceptions of fourth-semester students in the English Education program at State Islamic University Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu regarding the use of digital tools for language acquisition. Employing a qualitative research design, the study investigates students’ evaluations of digital resources, their perceived benefits, and the challenges they encounter. Findings reveal that students frequently utilize digital tools such as educational videos, online reading platforms, and social media to enhance vocabulary acquisition, listening comprehension, and interactive language practice. Digital activities, particularly those incorporating gamification, are perceived as engaging and motivating. However, students also identify key challenges, including a lack of structured guidance, limited feedback, and technological barriers such as poor internet connectivity. While digital tools effectively support receptive skills (listening and reading), their impact on productive skills (speaking and writing) is limited without instructor support. This study contributes to research on digital learning by highlighting both its pedagogical advantages and constraints. The findings emphasize the need for structured pedagogical interventions, such as blended learning models that integrate digital tools with instructor-led guidance and feedback. Addressing technological barriers is also crucial to ensuring equitable access to digital learning resources. Future research should examine the long-term effects of digital learning on productive language skills and explore strategies for optimizing digital learning outcomes. By understanding students’ experiences, educators and institutions can refine digital learning approaches to enhance engagement and language acquisition.

Abstract

This study addresses the issue of suboptimal development of children's creativity, often caused by limited opportunities for exploration. Teachers' restrictive approaches hinder children’s creative problem-solving abilities. Using a quasi-experimental method, this research employs purposive sampling, involving two groups: experimental and control, each consisting of 20 children. The study was conducted at two schools, namely UNRI FKIP LAB Kindergarten and Pembina 2 Pekan Baru State Kindergarten. Data collection methods included observation and documentation, with analysis performed using a t-test through SPSS version 26.0 for Windows. The results reveal that project-based learning significantly enhances both creativity and critical thinking skills in young children. This research also highlights active participation and increased understanding among children through contextualized learning through project based learning. This research has limitations as it suggests that early childhood creativity and critical thinking abilities are influenced by more than just project-based learning methods. However, in this research we only looked at two variables, while there are still many other factors that can influence it. It is hoped that future research can examine more deeply the influencing factors, not just two variables

Abstract

This study aims to analyze women empowerment through Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) using the learning by doing approach in Imbanagara Village, Ciamis Regency. Women empowerment is a strategic effort to improve family welfare and encourage women's active participation in productive economic activities, particularly in home-based industries. The research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation with MSME actors and Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) managers. The findings indicate that the learning by doing model effectively enhances the skills, confidence, and business management capabilities of women engaged in MSMEs. Support from BUMDes, in the form of training, mentoring, and access to capital, significantly contributes to the success of women-led businesses. The integration of technology in product marketing has also been initiated, though it still requires further enhancement. This study concludes that women empowerment through MSMEs not only improves family income but also creates new job opportunities for the surrounding community. Therefore, further technological assistance and access to capital are necessary to ensure the program’s sustainability and optimal impact

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of career guidance, industrial work experience (internship), and emotional intelligence to the work readiness of students at SMK N 1 Sutera. The background of this research is the high unemployment rate among vocational school graduates and the gap between their competencies and the needs of the industrial sector.Using a quantitative approach and survey method, the study involved 68 students who had participated in the internship program. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that career guidance significantly contributed to students’ work readiness with a correlation coefficient of r = 0.535 (R² = 28.6%, p = 0.000). This indicates that better career guidance helps improve students’ preparedness for the workforce. Internship experience also had a positive impact, with r = 0.351 (R² = 12.3%, p = 0.015), suggesting that hands-on industry experience increases students' readiness for real work environments. Emotional intelligence had the most dominant influence with r = 0.606 (R² = 36.8%, p = 0.000), showing that the ability to manage emotions and adapt socially plays a key role in preparing students for the workplace.Simultaneously, these three variables contributed 57.8% to students’ work readiness (R² = 0.578, F = 29.193, p = 0.000), meaning the research model is statistically significant. Therefore, schools and industries should enhance career guidance quality, improve the relevance of internship programs, and offer training to strengthen students' emotional intelligence, to better prepare them for the labor market and increase their competitiveness
