Abstract

Entrepreneurship education in vocational high schools plays a crucial role in shaping students to become independent and innovative individuals capable of creating their own businesses. However, many students still show a low level of interest in entrepreneurship, which calls for an investigation into the influencing factors. This study aims to analyze the influence of achievement motivation and the use of information technology on students’ entrepreneurial interest, either directly or indirectly through entrepreneurial learning outcomes. The research was conducted using a quantitative correlational method involving 125 students from SMKN 2 Merangin during the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through validated and reliable questionnaires measuring achievement motivation, technology use, and entrepreneurial interest. Students' learning outcomes were obtained from their average scores in the subject "Productive Creative Entrepreneurship." Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, regression analysis, and path analysis with the help of RStudio. The results showed that both achievement motivation and information technology use had a significant positive effect on students’ entrepreneurial learning outcomes and their interest in entrepreneurship. Specifically, learning outcomes acted as a mediating variable, enhancing the influence of both independent variables on entrepreneurial interest. The path analysis indicated that the total effects of achievement motivation and technology use on entrepreneurial interest were 0.31 and 0.29, respectively, with a direct contribution from learning outcomes of 0.32. In conclusion, achievement motivation and the use of information technology significantly influence students’ entrepreneurial interest, with entrepreneurial learning outcomes serving as an important mediating factor. These findings suggest that strengthening motivation and integrating digital literacy into the curriculum can enhance students' readiness and enthusiasm for entrepreneurship

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of mathematics at the Vocational High School (SMK) level is still a crucial problem in the world of education, especially in the context of conventional learning that does not involve optimal student activity. This study aims to analyze the influence of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type cooperative learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of class X students at SMKN 2 Aviation Bukit Batu. The approach used is a quantitative approach with a quasi experimental design method, using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design design. The study involved two classes of 30 students each, which were divided into an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group received a learning treatment using the TAI model for 12 meetings, while the control group followed conventional learning. The results showed that the average post-test score of the experimental group was 82.7, higher than the control group which only reached 72.5. The increase in scores from pre-test to post-test in the experimental group reached 20.3 points, while in the control group it was only 10.8 points. In addition, the level of learning completeness of students in the experimental group reached 90%, while in the control group it was only 60%. These findings show that the TAI learning model has a positive and significant influence on improving students' mathematics learning outcomes. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the TAI type cooperative learning model is effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of vocational school students, both in terms of increasing the average score and the percentage of learning completeness

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence, work environment, and industrial internship on learning effectiveness through teacher performance in Vocational High Schools (SMK) using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. A total of 35 relevant articles published between 2020 and 2025 were thematically analyzed to identify patterns and gaps in related research. The study results show that teacher competencies, especially in pedagogical and professional aspects, strongly influence student motivation and learning outcomes. A conducive working environment and effective leadership also improve teachers' performance in delivering materials optimally. In addition, the industrial apprenticeship program (PKL) for students and teachers is proven to improve the relevance of learning to the needs of the world of work, although its implementation still faces various challenges such as the lack of guidance from the industry and the mismatch of tasks with student competencies. This review suggests the need for continuous synergy between schools and industry and strengthening teacher training to make vocational education more responsive to labor market dynamics. Further research is recommended to examine the long-term impact of vocational education on graduates' career success and the development of effective school-industry partnership models

Abstract

Dribbling is a fundamental technical skill in soccer that determines a player’s ability to control the ball and bypass opponents. At SMP Negeri 2 Ampek Nagari, students participating in extracurricular soccer activities have shown relatively low dribbling ability, highlighting the need for effective training methods. This study aimed to examine the effects of two training types Ladder Drill and Ball Feeling and the role of agility in improving dribbling skills. A pseudo-experimental method with a 2 x 2 factorial design was applied, involving 40 students divided into four groups based on training type and agility level (fast or slow). Data was collected through pre- and post-tests of dribbling and agility across 16 training sessions. The results, analyzed using two-way ANOVA at a 0.05 significance level, revealed a significant effect of both training type and agility level on dribbling improvement (F = 8.417; p < 0.05), with the interaction contributing 41.2% of the variation. The group with high agility who received Ball Feeling training showed the greatest improvement (mean = 57.80), followed by the low-agility Ball Feeling group (mean = 54.90). In contrast, those trained with Ladder Drill showed lower improvement 42.70 for high agility and 45.30 for low agility. The Tukey test confirmed significant differences between training methods at both agility levels. The study concludes that Ball Feeling training is more effective than Ladder Drill, especially when paired with good agility. Coaches are recommended to emphasize Ball Feeling exercises to optimize young players’ dribbling development.
